Samael Aun Weor considered the Eucharist so important, he even insisted on having it the day he died.

The Eucharist is the consumption of food and drink blessed through ritual and filled with Christic atoms. All aspirants should be having the Eucharist regularly, even daily when needed.

Decades earlier, he wrote:

"The Holy Eucharist should be practiced in the houses of all our Gnostic brothers and sisters..." —Samael Aun Weor, Secret Notes of a Guru

Unfortunately, many people avoid or reject the Eucharist. About this, Samael Aun Weor said,

"One night, I invited a gentleman to the holy Gnostic Eucharist. Instead of the consecrated wine, the gentleman drank water; that is to say, that gentleman flatly rejected the blood of redemption. Indeed, the tree is known by its fruits, and that fruit is black... No white magician would ever reject the blood of redemption. With this act in this moment of the twentieth century, that emissary of the black lodge of Aquarius committed the greatest of all infamies: rejecting the blood of the martyr of Golgotha." —Samael Aun Weor, Secret Notes of a Guru

The Eucharist is required on the path. Those who reject it also reject Christ. Of course, in other traditions, it has other names and rituals: but the Eucharist is always present in temples of the White Lodge. In fact, just a few days ago an instructor was present at a day-long ritual of prayers and chanting conducted by a group of Tibetan Buddhist lamas: at the end, they gave him a sip of blessed wine, and after that a bit of blessed "grain" (tsog) - precisely the same as the Christian "bread and wine." Those lamas do not know the words "Eucharist" or "Christ" - yet they are working with those very forces.

The Eucharist is so vital that in Secret Notes of a Guru, now in English for the first time, Samael Aun Weor provided a Gnostic Mass that families can have at home.

"Thus, each home can become a Gnostic temple, and the head of each family a priest. No more lodges, no more schools, no more sects, no more infamies, no more exploitation! The temple is within ourselves, and the High Priest is Christ." —Samael Aun Weor, Secret Notes of a Guru

The Eucharist fills us with Christic atoms that awaken consciousness and strengthen us in the work. It is a wonderful, mystical ritual that any of us can perform at home. For those who practice alone, he also provided a simple Eucharist practice in Tarot and Kabbalah and The Seven Words (included in The Divine Science). If you have not read these books, we encourage you to do so.

We especially invite you to read Secret Notes of a Guru, a very intimate and interesting account of Samael Aun Weor's experiences in prison.
