The Prayer of the Lord, called in Latin “Pater Noster,” is powerful when we recite it in Latin, given the fact that Latin is a Romanic root language of different romance languages, such as Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese. We also find Latin words in the English language.

ptah

Ptah

"Pater [Πτα - Ptah] noster, qui es in cælis.
Sanctificetur nomen tuum.
Adveniat regnum tuum.
Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in cælo, et in terra.
Panem nostrum supersubstantialem da nobis hodie.
Et dimitte nobis debita nostra, sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris.
Et ne nos inducas in tentationem.
Sed libera nos a malo.
Quia tuum est regnum, potentia et gloria in saecula saeculorum.
Amen."

We are going to explain the Prayer of the Lord from the Kabbalistic point of view by delving into four main languages.

In the Gospel of Luke is written:

“And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, ‘This is the King of the Jews.’” – Luke 23:38

The Hebrew language is derived from Aramaic. This is why when we go into the explanation of the Prayer of the Lord we have to go into the many languages that were spoken two thousand years ago when Jesus was teaching publicly.

“When Israel was a child, I loved him, and I called my son out of Egypt [Het-Ka-Ptah].”- Hosea 11:1

The graphic above is of the Egpytian symbol Ptah, who is also called Ftha or Patah, which as an archetype was very active in Egypt. We find Ptah in the Bible as Tso-Phtah Paneach צפתה פענח [Genesis 41:45]. Thus, we are also going to explain what Ptah symbolizes. That is why at the bottom of this powerful symbol or archetype we wrote the quotation of Hosea chapter 11, verse 1.

With this we want to point out that Tso-Phtah Paneach פענח צפתה came with Moses out of Egypt.

“And Moses took the bones of Joseph [צפתה פענח] with him: for he had straightly sworn the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with you.” – Exodus 13: 19

Likewise, Jesus came out of Egypt.

“And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him. When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt: And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.” – Matthew 2: 13-15

Thus, all of these prayers and wisdom that we find in Christianity, Islam, and Judaism emerge from the same land: Egypt. When we study the Egyptian archetypes, which are very profound, we Gnostics do not fall into the mistake of thinking like the ignoramuses who think that these are “idols.” We know what idols are, and what archetypes are.

Ptah

By looking at this archetype Ptah, we find very profound symbols, especially those that he is holding in his hands.

We find on the first graphic that he his holding a staff called Was; on top of this scepter we also see a symbol, a kind of bird head, which is the cynocephali Seth. He is also holding the Djed, another scepter, which is the symbol of stability. In his hands he holds two Ankh crosses, which are the symbol of two keys. Remember that in Christian symbolism we find the same symbol with Peter the Apostle holding the keys to heaven in his hands. It is the same symbol. The Ankh cross is a very sexual and profound symbol related with creation.

Ptah was very famous in ancient Egypt, and is still shown in many ways, but in esoteric societies, groups that know and understand what Ptah symbolizes.

ptah-name

These are the hieroglyphics of Ptah’s name. The square or rectangular figure is the letter P. The half circle is the letter T. The rope symbolizes the two serpents, and is the letter H. This is how you write Ptah in hieroglyphics. This is how we spell in hieroglyphics Ptah, the Father.

The Pater Noster is Ptah Noster, because indeed when we investigate the symbol of Ptah, we find what Madam Blavatsky states in The Secret Doctrine,

“Ptah the son of Kneph in the Egyptian Pantheon is the principle of Light and Life through which the creation or rather evolution took place; the Egyptian Logos and creator, the Demiurgos. A very old deity, as, according to Herodotus he had a temple erected to him by Menes, the first king of Egypt. He is giver of life and the self born and the father of Apis, the sacred bull, conceived through a ray from the Sun. Ptah is thus the prototype of Osiris, a later Deity.

“Herodote said that he is the father of Kabiri, the mystery-gods and the Targum of Jerusalem tells: the Egyptians called the Wisdom of the First Intelligence the name of Ptah.” - H. P. Blavatsky

The first intelligence is the sephirah Kether. Let us continue reading this quotation.

“Ptah is Maat, the divine wisdom, though from another aspect he is Svabhavat, the self created substance. As a prayer addressed to him in the ritual of the dead says: After calling Ptah “father of all fatherhood and of all gods, generator of all the human beings produced by his substance. “Thou art without father, being, engendered by thy own will; thou art without mother, being born by the renewal of thine own substance from whom proceeds substance.” - H. P. Blavatsky

Ptah as an archetype encloses a marvelous symbol that we are going to study from the Gnostic point of view in order to understand it.

ptah-tree-of-life

We find Ptah in the Tree of Life, the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet, and the circle of the Zodiac. Indeed, with its three letters Ptah represents the first triangle of the Tree of Life: Kether, Chokmah, and Binah, or as we call in Christianity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Ptah synthesizes itself in the sephirah Binah, because Binah, which is the Holy Spirit, is the creative force that expresses itself through the sexual organs. That is why when we address Ptah we call it the almighty Ptah, or the powerful Ptah, understanding that the sexual potency descends from the solar Absolute into the sephirah Yesod, which is the sexual energy.

When we are addressing Ptah, we find this archetype in different places in the Tree of life and within us. For instance we also call it Ptah Ra; because “Ra” or Re is the Solar Logos.

falcon

In the graphic above is the symbol of Ra. In Egyptian hieroglyphics the symbol of the eye is the letter R. The bird is the symbol of the letter A in Egyptian hieroglyphics. So, bird + eye is Ra.

The falcon symbolizes the descent of the solar light into humanity. So, this is how the Egyptians symbolized this marvelous archetype Ra, which indeed is related with the Solar Absolute, the force that in Kabbalah is called the Ain Soph Aur, the “limitless light.” Ptah is the very source of light.

The letter P is the sephirah Kether, a symbol of “the Father.” The sephirah Chokmah is the letter T, the cross, the Son; the sephirah Chokmah is the Christ in Christianity that descends with his cross in order to work. The letter H is the Holy Spirit, or as we say in Kabbalah: Iod Hei Vav, and Hei. This second letter Hei in Iod Hei Vav Hei symbolizes the Solar Absolute. Thus, Iod Hei Vav Hei is what we call in Egyptian terms Ptah Ra.

So, from the union of those two words or archetypes, Ptah and Ra, we spell the word Patar, which is the sacred name of Peter the Apostle, which is always represented with the letters PTR. Behold here the secret of this archetype or symbol, which abides in each one of us. So, always visualize these archetypes within, since there is not a single human being without Ptah Ra.

In other lectures we explain that Ptah is what we call the Glorian, the breath of the Absolute eternally emanating in the first moment in order to enter into the universe for its development. That breath of the Absolute is light, but a unity of light, this is why in Greek it is called monad (“unity”). Within that monad—which is that light, Aur in Hebrew, and Ra in Egypt—we find Ptah, P T H, meaning: spiritual atoms of Father, Son and Holy Spirit within.

Ra and Ptah together are the number four, which is the Holy Tetragrammaton (Iod Hei Vav Hei). Ptah symbolizes the Holy Trinity, and together with Ra, the solar light, is the Tetragrammaton which works in every human organism. That light descends from above and places itself in the sexual gonads with its two keys. That is why you find that Ptah has two keys. The right key: the man, and left key: the woman. By crossing them, we build power. That is why it is said that Ptah is the creator in itself.

Behold here, this great symbol of the Holy Trinity in Egypt. This is our Father who is in Heaven. We have to understand that each one of us has Our Father who is in Heaven; that Father is within. The father is not outside, it is inside. It is in the very base of our existence. Here is the Prayer of the Lord written in Hebrew for those who know Hebrew:

“Abinu Sheba Schamayim” is how Jesus said “Our Father who art in Heaven” in Hebrew. In the Hebrew letters of “Abinu Sheba Schamayim” [אָבִינוּ שֶׁבַּשָּׁמַיִם] we find the marvelous symbol of “Abinu,” our Father Ptah.

Within these letters we also find the three mother letters that we find in the center of the graphic of the zodiacal circle with the 22 Hebrew letters.

rosecross-zodiac

The letter א Aleph of אָבִינוּ symbolizes air. The letter ש Shin of שֶׁבַּשָׁמַיִם represents fire. The letter מ Mem of מַיִם represents water. Those are the three elemental forces of the three mother letters that emanate from the breath that is symbolized by the letter ה Hei. As we explained in other lectures, these letters together spell Hashem האשמ. Hashem means “The Name.”

Ha-Shemayim השמים, which is plural, means “the heavens,” which as the highest part of each one of us, is plural. I have my own Father, and each one of you has your own Father, thus, there are - שמים shemyim - “many names,” because each one of us has his own name. Within Kabbalah we say השם Hashem, “The Name,” thus, השמים Ha-Shemayim has many meanings.

Behold here this Kabbalistic explanation of the Hebrew language “Abinu Sheba Schamayim,” Our Father who art in Heaven. Indeed “Sheba” in Aramaic means seven. When we say Sheba we are addressing the kingdom, the Sephirah Malkuth (“kingdom”).

When we say “Abinu Sheba Schamayim,” we address the Shabbath, the seventh day, our Father Binah, the seventh force, Saturn. The sephirah Binah is the Holy Spirit in heaven שמים Schamayim. Everything emerges from the creative sexual force of Binah, the Holy Spirit.

As you can see, we again find the word Shem (which means “name”) in Schamayim. When we read “the name” השם Hashem, it means the name of God. Lets us now study the whole Hebrew phrase:

“Abinu Shebashamayim, Yitkedesh Shemkha”

“Our Father who art in Heaven, Holy be thy name.”

Seven is Sheba; name is Shem. The plural of שם Shem is שמים Schamayim, which means names, even if it is translated as Heaven. Thus, שמים Schamayim, heaven, is formed by all the names of God. This is how we Kabbalisitcally understand שמים Schamayim.

Just by itself ים Yam means water. ים Yam or Yim means also sea. Now, when we talk about water we are talking about the Akashic fluid diluted in the space, which records is where we find all of these Godly names. This is why when we talk about אלהים Elohim (“Gods and Goddesses”) we ask: is the name of God Allah? Yes it is. Is the name of God INRI? Yes it is. Is the name of God Jehovah? Yes it is. Is it Tao? Yes it is. The name of God is שמים many names. God is Elohim (“Gods and Goddesses”). This is why שבשמים Sheba-Shamayim means שב Sheb, שבע Shĕba' seven, that is - in feminine terms - מַֽלְכַּת־שְׁבָא Malkuth, the Queen מלכה Malkah of שבע Shĕba' the seventh Sephirah; and - in masculine terms - שמים Schamayim meaning names or heavens.

As you see, the word Shebashamayim means “seven heavens” and Malkuth the Seventh, or Binah, the seventh Heaven; all of them together are שבתות Shabbatoth. This is how in Kabbalah we understand שבשמים Sheba-Shamayim in synthesis.

ptah-Egypt-hashamim

Let us return to the Ptah graphic. You need to see this in order to understand it. When we say Ha-Schamayim, we visualize the word in the middle of the column, the middle column of the Tree of Life, which Ptah is holding with his two hands, with two keys. That is the spinal column. That is the power of God. The power of God is in your spinal column. If you do not work within your spinal column, you do not develop that power. In order to develop that power, you have to hold with your two hands the two keys. One of the two shafts of that scepter that Ptah is holding has four levels. Those four levels are the four worlds: Atziluth, Briah, Yetzirah and Assiah [What are the Four Worlds?], the four manifested worlds that God has in his power; this is the meaning of Ptah holding all of that.

Four Worlds of Kabbalah

rosecross

As can you see in the middle of the Rosicross, we find the three primary, mother letters; around them we find the seven double letters. Seven Sheb, שבע Shĕba' and as plural or double we find the word שבתות Shabbatoth. Here, we have to understand that our own particular ray (the letter Hei, the Glorian) - with its three primary mother letters within - when entering into the universe acts and projects its creative power through any of the seven cosmic rays, or Seven Cosmic Creator Elohim. The book of Revelation talks extensively about the seven.

“And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.” – Revelation 5:6

Revelation 5:6 says in synthesis that the Lamb of God, which is symbolized by the three primary mother letters in the middle, has seven horns and seven eyes. Meaning, the seven double letters; deep down we also have those seven double forces. Our Glorian is attached to one of those seven rays, and that ray is also our Father who is in Heaven. This cosmic horn is, we will say, that Cosmocreator that took care of our Glorian when it emerged from the Absolute. Those Seven Cosmocreators are fully developed, and dwell within us as archetypes. They became in charge of many rays in order to guide them in the universe and to develop them because they know how to do it.

In this solar system, the seven mighty rays are ruled by Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Michael, Samael, Zachariel, and Orifiel. They are represented by the seven double letters that are around the three mother letters. Outside of the seven we find the twelve simple letters that symbolize the twelve tribes of Israel or the twelve zodiacal signs where these archetypes develop. Thus, 12, 7 and 3 form 3 concentrical circles which also symbolize our archetypes within our own particular individuality, or Rosicross.

When we say “Israel” we look to the twelve tribes, the twelve zodiacal signs, the twelve simple letters that are ruled by the seven double letters, the Seven Cosmocreators, and deep within, the three primary forces that are Father, Son, and Holy Spirit within us. This is what we call the twenty-two archetypes. All of us have twenty-two archetypes within. All of those twelve archetypes, Israel, plus the seven mighty rays, and the three primary forces, within our own particular ray, are what we call השם Hashem, השמים Ha-Schamayim, “the heavens.” That is why when we talk about the twelve zodiacal signs we point to the space outside, the heavens. All of that is in relation with every single unity; with you, with me, with other planets. Everyone has those types of archetypes within. This is what we call השמים Ha-Schamayim. In synthesis, all the letters of השמים Ha-Schamayim, “The Heavens” or “The Names,” descend into the sephirah Malkuth. According to Genesis in the Bible, in Malkuth, they are called Shemites, which are the development of Shem. שֵׁם Shem is his original name. As you know שֵׁם Shem was the first son of Noah. Noah is that archetype or Nous Atom that we have in the left ventricle of the heart.

“And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat שֵׁם Shem.” - Genesis 5: 32

The word Shemite or Semite derives from שֵׁם Shem. Thus, when people in this day in age, precisely in this modern times, talk about anti-Semitism or anti-Shemitism they ignore that such a term means “anti-spiritual” forces. Thus, anti-Semitism does not mean what ignoramus people think. When you study the Shemites or Semites in this physical world you find different races. Among them are the Hebrews or the Jews. The ignoramuses think that only the Jews are Semites or Shemites. Yet the truth is that everybody is a Shemite, given that we all have השם Hashem inside. To be anti-Shemite, or anti-Semite means to be against the development of השמים Ha-Schamayim, these archetypes which Kabbalistically in conjunction are named Israel.

Master Samael Aun Weor stated:

ISRAEL is a word that must be analyzed.

‘IS’ reminds us of Isis and the Isiac Mysteries.

‘RA’ reminds us of the Solar Logos.

Let us remember the disc of RA found in the ancient Egypt of the Pharaohs.

‘EL’ is ‘EL’. ‘EL’ is the interior, profound God within each one of us.

In sequence and correct etymological corollary, the people of Israel are constituted by the various parts of the Being. All of the multiple Self-conscious and independent parts of our own individual Being constitute the people of Israel. – The Gnostic Bible: The Pistis Sophia Unveiled

Thus, Israel is inside of everybody, whether they are Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Taoists or Zoroastrians, etc. Everybody carries those archetypes within, which is what the Prayer of the Lord calls “Abinu Shebashamayim Yitkadesh Shimkha,” that is, “Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.” Thus, השם Hashem, “the name” is inside of you, because you have that Holy Name within the profundities of your consciousness.

Who and what is the name of your inner God? It is something you have to discover. The great Avatars that came down here to Malkuth in order to teach the word gave the name of their own particular inner God. Yet, this does not mean that only those Gods exist. God is Elohim, a Multiple-Perfect-Unity in Heaven, Schamayim, but if we go down here, down into Malkuth, then Shem is called Shemoth שמות - Hebrew for “names” – which is the feminine aspect of that Multiple-Perfect-Unity of names that has to descend in order to develop. That is why in Malkuth, Shem is called Shemoth שמות because Malkuth is a feminine sephirah that has to develop Shem.

In other words, all the solar force of the Absolute and the seven Cosmocreators and the 12 signs of the zodiacal belt descend as archetypes into our physicality in different ways, so that we as men can create the sperm; that is the seed of Brahma or Abraham, our Inner God. With regard to merely physical creation, men look for a woman because she is the soil, Adamah, the ground that men need in order for their seed to grow. Men place the seed into the womb during the sexual act. Behold here the two keys that Ptah holds in his hands; the Ankh cross is the sexual potency of the Omnipotent, Ptah. Thereafter, the woman develops that seed in her womb for nine months. Listen, in esotericism we understand that the female is the one in charge of creation, this is pretty obvious. Nonetheless, understand that the sephirah Malkuth (our physicality) is also feminine.

“Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulled, or added thereto. Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He said not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.” - Galatians 3: 15, 16

This is why שבע Sheba is שבע-בת Bathsheba “the daughter of the seven” the בת-שבע Sheba-Bath or שבת Shabbath, which is in Malkuth, also a feminine symbol that all of us have to understand. This is why שבת Shabbath, Saturday is holy, “if we make it holy;” in other words, שבת Shabbath is our own physical matter.

“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.” – Exodus 20: 8

“[Remember that] on [Malkuth] the seventh day Elohim [Binah] ended the work which they had made; and Elohim rested on [Malkuth] the seventh day from all the work which they had made. And Elohim blessed [Malkuth] the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that on it he had rested from all their work which Elohim created and made.” – Genesis 2: 2, 3

You see, the English word matter is feminine, and in Latin the word mater means “mother.” This is not a coincidence because “In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God.” This is why we find this profound symbolism. When you say and pray, “Our Father who art in Heaven” you have to be concentrated on what you are saying, since that father has different levels.

First, “Our Father” is our own Innermost, our own Spirit, the son of the trinity. That inner Spirit is that part of the Cosmocreator that is placed within our upper Monad in order for the Glorian to develop. That inner Spirit, that Innermost, is called El in Kabbalah and is what the Bible called Abraham. The Innermost is called Atman in Sanskrit. All of us have within their own Abraham. It relates also with Brahma the creator inside of us. As we explained in other lectures, Brahma is the son of Vishnu, the Cosmic Christ, Ptah-Ra in Egyptian words.

Let us go into the symbols that in this day in age are very active.

Another name in Egypt for the Father is Osiris. Many Gnostics commit the mistake of thinking that Osiris is the sephirah Kether. That is wrong. Kether is within Osiris, but Osiris is related to the sephirah Daath. Osiris is an unfoldment of Ptah. In order for Osiris to exist, he needs his Isis. Osiris and Isis are the duality that in Kabbalah we call Abba and Aima, Father and Mother, whom we have to honor. The son of Osiris and Isis is Horus, that is symbolized by the Falcon. It is the light of Ptah-Ra that descends into duality, into manifestation, into the manifested world. Osiris, Isis, and Horus form another trinity. First, in the world of Atziluth there is the trinity called Ptah Ra, but when we call upon Osiris Ra, we are naming the trinity that relates to creation, to the world of Briah.

Thus, within Osiris Ra, we find the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, but in Briah, the world of creation. Within Isis we also find the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

When our rituals were performed in ancient Egypt, we needed a priest and a priestess. The priest is called Osiris, the priestess is called Isis. The soul that is receiving the benefit from Osiris and Isis is called Horus, who is the son of the two. Do you see that trinity? It is not in the world of Atziluth, the first triangle, but down in the sephirah Daath, in the world of Briah, creation. That trinity is an unfoldment; regardless, both trinities hold the same power. One is Ptah-Ra the almighty in the first triangle, and the other is Osiris, Isis, and Horus below. This is why people think and say Osiris is a later deity. They do not understand that Osiris is an unfoldment of Ptah, because Ptah is up there in Atziluth. Therefore, given that Osiris is an enfoldment of Ptah, he is also Ptah, but in a lower manifestation. That is why when we talk about rituals or what in Sanskrit is called Tantra, do not fall into the mistake of what people think during this day in age that tantra is just the sexual act or sexual magic. Tantra is related to any type of ritual where Osiris and Isis are present, meaning the two polarities, the priest and the priestess, because above Osiris and Isis is Father-Mother, while below are the priest and the priestess. Therefore, any ritual where the female aspect is absent is 100 percent ridiculous, because the female is the one that enlightens the fire of the male. That is why in many temples in the internal worlds the one who lights the light of the altar is the nun, the priestess. She is the one that lights the fire (sexually speaking) of the man or priest. This is a sexual symbol.

When the priest and the priestess are performing the ritual, they are performing it upon the cubic stone of Yesod (the H). They represent the two keys of the P (pira, a Latin word that translates as “intense heat”) of PeTeR, or the P of Ptah-Ra. The T of PeTeR or PTah-Ra symbolizes the crossing of the two keys, and the R of PeTeR or PTah-Ra is RA, the solar light. This is why the Gnostic altar (the H) has the symbols of the three letters: P, T, R. The symbol of the three primary forces of PTah-Ra, the solar light of Christ.

Now, there is another symbol that we have to perform on the altar: it is TUM. Behold, when we place the A instead of the T, we pronounce AUM. So as AUM, TUM is also a mantra that brings the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit energy down to where we are situated. That is why this powerful mantra should not be pronounced in vain. This is why it is written:

“Thou shall not take the name of Iod-Havah Elohim in vain; for Iod-Havah will not hold him guiltless that takes his name in vain.” – Exodus 20:7

There are many שמים shemyim, many names, mantras that should not be pronounced in vain, and TUM is one of them. TUM also represents Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I am pronouncing it now because I am talking about it, and by pronouncing it I am bringing the energy of the Father who is in Heaven down here to this physical plane in order for you to understand how that light descends. When we pronounce that mantra, the light immeditately descends. Do not pronounce it in vain; because if you pronounce it as if engaging in play, that is not good. There are people who play with prayers with mantras, and that is not positive.

Behold these three names Ptah, Osiris, and TUM. The three of them are very powerful names, and we should know how to use them.

eye-of-ra

“RA is the Father, the cosmic common universal Father, which is the Abstract Absolute.”

“TUM is the body of the Father.” The body of the Father does not mean a physical body. RA is the Solar Light; Tum is the body of the Father in all of the levels. It means that force is active in all the worlds of Kabbalah. As an archetype in Egypt, the Egyptians symbolize him seated on a throne.

atum

When we say Tum, then all of the energy of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit descends. In Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are the outcome of Ra, the solar light.

“Tum is a terribly divine mantra and must never be pronounced in vain or played with, because our Father who is in secret descends immeditately from where ever He might be.” - Samael Aun Weor

Cleopatra

cleopatraNow let us discuss Cleopatra, the feminine aspect of this subject matter. We talked about the Father but what about the Mother? You find this marvelous archetype also in Egypt. When people talk about Cleopatra, they always remember the Cleopatra who was with Mark Anthony, but they ignore that there were many Cleopatras in Egypt. A Cleopatra is a vestal of the temple. One of those vestals in a temple in Egypt was the one that Mark Anthony met in Egypt and got entangled with. But let us study what Cleopatra means, because they are what we call in this day in age “nuns.” How many nuns do you find in this day in age? Buddhist nuns, Catholic nuns, many nuns. Thus, Cleopatra represents the same symbol.

Cleopatra derives from the Greek name Κλεοπατρα, Κλεος-Πτα (Kleopatra) which means “glory of Ptah, the father” derived from (κλεος - kleos) "glory." This is combined with πατρος, patros, “of the father (Πτα – Ptah)” or Κλεος-Ποτήρ “glory of the cup” (ποτήρ - potēr). The cup, the yoni, the feminine sexual organ, is the Holy Grail. Thus, Kleo-poter is Cleopatra. Do not mistake potēr with Harry Potter. Potēr means cup, chalice, grail, the sexual yoni. When you say Cleopatra, you are indicating the feminine sexual force of God. This is why the Cleopatras were vestals in Egypt.

  • Kleopatra: “keys to the father," from kleis [κλείς] "keys" + patros [πατρος] father
  • Kleopatra, Kleopetra: “Keystone,” from kleis [κλείς] "keys" + petra [πέτρᾳ] "stone"

Thus, Kleopatra symbolizes the keystone, which in the previous lecture the speaker was explaining. The keystone of the temple, the cornerstone of the temple, is a woman.

In Alchemy, in the beginning the color of the stone is black. The charcoal contains the fire within. Alchemically speaking, all of us are black because the female aspect of our sexuality is black. This is why Ptah is black. This is why Osiris is black, and Cleopatra the great vestal, is black; and as well because ancient Egypt which is in Africa, is the land of the black people.

The name Africa comes from Aphrodite, the goddess of love. Aphrodite is the root of the word aphrodisiac, and many other words; she is the goddess of love. This is why Cleopatra is one of those symbols that you find in ancient Egypt.

It is written that the when Master Jesus of Nazareth went to Egypt he entered the path of initiation; it is written: “and I called my son out of Egypt” (Hosea 11:1).

It is also written that Moses came from Egypt.

“And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver [moon], and jewels of gold [sun], and raiment [Malkuth; all of these represent the mystical secret of the Holy Name. Together they are called "Urim and Tumim"]: And Iod-Havah gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled [this knowledge from] the Egyptians.” – Exodus 12: 35, 36

Moses was married to an Ethiopian woman. The Ethiopian woman was black.

“And Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.” – Numbers 12: 1

Symbolically and alchemically, when you start working with your Cleopatra (Kleopetra), or when one starts working with their nun (seed), your priest or priestess is black. This is how you have to understand these symbols internally. In one of the pyramids of Egypt, Jesus practiced sexual magic with a Cleopatra.

I am not stating that all of the vestals, nuns, or Cleopatras of Egypt were of the black race. They were from different races. Yet, the ones from Africa were black. They represent the Heliogabalus stone.

The word Egypt has Greek origins. The word Egypt is rooted in Het-Ka-Ptah. Het-Gy-Pt, Egypt, Egipto.

  • Het: house
  • Ka: soul
  • Ptah: the Father

Thus, Egypt means “The house of the soul of the Father.”

Where is the Het, the house of the Ka, the soul of Ptah, the Father? Het-Ka-Ptah is your physicality. Yes, your physicality is the house of the soul of your inner Ptah. Ptah is the father we have inside, attached to our Ka, our soul, which is formed by all of the archetypes. This is why in Hebrew Egypt is called Mizrahim מצרים, which has the same meaning as the word Eden.

“Even as [Eden] the garden of Iod-Havah, as the earth (Mizrahim מצרים) Egypt, as thou comest unto affliction.” - Genesis 13:10

So, do not think that when the bible mentions (Mizrahim מצרים) Egypt that it is related only to that land in Africa. Esoterically, Kabbalistically, Alchemically, Egypt is our physicality, and Cleopatra is a symbol related with our sexual force, our sexual potency. At the same time, Cleopatra is a symbol related to all those women that enter into the path as initiates. Cleopatra is also a symbol related to any priestess. Any priestess that works with the mysteries that we are teaching here is a Cleopatra. This is what we have to understand related to this mystery. This is why Egyptians made statues of Cleopatra; it was not the one related with Mark Anthony. No, Cleopatra is the symbol of Isis. This is why in Gnostic terms we call the priestess “Isis.” The priest we call merely priest, but as a symbol we can call the priest Osiris. The priest is a symbol of the three primary forces of Daath. The priestess is also the three primary forces of Daath.

The soul within Het-Ka-Ptah in Egypt and in our physicality is Ka, Horus, that needs to be developed. This is how we should see the symbols of ancient Egypt.

In these times people mock the beautiful symbols of Egypt because they do not understand them. They say that Egyptians of the past were worshiping idols; yes, this is what the ignoramuses say. Nevertheless, if we study the esoteric meaning of all the great mysteries of Egypt, then we will understand the meaning of the prayer that Jesus taught in the mountain, because Jesus learned a lot in Egypt. This is why Jesus taught the prayer of Ptah. This is why we say, “Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.” He learned that in Egypt. Moses also learned that, and everything else in Egypt, from Het-Ka-Ptah that was very active and that had many colleges of initiates, which nowadays, is just a shadow of the past.

The Keys of Peter - Ptah

Behold here the symbol of Ptah. In the Gospel of Mathew it is written:

“And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

“And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jonah: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my (Πατρος – Patros) Father (Πτα - Ptah) which is in heaven.

“And I say also unto thee, That thou art (Πέτρος - Petros) Peter, and upon this (Πέτρα - Petra) rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the (κλείς - kleis) keys of (Malkuth) the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” - Matthew 16: 16-19

peter-keys

Do you realize the symbol there? Peter has two ankhs, like Ptah. Ptah and Peter represent the same archetype within us; that is why Ptah and Peter are waiting for us in heaven in order to open the door for us, but the door is in the sephirah Yesod.

People that do not have esoteric knowledge think that when we die, Peter is going to open a way for them to go to heaven. Listen: Peter is Ptah that has the two keys, two alchemical forces that we have to work with. These are the same two keys of Ptah. Behold, their names are not a coincidence. Peter, Ptah-Ra, Petera, and also Cleo-Petera, rock, stone. This is why we find the relationship of Petera, rock with Peter, Ptah-Ra; so, “upon this stone I will build my church.” What stone? Cleopatra.

So, if you are a male (priest) and you want to build your temple within you, you need then a Cleopatra (priestess) because she has the keys of the stone; the keystone is Cleopatra. Likewise, a woman who is a nun, priestess, needs a male, a Pope, a Peter (who was the first Pope); Peter was married. Yes, Peter was married, he was working with his keystone Cleopatra. Peter and Cleopatra represent the stone. The stone carries the forces of heaven inside of us. This is why Peter holds the keys. Is Peter an idol? No! he represents the same archetype that the Egyptians called Ptah, yet, in modern times we call him Peter. Thus, Ra said to Ptah, “And upon this (keystone, namely, Cleo, κλείς-Kleis, Keys Πέτρα - Petra) rock I will build my church.” We have to study what Peter and Cleopatra mean.

Consequently, based on what we already explained, now you will understand what the Prayer of the Lord means. Master Krumm-Heller said the following about the Pater Noster, and Master Samael quoted his statements in the book The Perfect Matrimony:

“Among all of the ritual prayers, the most powerful is the Pater Noster (Prayer of the Lord). This is a magical prayer of immense power.

“Imagination, Inspiration, and Intuition are the three mandatory paths of initiation.”

Master Huiracocha says the following:

“First, it is necessary to see spiritual things (God) internally:

1. Pater [Ptah] noster, qui es in cælis. Our Father [Ftha], who art in heavens.

Why did we write Ftha with F instead of a P? It is because in Latin we do not say Ptah but Ftha with an F because PH is F. This reminds us of the Rune Fa, the Fa-ther; Fa represents the same force. Thus, when you are in meditation on your inner Father and say “Our Father who art in Heaven,” then you see what you need to be concentrated on, because the Father is within all of his enfoldments; visualize that with your intuition, your imagination, in order to see that the Father is indeed a multiple perfect unity within you and within anybody. That is why it is called Elohim. God is gods and goddesses.

Then one must listen to the Word, or the Divine Word:

Sanctificetur nomen Tuum.

Do you see the word TUM in there? Yes, we know that in Latin the word Tuum means “yours.” But, do you think that it is a coincidence that the name of the God TUM of Egypt is written there? Listen, when you say, “Sanctificetur nomen tuum,” the force comes down as the Master Samael explains, namely, when we pronounce TUM, our Father who is in secret descends immeditately from Heaven down to you. That is precisely the magical aspect of pronouncing the Pater Noster in Latin. If you pronounce it in English, it still has a force, but not the force as when you pronounce it in Latin, because when you say, “Sanctificetur nomen tuum,” “Hallowed be thy name,” or as in the other mantric language, Hebrew, as “Yitkedesh Shemkha,” that is also very powerful pronunciation because Hebrew as well as Greek are mantric languages, too.

2. “Hallowed be thy name,”

In other words, the Divine Word, the magnificent name of God, the Creative Word.

Then Master Krumm-Heller said as Master Samael Aun Weor quoted:

Lastly, we prepare our spiritual organism for Intuition:

3. “Thy Kingdom come,” that is to say, with the pronunciation of the Word, the mantras, the internal Kingdom of the holy masters comes to us.

“This trinity is found in the first three supplications of the Pater Noster.

The union with God consists of performing all of these. The rest remains resolved...”

With these three supplications, Krumm Heller states, we ask for an integral request, and if one day we achieve it, we will be Gods already, and therefore we will no longer need to ask. - Samael Aun Weor

So, only the fulfillment of these three supplications is enough. Do you know what Krumm-Heller meant with his statements? He meant to incarnate TUM within you. When TUM, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, are incarnated within you, you are a God in the flesh like Master Jesus, Mohammad, or Moses. When Moses came from Sinai he had the forces within. TUM was within him, just as TUM was within Jesus, Mohammad, Buddha. Nevertheless, in order to incarnate TUM within us, we have to develop the archetypes. This is precisely what we have to do. It is not just by pronouncing this prayer mechanically as they do in the Catholic Church; or as we have seen, the priest says, “go and pray ten Our Fathers and ten Hail Mary’s and then your sins will be forgiven.” That is a very superficial way of doing things.

This prayer has a lot of power, but only if you are working with the sexual energy and working with the archetypes, otherwise, you are just repeating mechanically like a parrot what you do not understand.

The Cup

Let us go into the next supplication of the prayer of the Lord.

Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in cælo, et in terra.

Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

In order to understand this supplication, we have quoted from the Gospels the prayer that Jesus prayed on the mount of Olives. He said:

Tarot 14

“Father, if thou be willing, remove [the κλεος – "glory" of ] this[ποτήρ - potēr] chalice from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.” – Luke 22: 42

"The (white cup represents the cerebral spinal nervous system the vehicle of Netzach and the) higher nature (Chesed and Chokmah that) takes its origin from the right side of the sephirothic tree of life, but the (yellow cup represents the genitalia or Yesod, the) lower (nature of Binah, Geburah and Hod, that takes its origin) from the left side, and is embodied in (Malkuth) the female (sephirah) and (in Yesod) becomes unified in it as it is written: 'God’s left hand (Geburah and Hod) is under (Binah, the left side of) my head and his right hand (Chesed and Netzach) doth embrace me (Malkuth from Tiphereth)' (Song of Solomon 2: 6). Hitherto we have discoursed on a subject, exceedingly esoteric and unknown to ordinary people, but now we will speak more clearly so that every one may comprehend and understand them." On hearing this the student novitiates expressed their great desire to learn more (about the two polarities) of this mystery of sex." - Zohar

Last supper

In the last supper we find two chalices. The one on the right symbolizes the mind of the priest that we have to fill with INRI because the brain is the cup that should be filled with the sexual solar force of Ptah. The one on the left represents the horizontal beam of the cross. It is the Yoni or yellow cup that is in relation with Malkuth, the Queen, the woman. It is in relation with the priest's own particular individual priestess woman, his Cleopatra.

Holygrail

Κλεος-Ποτήρ “glory of the cup” (ποτήρ - potēr) “of the Cup – Yoni – Holy Grail.” Kleopatra, the glory of the Yoni, the glory of the Holy Grail, is the sexual organ of the female.

The priest-initiate has to transmute that sexual force that is hidden in the Ark of the Covenant. This is how the Cohen does the will of his own particular individual God within. If you do not do the will of your Inner God within you, then do your own will thus you are self-willed, and your will turns into fornication. This is what Mark Anthony did with Cleopatra in Egypt. To find a vestal in Egypt to fornicate—that is ludicrous. When you have your wife, your nun, your priestess, the symbol of the beautiful Cleopatra, then with her you transmute the sexual force. This is what Jesus did, what Moses did in Egypt.

Cleopatra is called Aida by Giuseppe Verdi in his great opera. Aida is rooted in Arabic; A, the breath of Aleph; Ida, the female force of the breath of God. Remember the Sanskrit Ida and Pingala. So, Aida is a feminine force that is black in all of us. This is why in that opera Aida is black. If you see the opera Aida, you will see how it beautifully hides the symbols that we are explaining here. To perform the will of God is precisely what we see symbolized in that opera.

So, when Jesus was praying in the mount of Olives he said: “Father if it is possible take this cup of me nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done,” meaning, if it is possible, self-realize me without the woman; I am here to follow your will, not my will, but thine be done. Then the Father said to him: “Go and take your Cleopatra - who is known right now in the physical world as Mary Magdalene – and practice sexual magic with her.” Then Jesus said: “Okay, if that is your will.” Then when he goes with her to perform the sexual act, Judas, who represents sexual desire, arrives to betray him. Thus, he has to fight a lot against his sexual desire. Thus, Judas, Mary Magdalene, Cleopatra are a mixture of symbols that are not only written in the gospels but in many other myths that we study.

Daily Bread

Let us go into the next part of this marvelous prayer.

Bread of Life

“Panem nostrum supersubstantialem da nobis hodie.”

Give us this day our supersubstantial bread.

"Whosoever eats of my flesh, and drinks of my blood, shall have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. Whosoever eats of my flesh, and drinks of my blood, dwells in me, and I in him. - John 6: 54-56”

Master Samael said:

“To know that life is a dream does not mean that we have comprehended it. Comprehension is attained through Self observation and intense work on oneself. Hence, in order to work on oneself, it is indispensable to work on one’s daily life, this very day. Thus, one will comprehend that phrase from the Prayer of the Lord (Pater Noster) which states: “Give us this day our daily bread.”

“The phrase “daily bread” means the “supersubstantial bread” in Greek or the “bread from the Highest.”

“Gnosis gives us this “bread of life” in a double meaning; this is ideas and strength, which allow us to disintegrate our psychological errors.” - Samael Aun Weor

buddha-meditation

When you are meditating as the symbol of Buddha is showing above, you are comprehending and acquiring knowledge, this is how you are eating your daily bread. That is why meditation is the daily bread of the wise. If you want to eat that supersubstantial bread of life, you need to meditate everyday, and to comprehend and annihilate your ego, thus, that bread is light. To do that is not easy. That is why in the next graphic you find the Eucharist.

Eucharist

“Panem nostrum supersubstantialem da nobis hodie.”

Give us this day our supersubstantial bread.

“During the Gnostic ritual, we put ourselves in communication with the world of the Solar Logos, with the Egyptian “Ra,” with Tum. This last word is very important; it has three aspects which represent the three primary forces:

T: The Father [Kether]

U: The Son [Chokmah]

M: The Holy Spirit [Binah]

“This is a powerful mantra. When pronouncing it, the forces of the Logos are attracted towards us. In the instant when the consecration of the bread and wine is performed the Christic Atoms descend and are actually transformed into the flesh and blood of Christ. This is achieved by means of a channel which is open and directly communicates with the Logos through the mantra.

“When we are in a state of ecstasy during the transubstantiation, Christic atoms of high voltage descend and give us light within the darkness. These Christic atoms help us in the battle against the red demons of Seth. Thus, we make light within the darkness.” - Samael Aun Weor

Even though Samael Aun Weor elucidated this, still in this day in age there are certain Gnostic ignoramuses that look at the Eucharist with disdain and do not wittingly study it. Inanely, they think that the ritual of the Eucharist is no good unless it is perform by a Master.

“My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.” – James 3:1

TUM said through the lips of Ra, who is Horus of the Two Horizons, Haroeris, Yeshua:

“I am the way [Eheieh-Kether], and the truth [Chokmah], and the life [Binah]; no one comes to the Father [Ptah], but through me.” - John 14:6

Thus, we need to bring the forces of TUM within us in order to fight against the red demons of Seth; this is what the Master Samael elucidates here.

“Ritual is practical magic. Black magicians mortally hate the Holy Eucharist. Magicians of darkness justify their hatred for the rituals of bread and wine in many different ways. Sometimes they give the gospels the most whimsical interpretations based on their own fancy. Their own subconsciousness betrays them. They try to do away with the Last Supper in any way possible. They hate the Last Supper of the Adorable One. Our disciples must be alert and vigilant for these types of dangerous subjects. Anyone who hates the rituals of the Last Supper is a black magician. Anyone who rejects the bread and wine of the Gnostic Unction rejects the flesh and blood of the Christ. These types of people are black magicians.” – Samael Aun Weor

Again, certain “Gnostics” dimwittedly think that they can fight against the red demons of Seth without the help of these Christic Eucharistic atoms of high voltage from TUM. These ignoramuses disregard the connection of “Ra” the solar light within each one of us. Christ, the Solar Logos, is not submitted to one individual. The Solar Logos is submitted to all the individuals. When we said Christ is within you, we mean at your level. Thus, when you pronounce TUM and do the work, you attract the forces of the the Lord “Ra” in accordance to your level. Moreover, if you are in a communion of souls, performing a ritual in group, that solar force descends with more strength because each one of us is connected to Ra. This is what we have to understand:

Resurrection

“I am [Ra] the [solar] light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” – John 8: 12

Thus, everybody has Ra, God, Christ, TUM within. Do you want to fight against your inner enemies? Well then you need the help of the lord Ra.

The supersubstantial bread, the “bread from the Highest,” is not only meditation, it is also the Eucharist. This is why the two sephiroth Hod and Netzach are even on the Tree of Life; they symbolize the heart and the mind that should be working together. In the Tree of Life they share one horizontal line, Hod, “Glory,” the heart, and Netzach, “Victory,” the mind. Thus, we have to work with heart and brain together. When you are meditating, your mind needs the help of your heart. In order to charge your heart with Christic solar atoms, you have to take the Eucharist. Understand why we do it; do not do it mechanically, but only because we understand what the Eucharist symbolizes. [You can learn how to take the Eucharist in the books Tarot and Kabbalah and The Seven Words by Samael Aun Weor, as well as here: Eucharist: Spiritual Strength Through Blessed Food and Drink].

Now let us continue.

Karma

Et dimitte nobis debita nostra, sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris.

“Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.”

That is karma. You have to work for humanity. We have a lot of debts to pay. People sometimes act against us in a very rude way, but we think, “I am Gnostic, I am doing good things, why are people treating me like garbage?” Why? Because we have a lot of debts; we are not perfect. In past lives, we were doing evil things, so if you want your karma to be forgiven, we have to forgive others in the same way; we have to sacrifice our own sufferings. As the Master Jesus says, return good for bad. Who in this world is doing that? Sadly, we do not forgive those who trespass against us! If someone attacks us, we will punch them. If someone attacks our country, then we will send the same attack against their country. In other words, karma is always turning the Wheel of Samsara. Our trespasses never end, because we are not working for our God, but for our ego, our inner idol.

job-traitors

In this graphic you see Saint Job, who is the one that humbly endures many humiliations in order to be saved when he is tempted by Satan and his adversaries.

In other words, behold how you have to think, feel, and act: like Job. Three are attacking you, yet, Job says, “okay, keep doing it.” Understand, comprehend, that whatever people say against you, is what you deserve, then you forgive those who trespass against you, because no one is a saint or an angel here. We all are fallen. We are trying to go up, but to boast we are holy saints is stupid. No one is holy, only the Angels, yet they are up there and we are down here.

Temptation

“Et ne nos inducas in tentationem.”

“And do not let us yield to temptation...” God never tempts us, but we pray, “please help me not to yield into temptation.” Who is the one that is going to tempt us? It is Satan, our own particular trainer, because everybody has their own. That mentor is Satan, the one who tempts. Read the book of Job in order to understand who Satan is:

“And Jehovah said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that fears God, and avoids evil? and still he holds fast his integrity, although thou moved me against him, to destroy him without cause. And Satan answered Jehovah, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man had will he give for his life. But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face. And Jehovah said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life. So went Satan forth from the presence of Jehovah, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.” – Job 2:3-6

This is why James the apostle says in his Epistle,

“Blessed is the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life [Kether, Chokmah, Binah], which the Lord has promised to them that love him.

“Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempted he any man:

“But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

“Then when lust hath conceived, it brings forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death.” - James 1:12-15

the-temptation-of-saint-anthony

Behold Saint Anthony. Before becoming Saint Anthony, he was tempted. The reason why you find many pictures about the temptation of Saint Anthony is in order to show you that in order to acquire holiness there is a lot of work that you have to do. You have to defeat temptation. The one that puts you under temptation is your own particular Satan, which is inside. There is not one Satan, but there many Satans, as many as there are women and men in the world.

This is why instead of “Lead us not” it should be, “Help us not yield to temptation.”

Jehovah Elohim

“Quia tuum est regnum, potentia et gloria in saecula saeculorum.”

“Because thine is the Kingdom...”

“Thine” refers to Iod-Havah Elohim, the sephirah Binah on top of the column of the left side. The kingdom is the sephirah Malkuth, the bottom of the column of the left side. The left side, as we always state, is always related with physicality. On the left side is the power, the sephirah Geburah, which is the one that tempts us in accordance to our own karma. That is why the prayer ends:

“For thine is the kingdom (Malkuth) and the power (Geburah), and the Glory (Hod), Forever (Netzach) and (the letter Vav hooks Yesod and Tiphereth) everlastingly (the sephirah Chesed, “The mercy [Chesed] of Iod-Havah is from everlasting to everlasting.” – Psalm 103: 17). Amen (TUM).

ptah-prayer

It means what we were explaining previously, that God is not tempted, because thine is the kingdom the power and the glory forever and everlastingly, amen. Jehovah Elohim is Binah on top of the left side. In other translations, instead of the sephirah Hod they say the sephirah Tiphereth. “Thy glory” is also the sephirah Tiphereth, but when we say “help me not to yield into temptation,” it is Tiphereth joined to Yesod who is asking for help, “help me to be against my own evil one.” Who is the evil one? It is our ego. And why are we asking that of Binah Elohim? It is because below Malkuth is Klipoth, where all of my ego is, and Jehovah Elohim has power and glory in the kingdom on the left side. That is what the prayer of the Lord states, and this is what it is.

isis-osiris-horus-sm

In this graphic we find the marvelous symbols of Osiris in the middle, Isis on the right and Horus on the left, the trinity of Daath. We already explained that Osiris and Isis are the priest and priestess, and Horus is the soul (Tiphereth), the one who has to fight against the evil one. In the opera Aida written by Giuseppe Verdi, we hear this great prayer.

“Isis and worshippers: Hail mighty, mighty Ptah!, life-giving spirit of the world, ah! We invoke thee !

“Osiris and worshippers: Thou, who from nothingness didst draw the seas, the earth, the heavens, we invoke thee!

“Isis and worshippers: Hail mighty, mighty Ptah, fruitful spirit of the world, ah! We invoke thee!

“Osiris and worshippers: Hail Numen, who art of they spirit both son and father, we invoke thee!

“Isis and worshippers: Uncreated, eternal flame, which sparked the sun, mighty Ptah, ah! We invoke thee!

“Osiris and worshippers: Life of the Universe, myth of eternal love, we invoke thee!

“Isis and worshippers: Hail mighty Ptah!

[ImmensO FthA]

“Osiris and worshippers: We invoke IAO!

[Noi ti invoch-IAmO!]

In this prayer is hidden IAO, which is God among the Gnostics. The esotericists, all the great masters and magicians, know about this.

“We invoke IAO” is in Italian “Noi ti invoch-IAmO!”

We invoke thee, “Noi ti invochiamo,” is how you say it in Italian, which is a language derived directly from Latin. Invoch-IAmO, you see? We invoke IAO, which is TUM, the three primary forces. Let us keep reading the script.

“Isis and worshippers: Mighty Ptah!

“Osiris and worshippers: We invoke thee!

“Osiris and worshippers to Horus: O youth beloved of the Numina, you hold in trust the destiny of [Het-Ka-Ptah – House of the soul of Ptah] Egypt may the sacred sword, tempered by the Numina, become in your hand blazing terror and death for the enemy.

“Osiris to Ptah: Oh Seity, custodian and avenger of this sacred land, lift thy hand over the land of Egypt.

“Horus: Oh Numen, leader and judge of every earthly battle, protect thou, defend thou the sacred soil of Egypt!

“Osiris, Isis, and Horus: Lift thy hand over the land of Egypt. Oh Numen, custodian and avenger, of this sacred land, lift thy hand over the land of Egypt. Oh mighty Ptah, creator of the world, ah! We invoke thee! Oh mighty Ptah! Oh mighty Ptah!”

This is an extraction of the opera Aida by Giuseppe Verdi, which all of you can see in this video that we are going to show you; this is only part of the opera, so please pay attention and listen. This is part of the lecture, so click on the link at the very bottom of this paragraph.

Questions and Answers

Audience: Can you talk more about why the left side of the Tree of Life is highlighted on the last line on the in the Our Father. It says for thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory it would seem that the whole Tree of Life belongs to Ptah. Why did they specifically talk about the left side?

Instructor: Why specifically do we point to the left side when we say “For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory”?

It is because we ask in the Prayer of the Lord, “help us not to be yield to temptation but rescue us from the evil one.” The evil one emerges from the left, because when we fall Ida, Aida, Eve, falls. That is why we say, “rescue us from the evil one,” the ego. Why do we ask that of Jehovah Elohim? Because the left side is his, namely, the kingdom, the power, and the glory. The father is the Holy Spirit, and the left side belongs to him (Binah), and under him is the power (Geburah). Thus, Binah is not a slave of the left side, but we are slaves of the left side. This is why we ask Him for help. So, when we say that it is because there is a reason. It is not because only the left side of the tree of life belongs to Him, no! The whole Tree of Life belongs to Him, but we particularly address the left because the evil one or what we call the evilness, which is the ego, emerges from the left.

Audience: You mentioned that in using the mantra TUM to be careful with it and not use the Lord’s name in vain. By that do you mean doing the work in combination with it?

Instructor: When you name the word TUM, I am pronouncing it now not in vain, but because I am answering your question, and TUM comes down in order to answer it. All of us are connected with TUM, but if we are going to pronounce that mantra for another reason that is bad. Do it only if you need help, for instance, if you are in danger of dying, danger of death, then concentrate on your Father and pronounce the mantra, thus, your Father comes down and helps you.

As you can see in Latin, the Pater Noster says many times: TUM, TUM, right? “Quia tuum est regnum,” in other words, the power is of TUM and the glory is of TUM, forever and ever. That is why when we pronounce it in Latin, it is more powerful than in English. The prayer has power in English, but when you pronounce it in Latin it is very powerful because the mantra TUM connects you internally with your inner God and TUM brings the force that you need in that moment.

Audience: I have always been confused by “and lead us not into temptation.” I noticed your translation on the screen “and do not let us yield to temptation” if you discuss…

Instructor: When you are asking the Father, “do not lead me into temptation” you imply that the Father is tempting you, right? But if you say “help us to not yield to temptation” then you are saying that the temptation comes from Satan, the tempter. Understand it as “help me to not yield to temptation by comprehending my ego.” God never tempts us, but Satan does, which is the shadow of your God. So, if we say “and lead us not into temptation,” how is God going to lead us into temptation? It is impossible. God wants us to go with him, he is not going to do the opposite. But Satan will do it in order to show to you your defects and vices. This is how we have to understand this beautiful prayer of the Lord.

Audience: People here are stunned and blown away right now.

Instructor: Good because this is precisely what the Prayer of the Lord does. When you study it and go deep down into it, you cry. I was holding my tears here, especially when watching the opera, which is all very clear to me, namely, Osiris and Isis. Isis (the Divine Mother) is the one who is doing the work, while the priest is standing there. Isis is the one that does the work, the one who brings the sword from the fire because the forge is her fire, it is Malkuth. In the opera there are three polarities in action: priest, priestess, and chorus or congregation: the three primary forces. That opera is very esoteric, particularly that prayer in the temple; the whole of it is beautiful. The prayer to Ptah is only one part of it.

Audience: Does that mean that Horus represents the congregation?

Instructor: No, the congregation represents all of the different archetypes. Each one in the congregation is a priest in his own home. Every Isis in the congregation is an Isis in her own home. In every temple there is one priest and one Isis officiating. The Isis who is dancing in the opera is the one who is doing the work in the temple. The priest represents Osiris. Horus represents your soul, the one who receives the sword. Tiphereth has to fight against the enemy, which is inside. Horus is Tiphereth that has RA incarnated. There is a marvelous statement here. He receives the sword to fight the enemy. The enemy is within. In the opera, you will see that the enemy is the king of Ethiopia, but that is a symbol you have to understand. Just like the Bible in exodus that points to the Egyptians as the enemy. This is something we have to understand, to not take it literally. Remember that alchemically in the beginning Aida is black; Cleopatra is black, and then turns into white, then into yellow, and then finally into red.

Ptah
