“The Vision of Ezekiel” painted by Raphael imagines the four holy creatures mentioned in the Bible, which in Kabbalah are called “Chaioth Ha Kadosh.” These holy creatures are the Eagle, the winged Bull, the winged Lion, and the Angel, which is the man into the image of God.

vision-of-ezekiel-raphael

In Kabbalah, we name them when pronouncing Invocation of Solomon, a special invocation that activates the forces of the Tree of Life in our body, mind, soul, and spirit. One part of this Kabbalistic invocation states:

Chaioth Ha Kadosh, cry, speak, roar, below! Kadosh, Kadosh, Kadosh!

The Hebrew word Kadosh means “holy” or “sacred.” Kadosh, Kadosh, Kadosh relates to the first triangle of the Tree of Life, constituted by the sephiroth Kether, Chokmah, Binah. Thereafter we say,

Shaddai, Adonai, Iod-Chavah, Eheieh Asher Eheieh.

You can read this invocation or hear its pronunciation here: Invocation of Solomon.

kabbalah-the-tree-of-lifeKabbalistically, this phrase of names is related with the middle column, the middle pillar of the Tree of Life, which is formed by Malkuth, Yesod, Tiphereth, and Kether. In the world of Atziluth (the first of the Four Worlds), Shaddai is the name of God in Yesod. Adonai is the name of God in Malkuth. Iod-Chavah is the name of God in Tiphereth. Eheieh Asher Eheieh is the name of God in Kether.

These are the words of the last part of Solomon’s invocation. Through it we are uniting in the spinal medulla - the Tree of Life - all the forces of God in order for us to perform any magical work that we want to perform. This is why we pronounce “Shaddai, Adonai, Iod-Chavah, Eheieh Asher Eheieh” when coming from the very bottom of the Tree of Life up to the top which is the crown chakra, which is related with Kether, who is always symbolized as a force as an energy that floats, or that hovers in the top of the head, and which is related with the mantra Jah. This is why next we pronounce Hallelu-Jah, Hallelu-Jah, Hallelu-Jah, because Jah which is Kether relates to the three primary forces Kether, Chokmah, Binah, which are always one, yet are related to our three brains. The three brains are related with our head, heart, and sex, and we have to concentrate in them we are pronouncing this invocation, in order to bring from above the three primary forces, especially when we say Hallelu-Jah three times.

Finally we say, “Amen, amen, amen,” always three times; these are related to the three Amens, which are Kether, Chokmah, and Binah.

We are addressing the physical body in order for us to understand how these four living creatures mentioned in the book of Ezekiel are related with ourselves, with our physicality, mind, soul, and spirit. In the head (which relates to the central nervous system, which is the medulla and the brain) there are four living creatures. The brain and the spinal medulla are the throne of the Innermost, represented by the sephirah Chesed which in Hebrew means “mercy.” The origin of our Innermost is Kether, the head of the three primary forces. The Innermost is Chesed, and his throne is located in the brain and spinal medulla within any initiate; yet in the brain the forces of the first triangle (Kether, Chokmah, Binah / Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) surround the medulla and the brain.

Notwithstanding, Chaioth Ha Kadosh, the four living creatures, are also in the head as sight, hearing, smell, and speech.

Sight is represented by the Lion, which is related with Chokmah on the right side of the Tree of Life.

Hearing is represented by the Ox, the winged Bull, related with Binah on the left side of the Tree of Life.

On the top, floating above, is the mercy of mercies, Kether, the Father (Aleph, the wind); thus, smell is related to the nose, and is the Eagle, which relates to the sephirah Tiphereth. The nose, the eagle relates to Tiphereth that connects to Kether (Aleph, the wind) through the center pillar of the Tree of Life. Above Tiphereth are the Lion (right pillar) and the Bull (left pillar).

The Man is in Yesod and Malkuth. Malkuth (the physical body) is the inferior part of Yesod, the vital body, the superior part of the physical body. The man of Yesod / Malkuth is related to the mouth, speech. The man of Yesod / Malkuth is attached to the mouth, speech through Tiphereth. This is why when reciting Solomon’s invocation we say,

Cry, speak, roar, bellow!

Speak belongs to the man, cry to the eagle, roar to the lion, bellow to the ox, or the bull. When we are reciting this invocation, our concentration most be in our head, which is where we find these forces, because the cerebrospinal nervous system or central nervous system is the connection (letter Vav) of the Tree of Life in the physical body to the forces of the Tree of Life of the macrocosmos.

In the head, in the middle pillar, in the mouth, is the man, speech, which is connected to the sephirah Daath (the throat). This is why the Adam that emerges from Yesod/Malkuth is directly connected to the mouth through the throat (Daath) and to the eagle, which is Tiphereth, which is also in the middle pillar and that is related with the sense of smell.

Below Daath and the first triangle are the seven lower Sephiroth which are: Chesed, Geburah, Tiphereth, Netzach, Hod, Yesod, and Malkuth. These form the body of Adam. When we talk about Adam made into the image of God, we refer to the seven lower Sephiroth, which form Adam’s body.

The seven lower Sephiroth form the body of Adam, but this happens when by means of initiation the consciousness (Buddhata, the essence, the consciousness, our soul) in Malkuth (the physical body) climbs to the spinal medulla (central nervous system) to the word of God in Daath. The soul which resides in Malkuth has to climb the Tree of Life - through the spinal medulla - to Daath, because in Daath is the word of God, where the man of Ezekiel is - that is, speech, related with the mouth. So in order to speak the word of God, we have to raise the forces of the physical body from Yesod - which is the sexual force, the root of Daath, which in the Bible is called the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.

When we talk about the two trees of Genesis - the Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil - we always state that these trees share their roots, but we have to visualize how: as always, we have refer to the hieroglyphic of the Tree of Life, which relates to the spinal medulla.

daath-bodyThe Tree of Knowledge (Daath) in the hieroglyphic is also in the middle, which relates to our spinal medulla as well. So, the roots of the Tree of Knowledge are in Yesod and the top of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil is the Sephirah Daath which is at the level of the throat. Through Daath, which is the Tree of Knowledge, is how God creates above; Daath is knowledge, Gnosis. Remember that it is written that in the beginning God created with the word: "And God said let there be light and there was light."

Nevertheless, here below in Yesod-Malkuth - the roots of the Tree of Knowledge and the Tree of Life - we also create with the sexual energy, yet through the genitalia in the sexual act. This is how we have to comprehend and understand the creative forces of God in the two tress: Daath and Kabbalah (Tree of Life).

Samael and the Tribe of Dan

The angel Samael is related with the sign of Aries, the sign that rules the head. Samael also rules the sign of Scorpio, which is in Yesod, the sexual organs (root of the Tree of Knowledge and Tree of Life). Since we are talking about the advent of Samael, we have to understand that we are talking about the advent of the power of God, about how the creative energy of the three primary forces above (the head, Aries) comes down to the sexual organs (Scorpio) in order for creation to exist.

The Zohar mentions Samael many times because Samael relates to the Ox. As we mentioned the Ox or the winged Bull relates to the vision of Ezekiel.

Ezekiel says that the feet of the creature that he sees in his vision has legs and feet of a calf and that has six wings; these relate to the creatures that are around the Ancient of Days, which is the Mercy of Mercies, our inner God.

Remember that we also said that the winged bull relates to the Sephirah Binah, which is the Holy Spirit, thus this bull is the creative force of Binah that descends through the Sephirah Geburah. The Holy Spirit Binah controls the Sephirah Yesod. So from Binah descends that creative force into Yesod which is the sexual organs.

When we study The Zohar we also discover that among the twelve tribes of Israel, there is one tribe called the tribe of Dan. Dan means judgment in Hebrew. Dan relates with a prophet, Daniel, whose names means “God is my judge.”

All the tribes relate to the different Sephiroth when they are in activity. The twelve tribes of Israel are twelve archetypes or spiritual elements that we have to develop, so Dan is one of them.

In the book of Genesis, when Jacob (the Bodhisattva of the great angel Israel) is blessing his children (the twelve tribes) he addresses Dan, the tribe related to the sephirah Geburah, and related - The Zohar says - with the Ox, the winged bull. Jacob the bodhisattva of Israel said:

Dan [דן] shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel. Dan shall be a serpent (Nachash) by the way, a viper (a Sephaphim, which another way to say fiery serpent in Hebrew) in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward. I have waited for thy Yeshua [ישועה], Iod, Hei, Vav, Hei [יהוה]. - Genesis 49: 16-18

What is literally written in Hebrew: “I have waited for thy Yeshua,” is in other words when translated into English: “I was waiting for your savior, Iod-He-Vav-He (who is Chokmah).”

So as you read here, the blessing to the tribe of Dan, the child of Jacob, is pointing directly to the serpent. It literally says:

Dan shall be a serpent [נחש] by the way, a viper [שפיפן] in the path that bites the heels of the horse so the rider shall fall backwards.

So when we read this verse we associate Dan with - as it is obvious - judgment, since “Dan [דן] shall judge [דין] his people” and judgment is related with the Sephirah Geburah.

In the world of Briah (the world of creation) Geburah is ruled by Samael.

Samael is the Logos called “the judgment of God.” In Revelation 19:11 he is called:

Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

In Revelation 19:13:

...he who is clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

Samael is the Logos (Word) that relates to the higher forces of Geburah.

Dan is related with the Ox, and descends from the sephirah Binah through the sephirah Geburah into the sephirah Hod.

Hod is the fire in the human organism. Hod and Netzach in the human being relate to the thighs. Hod and Netzach also relate to the kidneys. The kidneys are the glands where we find the astral light that descends into Yesod (sex) in order for us to have sexual strength, which is called Aun [און] in Hebrew; so this is how - we have to understand - the forces of creation descend in our body through the Tree of Life.

Above in Geburah (the left column) we have the forces ruled by Samael that descend from Aries. Samael also relates to the winged bull because above in the head the winged bull is also related to Binah the Holy Spirit that through the left column relates to Geburah which is Samael, and to Dan which is Hod.

The tribe of Dan is the power of the kidneys, the power of the liver, and the forces of the brain. The tribe of Dan is an archetype related with the serpent. This is very clear in the book of Genesis it says:

Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel. Dan shall be a serpent (Nachash) by the way.

This is why when you read the book of Genesis and Exodus and the rest of the Bible you find that Dan somehow is excluded from the twelve. I.e. when the writer of the book of Revelation names the twelve tribes of Israel, instead of Dan, he names Manases, who is one of the sons of Joseph. Joseph had two children, Ephraim and Manases. Manases takes the place of Dan. If you do not know alchemy you will think that this exchange is just - as people think - related to history, about superficial things that they do not understand. Dan is the force of the serpent descending from Geburah down into Yesod and that should be transformed into Manases. This is an alchemical transformation of the animal forces related with the Ox from that vision of the creatures of Ezekiel:

And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the color of burnished brass. – Ezekiel 1: 7

The calf’s foot is Kabbalistically pointing at Malkuth, the physical body. This is why the devil is always symbolized with hooves, because the devil with calf's feet symbolizes the sexual potency, the sexual energy in us. Sexual force is represented by the symbol of the cloven foot of the devil.

The Ox from Binah, Geburah, and Hod is transformed when it descends into Yesod and thus becomes the devil’s foot, it becomes the serpent. How does the force of the Ox, of Binah, the force of Samael Geburah and the tribe of Dan, become a serpent? It is transformed into a serpent because it is energy, it is not a person. It is an energy that descends from Binah to Geburah and that we gather from Hod, from the atmosphere - as we explained in other lectures that through the chakra of the liver and through the chakra of the spleen - which symbolize the lower forces of Netzach and Hod - we absorb the energy of the environment. Remember that the blood is created thanks to the liver and to the spleen; this is the blood that relates to the kingdom of Edom that the Bible talks about, which is the kingdom of the blood. Dom is blood in Hebrew which circulates in the body, the whole body.

The creative force of God that descends from Binah into Geburah descends into Hod and Netzach and as blood circulates in the body, and in the end expresses itself through the sexual organ which in this case is the devil’s foot that we have to tame, the devil that we have to conquer. It is the devil that tempts us. This is the mystery of Baphomet, the sexual transmutation that is cryptically written in different parts of the Bible and that we have to understand.

Esau and Jacob

In other lectures we explained that when Jacob (the Bodhisattva of the Archangel Israel) is returning with his four wives in order to meet Esau his brother, Jacob is afraid of Esau because Jacob stole from Esau the blessings of his father Isaac and he doesn’t know what Esau is going to do. Esau represents the animal forces that come from Isaac-Geburah, from the Ox, into the liver. All the forces of Esau - the liver - that come from Isaac-Geburah are stored in the blood of the body and control the body.

archetypes-and-anatomy

And when Rebecca’s days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb. And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.

And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents. And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebecca loved Jacob. And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint: And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom. And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright. And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me? And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright. - Genesis 25: 24-26

So when Jacob - who represents the forces of the heart - wants to meet Esau, he is afraid.

And Jacob said, O God (Aleph, the Wind) of my father Abraham (right lung), and God of my father Isaac (left lung)… Deliver me (the purified blood), I pray thee (great wind), from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau (the impure blood of the liver): for I fear him, lest he will come and smite me (the heart). - Genesis 32: 9-11

Where do you think Jacob and Esau meet? They meet in Yesod, in the sexual force, because Jacob represents the heart (Tiphereth) which through the nose (smell) brings the spirit (the wind, Ruach) of the lungs which is God ‘El’, in order to purify Esau the blood from the liver; thereafter from the heart the blood goes again into the body as purified blood and into the sexual organs. Thus, Jacob is united with the Spirit of the lungs which is the breath of God. The breath of God (Aleph) enters through the nose when we breathe. Remember that the sense of smell is Tiphereth. So the sense of smell Tiphereth (the soul) breathes and takes the breath of God into the lungs and purifies the blood in the heart; the heart is also Tiphereth, which is Jacob. Thus, Jacob as purified blood descends from the heart into the sexual organs. But Esau the forces of the liver, which is impure blood, also go into the sexual organs; and the most powerful forces between Jacob and Esau are the animal forces of Esau.

Esau is the father of all this humanity because Esau represents the animal forces of the liver.

Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field...

Esau acts through the forces of Samael in the body of any animal. The forces of Samael, when coming down into the animal kingdom, gives forces of creation to the horses, bulls, lions, to all those animals that we find in the kingdom and unto us also, the intellectual animals. We receive the strength of Samael. That strength in the body is named Esau, from which the heart (Jacob) took the blessings of Isaac (who is Geburah in the Tree of Life) through the blood.

So Jacob is going to meet Esau, and Jacob is afraid and says, “I stole Esau’s blessings; maybe he will kill me.” So then Jacob sends gifts to Esau his brother.

And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled an angel with him until the breaking of the day. And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved. And as he passed over Penuel the sun rose upon him, and he halted upon his thigh. - Genesis 32: 24 31

So, when he is left alone, an angel appears and fights with him. This is what is written in the book of Genesis.

Samael-Archangel-and-Jacob

Who is this angel that fights with him? This angel is Samael. Samael is the angel that gives strength to Esau in the body. Yet Jacob wants to serve God (Kether, the great wind) in the sexual act. He is left alone in the field - as is written in the Bible - this field is Yesod (sex), the sexual organ. In Yesod (Scorpio) he meets and finds the forces of Samael (which in the body are Esau) and he fights with him.

Jacob fighting with Esau is the same thing as fighting with Samael. In that fight, the liver-blood-forces of Samael through Esau want to reach the orgasm, the spasm of the animals, but the blood from the heart, Jacob as an initiate wants to steal the fire from the devil, which is Esau. Thus, during that fight the angel Samael through Esau feels himself defeated and thus he touches the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him; Jacob’s leg or “Jacob's thigh” points to his sexual organs. Thereafter, Jacob's thigh was out of joint, and he halted upon his thigh, in other words it is out of joint. After that Jacob is limping.

What did the angel Samael take from Jacob so that he limped? He took the power of Esau from him, because he was fighting with him. That power is the power of creation. In other words he took from him the creative animal power, thus Jacob was left only with the spiritual power of sex; that spiritual power is given when Samael blesses him.

And Jacob said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

Samael through Esau (the blood from the liver) fought against Jacob (the blood from the heart).  That fight is in the very sexual act of the man and woman.

Esau is the animal power in the blood. This is what we call Behemoth, which is the problem that all the students and all people have when they enter into the Gnostic path; it is precisely the orgasm, that bestiality that we have within that expresses through the physical body, through the animal mind. Sometimes students before going to bed pray, and nonetheless they have nocturnal pollutions because the body (Esau) is very strong and does not care about God’s birthright.  Esau despises it, he wants to fulfill desire. Esau is a hunter that wants pleasure, the animal way. Jacob defeats him through the heart.

And Jacob asked [him], and said, Tell [me], I pray thee, thy name.

In the Bible the name of the angel is not given, but The Zohar says that angel is Samael. Samael answers,

Wherefore [is] it [that] thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.

To receive the blessing of Samael, which is the power of Geburah in the very sexual act, is the most wonderful thing that you can ever receive, because then the energy instead of going out from the body as in any animal, goes up through the spinal medulla. Samael in Yesod-Scorpio is Shaddai-El-Chai (the almighty power of the living God). Thus, when in Solomon’s invocation we say, “Shaddai Adonai Iod-Hei-Vav-Hei, Eheieh Asher Eheieh,” the energy goes from Yesod up to Kether through the spine. Then we have defeated Esau, the forces of the animal, and obtained the blessing of Samael. This is what we have to understand and comprehend in relation with this Biblical myth of Jacob and Esau.

This is why Jacob called the name of the place of the fight Peniel. Peniel relates to the pine tree, which grows straight and is related with Saturn, the forces of the Holy Spirit. In winter, the pine is always green. The pine is related with the mind, so when you have that Peniel, the forces of the pine in your hand, this means that you have control over Esau, your animal mind, and you tamed it. Peniel is also related with the pineal gland, which is in the middle of the brain; the forces of the Holy Spirit are in the pineal gland, in the Peniel. Thus, in the very moment when he was fighting, Jacob was taking the forces of sex, the sexual forces of Yesod, through the spinal medulla to the pineal gland (the crown chakra). This is called sexual transmutation or sexual transformation.

This is how you comprehend - physically speaking - what the advent of Samael is in anyone of us. Samael is a great archangel, a great Logos who rules the head in Aries and the sexual organs in Scorpio. This is why this archangel is very well known in Kabbalah, because any initiate who wants to enter into the path towards Chesed, towards Kether, the mercy of mercies, towards God, has to fight with Samael. If you do not defeat Samael in the sexual act, you cannot enter initiation. To enter initiation you have to receive his blessings. Now you understand why when we talk about Samael we talk about the forces of creation from God.

The book of Revelation states in Chapter 5:1:

And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

If you read this literally and do not know anything about Alchemy and Kabbalah, you just keep reading and might say, “Oh yes the one seated there on the throne is of course God.” But you have to understand that the one who is seated on the throne – which is the central nervous system, the brain, and the medulla - is your own God. So when you fight against the forces of Esau in sex, which are your own animal forces, and transmute this energy and sublimate it, you receive the blessings of Samael, and then your God, your own inner mercy, which is represented in Ezekiel’s vision as the Elder of Days, sits in your spinal medulla and in your brain. Of course, to seat God there in your brain and your spinal medulla implies a long process.

Understand: it is not just by believing in the Bible that God will sit in your brain and your spinal medulla. What you have to do is to raise this godly creative energy. You have to create the four creatures that sustain him, and that you see in this Ezekiel’s symbol. These four creatures are Chaioth Ha Kadosh, the holy animals. They are holy because they are servants of God. They also symbolize the physical body, the vital body, the astral body, the mental body, and the causal body. Remember that when we said physical and vital we are naming one, because they form one body.

When we have created Chaioth Ha Kadosh then God sits on his throne; God is then ready to go ahead in his initiation. Here is when we read in Revelation: “and I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne.” He that sat on the throne is Chesed, the Innermost, our own Spirit, since at this level of initiation we have advanced to that point.

“A book written within and on the back side.” That book is the man, written within, means inside us, not outside; inside is the consciousness. ‘And on the backside,’ what is on the backside? The spinal medulla is on the backside. The Tree of Life is on our backside, and as we said the creative energy has to rise there.

“Sealed with seven seals.” The seven seals represent the true man: Malkuth, Yesod, Hod, Netzach, Tiphereth, Geburah, and Chesed; those are the seven seals. Within them is the wisdom that we have to develop. This is after we triumph against Esau in the seven levels.

And I saw a strong angel, proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book and to loose the seals thereof? And no man in Heaven nor in the Earth, (You see Heaven, Daath, nor in the Earth, Malkuth) neither under the Earth, (Klipoth, hell in other words, the inferno) was able to open the book neither to look thereon and I wept much because no man was found worthy to open and read the book neither to look thereon. And one of the Elders said unto me…

There are 24 elders in the head, because the head is the heaven of the body. So in the head of the body, in heaven, is one of the 24 elders. There are two elders for every zodiacal sign; in other words, two elders for every tribe of Israel. In other lectures we explain that these twelve tribes of Israel are related with the Sephirah Chokmah, which is in the right column of the Tree of Life. There is where they are, in the Sephirah Chokmah, which is Ezekiel’s Lion as we explained in the beginning. The Sephirah Chokmah is the Lion of Heaven, called the Lion of Judah because Judah is this area of the head, alchemically speaking. So one of the Elders means one of the archetypes of Chokmah said,

Weep not, behold the Lion of the tribe of Judah …

The Lion of the tribe of Judah is Chokmah, who in this verse means that area of the cosmos - Chokmah of Briah - in the Tree of Life; in Briah in the Tribe of Judah we find all of those Monads, those Spirits that are Self-realized, which are vehicles of God from Atziluth. Among the seven hierarchies there is a great rank of individuals that relate to the creative forces of God in Briah, which are the seven spirits which are before the throne. The throne of God is also the spinal medulla. Who are those seven spirits? They are the seven archangels of the world of Briah: Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Michael, Samael, Zahariel, and Orifiel. They are the seven spirits before the throne of God. Above and below. Above in the Macrocosmos and below here in our own particular Microcosmos.

...behold the Lion of Judah the root of David, hath prevailed to open the book and loosed the seven seals thereof.

This means that at that height the initiate is ready to receive the help of Chokmah-Christ.

And I beheld and lo in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts…

You see in the midst of the throne is the spinal medulla, the middle column of the Tree of Life, and in the midst of the four holy creatures in the head. I told you that the four holy creatures are the Lion (sight), the Ox (hearing), the eagle (smell), and the man (speech). So when you read “around the mist of the holy creatures” it is in heaven, in the head of that initiate.

The Lamb and the Ram

And in the midst of the Elders (which we already know are related with the Zodiacal signs) stood a lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes which are the seven spirits of God sent forth into the whole Earth.

He saw a lamb from the tribe of Judah. A lamb is a baby ram. The ram is a symbol of Aries in the head. The responsibility of this Aryan race or fifth root race that populates the continents in the world is upon Samael, because he is the fifth Archangel, who in Aries rules in the head. Samael in Chokmah is the ram from the tribe of Judah that comes out in order to work, in order to do what he has to do.

Revelation says “a lamb” because when that force descends from Chokmah into us through initiation, it is no longer a ram but a lamb. A ram is in the head. A lamb is in the heart. He suffers a transformation in order to sacrifice himself for us. So Samael the ram becomes a lamb in your heart. This is how it happened with Jacob when he fought with him. He received Samael the ram as a lamb in the heart, but from above. This is the advent, the decent of the forces of Samael in the body, in the mind, in the soul, and in the spirit.

But this Lamb – as is written in revelation - has seven horns and seven eyes. The seven horns of the lamb symbolize the seven bodies of the man, and the seven eyes symbolize the seven chakras, the seven churches, which are seven magnetic centers in the spinal medulla.

tree-of-life-bodiesThe Lamb has seven rays, or in other words the Lamb expresses through seven bodies: Malkuth, Yesod, Hod, Netzach, Tiphereth, Geburah, Chesed. These are the physical body, vital body, emotional body, mental body, body of willpower, the consciousness, and the spirit, the true man; those are the seven horns.

The seven eyes are the seven chakras or the seven churches which are related to the seven glands connected to the spinal medulla, microcosmically speaking; because there are seven horns and seven churches or seven eyes of the lamb macrocosmically, which are the seven mighty rays and seven temples in heaven related with them, but who are related with the body of the initiate.

Sequentially, “and the lamb came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.” This is your own particular Son of Man. He takes the book; that book is the man created in the image of God: the seven bodies. That book we will say has seven pages. Chokmah (in other words Christ) takes the book from the hand in order to do what we have to do: to read, to develop the powers of the twelve archetypes within the body.

The Revelation of Christ

Remember, Christ is not a person but an energy, and expresses itself in different levels:

The Ain Soph Aur, which is the uncreated light, is the higher level.

In the world of Atziluth in the first triangle (Kether, Chokmah, Binah) Christ is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Below, in the world of Briah (the world of creation) Christ is Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Michael, Samael, Zachariel, and Orifiel.

Further below, Christ is twelve; the twelve archetypes or the twelve tribes of Israel that descend from above from Chokmah into the physical body.

All of that is Christ. Notwithstanding, here we are naming Samael, the fifth Logos, because this root race is his responsibility, and the advent of Samael relates to the advent of Christ.

If you know the rest in the book of Revelation, the lamb takes all the seals and unveils all the mysteries, which is what Samael Aun Weor did through his books. Yet one thing is to know the mysteries through his books when we read them, and another when we develop the mysteries in ourselves. When we read the books of Samael Aun Weor - i.e. The Pistis Sophia Unveiled was the last one - all those books are full of wisdom, knowledge, and are beautiful; we enjoy we diving there and swimming in that doctrine, but that is the explanation that we are reading. It is something else to do it.

As Samael says in The Pistis Sophia Unveiled when referring to the forces of Christ, which are not one but many, he said:

We Samael Aun Weor, tell ye, in the name of the first mystery of Pistis Sophia and the Savior of the world that I will unveil the remaining part of the Gnostic Bible in the half of the half of the time.

Samael will unveil the rest of The Pistis Sophia. That book written by the apostles of Master Jesus is a collection of books of Kabbalah. Samael only unveiled two books, yet the whole Gnostic bible is made of six books. Samael said “I will unveil the rest at the half of the half of the time.” Well, listen: in synthesis, the half of the half of the time relates to what we are explaining here. When we reach the half of the half of the time, Samael will unveil the rest, meaning that Pistis Sophia will no longer be a doctrine in your head or in books, but within your consciousness, because you are a book. We are a book, and we need to read what is written within this book with seven bodies. So we have to wait for Samael’s advent. Then he will take the seals of the seven pages of your book and explain Pistis Sophia to you through initiation. Then at that moment we will receive the advent of Samael, and Samael will start explaining Pistis Sophia unto you within your own consciousness, within your own spirit, within your own mind, within your own body, within your own intellect, all the mysteries of his advent, in other words, his blessings.  This is why it is written:

Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; and hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. - Revelation 5: 9, 10

“And the lamb hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred.” Always when we name the sacrificed lamb, somehow the blood is related with it. Esau represents the kingdom of Edom, in other words, the kingdom of Dom [דם], blood in Hebrew. The sacrifice of the lamb is done in order to acquire the blood, the Christic fire, the Christic force, so that it can redeem us to God. This sacrifice is a process of Venustic Initiatic transformation that we have to perform. This is why it is written that the lamb has made us unto our God kings and priests and we shall reign on the Earth. The Earth is the physical body. This means that we have to completely exercise control over it, to acquire control of all of our senses in the physical body, the Earth, in order to become real Prophets.

And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts (of Ezekiel) and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever. - Revelation 5: 11-14

If you keep reading that chapter, it says that every time the lamb opens a seal there is a great wonder in heaven, and the four holy creatures say “Amen, amen, amen,” three times, which is related with the three primary forces. Chaioth Ha Kadosh, the four holy creatures, are related to the four inferior bodies that we have to develop and which are connected to the brain. Every time a Venustic Initiation happens inside of you, you acquire and develop wisdom. When you say Amen physically, when you say Amen emotionally and when you say Amen in your mind, because you have three brains, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen. Amen. Amen. The three brains are the head, the heart, and the sex. You have to give the three brains to your God. This is a process that is done through the advent of Samael in different levels.

Everybody talks about one of the chapters of Revelation associated with the second coming of Christ. When we the Gnostics read this chapter, we explain it. Let us read it very carefully.

We understand very well that the Logos or the Archangel responsible for this root race in which we live now is Samael because Samael is the fifth of the seven. This is why the book of Revelation John the divine explains very well how Samael comes into the Earth.

revelation-soaked-in-blood

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. - Revelation 19: 11-16

To see the heaven open is to put into activity the chakra Sahasrara (at the top of the head) with the creative forces of Yesod as we already explained. When you pronounce the mantra “Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah,” it opens the pineal gland through initiation “and (you then) behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.”

ares-god-of-warWe already explained that judgment is related to Geburah, Dan. The tribe of Dan is judgment, and Samael-Mars in Greek and Roman mythology is the God of war. Likewise in the Jewish book The Zohar it is explained that Samael is the ruler of ‘Madim’ [מאדים] which is the Hebrew word for Mars. Samael works in the animal kingdom through war, and through killing, because Geburah is related with blood. I.e. thanks to the forces of Samael the lion persecutes the deer in order to be fed, and to multiply thanks to the forces of Yesod-Samael-Scorpio in the animal kingdom. Esau is also a hunter, but Jacob is different. Jacob defeats Esau; Jacob does not hunt animals like Esau. Jacob says “I have to fulfill the fifth commandment” which is related to Geburah, which says, “Thou shall not kill.” Jacob wants to be a human being. Jacob also fulfills the six commandment of God that says, “Thou shall not fornicate,” because any animal fornicates, meaning, reaches the orgasm, the spasm, in order to be multiplied, since it is an animal. But the human being (Jacob) says “I shall not fornicate, I shall not eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil,” and this is how he defeats Esau-Samael in the liver and advances in initiation.

This is why Revelation says that the Archangel Samael is faithful and true. It all depends upon the level in which you work with Samael. In the animal kingdom, Samael is faithful and true; he accomplishes with the forces of Binah, which in Kabbalah is Jehovah Elohim, translated as “the Lord God” in the Bible.

His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns.

On his head means - in the sign of Aries - were many crowns. Crown in Hebrew is Kether, meaning many Elders of days; because in heaven Samael is the head of the ray of power. He commands many angels, legions of angels. This is why in the heaven of Aries Samael has many crowns, many angels.

And he had a name written that no man knew but he himself.

“Samael Aun Weor” is Hebrew: סמאל און ואור. The spelling of Samael is the letters סמאל: Samech, Mem, Aleph, Lamed. Samech means support. Mem means water. Aleph means breath. Lamed means to teach. Therefore, Samael means “to hold up in the waters the teachings of the breath of God.” Aleph, the breath of God, becomes Aun (און Aleph, Vav, Nun) virility in the Nun (sperm) of Yesod and Light (ואור ve Aur: Weor) in the Vav, the spinal medulla.

And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood...

Samael’s force in the physical body is in the blood. Samael controls the forces of Esau in the liver. Through the blood he blesses Jacob. Yes, through the blood, because Jacob is the heart and Esau is the liver. Both relate with the blood. So, the fiery energy, the forces of Samael in the physical body, work in the blood. So the vesture of Samael in our body is our blood. Through the blood, Samael works, whether down or up depends on how we utilize our sexual energy, as already explained when Jacob is fighting with him.

And his name is called the word of God (the Logos of the God-Mars). And the armies which where in Heaven follow him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

We already explained that Samael is the head of the ray of power. This is why Samael has many crowns, many angels in Heaven who follow him “upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.” This means chastity. This means that those monads or Spirits which are in heaven who Samael commands are individuals who are in chastity, who are chaste. They are not animals, because they do not fornicate. This is why it is stated that they ride like him on white horses. The white horse is a representation of matter, and the mind as well. It is white because they are controlling the forces of sex. If that horse is black, it is because we are slaves of the forces of sex. Light is white and black is darkness.

And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations.

A sharp sword goes out of his mouth, why? Because in the throat is Daath, knowledge, the doctrine, the knowledge of good and evil. Remember that the throat is Daath, and the doctrine of Samael is the doctrine of the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil. The sharp sword that protrudes out of his mouth is his tongue, the power of the word. The Kabbalistic meaning is the forces of the double sharp sword that hurt when we understand the knowledge.

The fifth chakra is Vishuddha; it relates to the ethereal force in the throat that gives us power to teach and power to understand the word of God. This is why his name was the Word of God. When you develop the chakra Vishuddha in your throat you then understand the Word of God. Remember that the true man is connected to God through the speech. The man is the speech. If you connect your mouth to your throat which is Daath, knowledge, through chastity, you then understand the word written in any book, the Word of God. This fifth chakra is in the power of Samael. Samael states in many of his books that the thyroid gland is controlled by two forces: Venus and Mars. Venus and Mars in Yesod, and also up here in Daath; Venus and Mars are also in the pituitary gland.

And he shall rule them with a rod of iron.

Iron symbolizes willpower and is related to Geburah.

And he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

“Almighty God” is El Shaddai in Hebrew. El-Shaddai the almighty God is in Yesod. Samael treads the wine press of the fierceness and wrath of El Shaddai. This is the sexual power, because when we ate from the fruit through the sexual orgasm, the wrath, the karma of God fell on us. When we transmute that fierceness, that fire of the sexual energy, we then receive the blessings of the almighty God through Samael. Thus, when we fight, when we tread the royal path, the path of the self-realization, Samael will bless us, but if we eat of the forbidden fruit, Samael will kick us out of Eden. Now you understand why The Zohar mentions Samael many, many times. This is because whether for evil or for good Samael takes us to hell or to heaven. It depends on how we utilize the sexual energy. Samael’s power is in the animal kingdom and in the human kingdom.

And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.

In Hebrew, Malachim means “kings.” Malachim in Yetzirah correspond to Tiphereth, the heart. King of Kings, the Melek Malachim, is in the heart, and corresponds to Jacob, those ones who become triumphant, who become King of kings. So he is the King of those Malachim; in other words, the power of Samael, the blood, in the heart becomes that king, becomes the lamb, the force that blesses Jacob. Samael is a Malachim among Malachims because Samael is the head of many angels. In Hebrew when you name an angel you say Melek or Malachim, which relates to the world of Tiphereth.

The Malachim also relate to the three wise men or three kings, three Malachim that visit the Lord. There are no kings or Malachim here in this vulgar physical world, but only initiates who worship the Lord. Only the Malachim know about the Lord because they saw His star in the East. This is very symbolic.

“And Lord of Lords.” Lord in Hebrew is Adonai. Adonai is the name of God in Malkuth. So he is the Lord also of Lords. So when you achieve the level of Ishim, a true man in Kabbalah, then you become a Lord of Malkuth. Of course that Lord of Malkuth is our Innermost, but the one that is ruling over that Innermost is Adonai.

...and on his thigh a name written...

This points to the sexual force. Remember when Jacob was fighting with Samael:

...and when Samael saw that he prevailed not against Jacob, Samael touched the hollow of Jacob’s thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint as he wrestled with Samael.

This is why on Samael’s thigh is written “King of Kings and Lord of Lords.” This is pointing to the sexual power. The blood of the heart goes into the sexual force. It is the same of Samael’s vesture, since “he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood.” The purple red is the blood is the life, the vesture of the kings, and in their sex is the Lord of Lords.

So, all of these verses of revelation are pointing to Samael.

When we state Kabbalistically that Samael is the Avatar of Aquarius, we are emphasizing what the book of Revelation states. The fifth angel is responsible for this Aryan (Aries) Root Race. Samael is the one who is delivering the knowledge in this day and age, or the forces of the Lord the Christ.

soundingthehornThere is another chapter in the book of Revelation that talks about Samael.

And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.

Samael is the fifth angel of the seven. Every angel of the seven is sounding a trumpet. To sound a trumpet means to deliver knowledge. The word of God when delivered to humanity is like the sound of a trumpet. Awaken! Here is the wisdom in this Aryan Root Race that is ruled by Samael. When he sounded his trumpet, he delivered his doctrine. So when he sounded, he uttered the fifth truth.

...and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the Earth.

That star is Samael descending from heaven to the Earth: from the brain (Aries-heaven) to Yesod in the physical body. This is how the seed of God descends into Yesod.

The Descent into Hell

And to him, (Samael) was given the key of the bottomless pit.

What is the bottomless pit? Of course, the bottomless pit is the unfathomable abyss, or chaos, that is difficult or impossible to intellectually comprehend.

There are three bottomless pits or unfathomable abysses, or chaos.

The first is Daath, the throat. Daath is the primeval microcosmic chaos of the creative sexual force of the word out of which is explained how the universe is formed, or how God creates the universe with the power of the word.

The second abyss is Yesod, the venerable microcosmic chaos of sex out of which Kabbalistically is explained how the human being is formed. As above so below.

The third abyss is Hell, or Klipoth. That abyss, Latin infernus, is the third chaos where the devolving egos dwell, hell. The subjective reasoning within the intellectual animal relates to this type of chaos, where only disorder reigns. Obviously, the chaotic disorder of the subjective reasoning within this humanity is what creates the common and ordinary karma.

To have the key of the bottomless pit is to have the wisdom about the three chaoses.

Daath relates to superior initiations, Yesod is the beginning of initiations, but also Klipoth relates to that, which is hell, because in order for Christ to clean us from sins, he has to descend into hell. It is written in the Gospels that when the Lord, our redeemer, was crucified and died on the cross, he descended into hell. Of course, this is an initiatic process in which the Lord descends and goes into Klipoth, into our own hell.

This hell, Klipoth, that people call Inferno, exists within the interior layers or infra dimension of the Earth. Anyone that experiences nightmares experiences those abysses, yet, in our microcosmic Earth, which is our physical body, that Klipoth symbolizes the subconsciousness, the unconsciousness, and the infraconsciousness. In this abyss is where we have lust, anger, greed, pride, envy, gluttony, laziness, etc. That is our own hell. That is Klipoth, which is our own abyss. That is why it is written that when we close our physical eyes we see that the Earth is in darkness, empty, and without form; because this is what we see inside.

If we follow the path of initiation, the day will arrive that when we close our eyes we will then see light inside of us. God is light. If now we close our eyes and we see only darkness with our clairvoyant eye, it is because our third eye sees only darkness.

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! – Matthew 6: 22, 23

This is what master Jesus said inside of us.

And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years. - Revelation 20: 1, 2

So as you see  in Revelation 20:1, 2 Samael is the angel that comes down from heaven and traps the devil. This is a process. That devil or Shatan of the Bible, is Satan, the ego within us.

Let us describe the devil: envy, jealousy, lust pride, vanity, laziness, anger, and hatred, all of these are inside of everyone. That is the devil. The devil is not outside, but inside of us.

The fifth Angel has to descend; with the advent of Samael inside of us he descends and traps the devil. That is, Samael helps us to destroy it. This is why Samael’s books are written.

And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.

And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them…

And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.- Revelation 9: 1-3, 5, 6, 11

The angel of the bottomless pit is Abaddon, in Hebrew, and in Greek Apollyon. Since we are talking in Hebrew mythology, let us just take Abaddon. What does Abba mean? Abba means “father” in Hebrew. And what does Dan mean in Hebrew? It means “judge.” Abaddon is “the judge, the father.” Others say it is called “destruction.” Yes, it is also called destruction, but destruction of evil, of course, destruction of iniquity.

Abaddon relates to Geburah. In the left column we find Binah, Geburah, and Hod, which is where you find the tribe of Dan, which “shall judge his people,” as one of the tribes of Israel. “Dan shall be a serpent (Nachash) by the way.” Abaddon is Abba-Dan, the judgment of the father, which is symbolized as the Elder of Days in the vision of Ezekiel. The judgment of the father comes from Binah, through Geburah into Hod, into Yesod, into Malkuth, because Yesod is the abyss that is opened.

The Plague of Locusts

Do you know what the symbol of locusts is? Many people ask, “What are these locusts that strike for five months everyman who has not the seal of God on their foreheads?” This is the sign of the beast 666, who torments them for five months and the men want to die but they do not die. Five months represents karma. This is how it is written.

Locusts, what are the locusts? Let us understand what the locusts are. In the Bible in Proverbs 30: 27, it is written:

The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands.

Locusts are exceeding wise. They organize very well, they go in bands and go everywhere yet they have no king. Likewise, if you remember the plagues that Moses unleashed in Egypt, one of those was locusts. People always see that and associate that with insects. Thus, when they read this in the book of Revelation, they want to see also this insect, but they ignore that it is only a symbol. You might inquire if this sign of locusts is evil or good:

As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins. And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey. - Mark 1: 2-6

Elias the prophet, who was reincarnated in John, was feeding himself with honey and locusts. So, he was eating locusts in the wilderness. He was clothed with camel's hair and he was eating honey and locusts. Remember, that the speech, the mouth, is related to Adam, the man, so John is eating locusts; in Kabbalah this means he is studying the doctrine. That is the symbol of the locusts. To eat locusts means to do what we are doing right now: eating the knowledge.

I do not know if you are digesting these locusts, but by teaching I am unleashing them. I am delivering the locusts, the knowledge, the Kabbalistic doctrine, to you, and that “will torment you for five months.” Do you understand this? You will be tormented “for five months.” Not literally for five months of time; this means that your consciousness will understand the doctrine, and will say, “Well, now I have to pay what I owe.” The number five is related to karma, our cosmic debt.

The locusts that are unleashed in the world represent the Kabbalistic knowledge, the doctrine of Samael that has the key to the bottomless pit. The key is the secret of the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil that we are delivering to humanity in order for humanity to follow or not follow the path. Thus, you will be tormented for five months because you have to pay what you owe.

As John the Baptist was eating locusts in the wilderness, we the Gnostics also eat locusts in the wilderness. We gather and we eat locusts and honey, which is the symbol of the transmutation of the solar light into honey, thanks to the bee. The bee takes the pollen from the flowers and transforms it into honey; that is alchemy. Thus, to unleash locusts is precisely to unleash the doctrine. This is what Moses did in Egypt. When it says let my people go and the pharaoh said no. Okay said Moses, I will tell you how the people will go, thus, he was given the knowledge. Do you understand now? Of course, all the Egyptians were receiving the doctrine, understanding, and were feeling pain from it because the doctrine of God is a poison for the ego and bothers the mind. Thus, the Egyptians were saying, “Don’t bite me” because the locusts were in their heads, that is, the doctrine, the knowledge, which is what the locusts mean.

We are people with defects and vices. We are not angels. If we are not angels, we are then demons. We are in hell. But we have the opportunity to go out of hell with the doctrine of Samael. When we study his doctrine, his Kabbalistic knowledge, we eat the locusts like John the Baptist in the wilderness. Then we are spreading the doctrine, but we receive our punishment (karma) for “five months,” because Samael rules Geburah, which is the wrath of God, which in other words, in Sanskrit, is the karma that comes to us according to our deeds.

To receive the advent of the Lord Christ through any of his angels is a blessing, but remember that you are going to be tormented five months because you have to do the work. It is not as easy as many people think, that you just raise your arm aloft and say, “I believe in the Christ, I believe in Jesus,” or “I believe in Samael,” and then you are saved. That is easy to do, but is not the reality. Understand: this is a process of transformation that we have to do. And this is why - in this case - Samael through his followers is symbolized by the locusts. The locusts are spreading the knowledge among the demons, among us, in order for us to understand who we are and how we can transform ourselves.

And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit...

This angel of the bottomless pit, the angel of Yesod, the angel of Scorpio, that rules that not only Klipoth but also Assiah, Yetzirah, and Briah under the command of Jehovah Elohim, is Samael, who commands many angels. One of his angels is Abaddon, which means “the father of judgment” or “the judgment of the father” through him. Abaddon also represents the human soul fallen into sin.

When you enter into this path, you have as a king the angel of the bottomless pit, but if you follow the path of the self realization, that king will bless you up there in heaven. If you do not follow the path of the doctrine, that king will also send you down there, to Klipoth because as a King of kings, he rules Klipoth and heaven.

Any Archangel controls heaven and Earth. It is not a being that relates only to heaven. This is why in this day and age with the advent of Samael, humanity received the doctrine, the knowledge of the tree of good and evil.

Samael’s doctrine:

  • unleashes the wisdom of the third abyss, hell, Klipoth
  • unleashes the wisdom of the second abyss, Yesod, which is sexual magic
  • unleashes the wisdom of the first abyss, the mystery of Daath which is the mystery of all that we know in the cosmos, since Samael was a witness of the creation of this planet from the very beginning, because he is a Logos.

Likewise, we have to understand and comprehend why Samael catches or traps the devil, which is the ego of those people who do not want to transform themselves. He takes them down into Klipoth.

Yet, if we follow the doctrine like Jacob, he will bless us and take us to heaven. Notwithstanding, this is a process, as we explained in other lectures. If you do not remember I will refresh your mind: in heaven Samael rules the fifth mighty ray, the ray of power. Samael is the fifth spirit before the throne. The seven spirits of God in the spinal medulla rule the seven chakras, thus Samael rules the fifth chakra which is in the throat. Now you see how the fifth archangel relates to the throat, the head, the sexual organs, the blood, and the heart. Of course, every Spirit before the throne of God relates to all the forces, but we are explaining Samael, because humanity has waited a long time for his doctrine.

The Second Coming of Christ

The fundamentalists are waiting for the second coming of Christ, and they always read these verses of the book of Revelation and say that they relate to the second coming of the Lord Jesus, without understanding that within the cosmos there are twelve saviors. Not one, but twelve. Jesus represents the highest. What you see in the last supper are the twelve apostles and Jesus, the thirteenth, which is the symbol of death.

In The Pistis Sophia Unveiled, Samael Aun Weor states that there are twelve saviors, which relate to the twelve apostles of the Lord, which also relate to the twelve planets of the solar system. Yes, there are twelve, not nine. Gnostically we know that this solar system has twelve planets, counting the Sun, because the Sun is another planet; it is in the center, this is why it is the Sun. After Pluto is Vulcan. After Vulcan is Persephone, and after Persephone is Clarion. There are twelve planets that rotate around the Sun.

Every planet is a house, a temple of a Logos, of a force. A Logos is not a person but an energy.

Among the twelve there are seven main ones. The seven belong to a special rank, which are the seven spirits before the throne of God. They relate to the seven days of the week. The number seven is very special in the Bible and in Kabbalah.

After the seven are the remaining five. Each one of them can work or channel the forces of the Lord, the Cosmic Christ, in order to help this humanity.

Jesus of Nazareth, the master Aberamentho who came two thousand years ago, came in order to represent the work of any savior in anyone of us. It was necessary for the work of the savior to be represented by a master, and of course the highest of all of them, the master Aberamentho, represented the work of the Cosmic Christ. Jesus is above the twelve, above the seven; he is an inhabitant of the Ain, of the unknowable divine. Jesus, the master Aberamentho, commands Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Michael, Samael, Zachariel, and Orifiel and the other five Logoi, or archangels of the other planets.  So those are the names of the seven, because only these seven names are permitted to utter. These are mysteries that are written in Kabbalah.

Master Aberamentho (Jesus) is the boss of the White Lodge, of the White Hierarchy in this solar system. He is on top of the hierarchy. Jesus has many things to do, so he needs help. Samael is the fifth helper. The fifth helper is working in this day and age in this Aryan Root Race. No one can do his work but he himself, because he is responsible for this Root Race that populates all the Earth. He came as an Avatar at the end of this Root Race because we are at the end of days for this humanity that has a lot of karma. So Geburah himself (Samael) came to deliver the doctrine that pertains to him in order to help us. This is why he sent his Bodhisattva. Samael Aun Weor is the human soul of the Archangel Samael.

Samael is the Archangel that rides the white horse in heaven. His Bodhisattva, Samael Aun Weor, was sent to the Earth in order to write the books. He had a physical body and wrote the books of his Father, the doctrine of his God. He said, “the wisdom that I give is the wisdom of my God, my Father.”

Every single angel, archangel, Seraphim, or Cherubim in heaven has their own particular vehicle. We refer to every self-realized master, because when the Monad is not self realized, it is not an angel; it is a simple monad that can become something more.

When the Lord Christ expresses himself through the one, the three, the seven, the twelve, the twenty-four, the forty-eight fires, it is because all of them represent the twenty-four elders, twelve apostles, twelve tribes, the seven spirits before the throne - all of them are expressions of the same fire, the same Lord. So when the Lord says, “I will come back, I will return,” he comes back through any of his fires. That light will shine in any of his fires. This is why we state, any master of the day from Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Taoism, Zoroastrianism - any religion - is a vehicle of the Lord. It is a light of the Lord.

When we were in Mexico around the master Samael Aun Weor, the bodhisattva of Samael, he said: “Quetzalcoatl promised to return to Mexico in order to give the treasure, the wisdom, to help the Mexicans. Here we are delivering, accomplishing, and fulfilling the promise of Quetzalcoatl.”

Quetzalcoatl is a master of the Aztec pantheon. He promised to return and give the knowledge. His promise was fulfilled through Samael Aun Weor.

Babaji is another Christ who promised to deliver the doctrine to India. That was accomplished through Samael Aun Weor, because he is the vehicle in this day and age of the Avatar of Aquarius.

This is how we explain the advent of Samael. The Gnostics also talk about the advent of Samael in other levels. They explain how Samael the Logos came into Samael Aun Weor in Colombia, and we know that. But we are explaining here about the Logos that can come down into you through the Venustic Initiation. Samael promised to return, and he said very clearly that the Lord should return in our hearts. The second coming of the lord is always in the heart. When he said, “I promise to return at the half of the half of the time,” that means in our hearts. He can come physically, but believe me, it is better if he returns into you as fire than to come back physically. I knew him physically when he was in Mexico. He can return as a resurrected master, but it is better if he sends his Holy Spirit into me, in order for me to advance and receive the advent of Samael in order to perform the great work in myself. That is, to return at “the half of the half of the time.” That is what he wants all of us to understand. This is what the fundamentalists call the second coming of Jesus. Jesus, Yeshua, means savior. As it is written:

Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel. Dan shall be a serpent (Nachash) by the way, a viper (a Seraphim, which another way to say fiery serpent in Hebrew) in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward. I have waited for thy Yeshua, Iod, Hei, Vav, Hei. - Genesis 49: 16-18

A viper, a seraph in the path. The Seraphim are the angels of Geburah. They are the fiery serpents, the Seraphim. So he will be a Seraph in the path that biteth the horse heels. The heel of our horse (physical body) is the sexual force. Remember that when Jacob was born he was holding the heel of Esau. This is the meaning, the wisdom of Esau’s heel. The heel represents the sexual force, “so that his rider shall fall backward, I have waited for thy salvation oh Lord.” This is what the blessing of Dan is. The salvation of the Lord is there in Geburah.

Questions and Answers

Audience: At some point you mentioned the mark of the devil as 666, and I was trying to understand what is the symbolism of that.

Instructor: Yes, the book of Revelation talks about the beast whose number is six hundred sixty-six. The number six is Tiphereth, the sixth Sephirah or sixth sphere of the Tree of Life, from top to bottom. Tiphereth is a symbol of the human soul. We have part of that human soul in us. In order to go from the level in which we are, which is physicality, and Yesod in the sexual force, we go up through the spinal column which is the ladder that Jacob saw in his dream. Through the spinal column you go up to Schamayim, heaven. But who is the one that goes up? The one that goes up is the one that is down in the bottom; because if you are already up, you do not need to go up. All of us are in the bottom. Who is the one in the bottom? The beast six hundred sixty-six, which is Chaioth in Hebrew. The Chaioth are a symbol of the animals that we have within. Chaioth are: lust, anger, envy, greed, pride, laziness, gluttony. This is why it is stated that the beast has seven heads, and in every head a name of blasphemy. Lust is a blasphemy to God. Anger is a blasphemy to God. Envy, pride, greed, gluttony, laziness. The seven deadly sins. Those are the names. The blasphemy in each head of the beast.

The beast expresses itself through our three brains. Through our mind, in the head. Through our feelings in our heart. Through our actions, through the motor-instinctive-sexual brain. So in each part of those egos that we named or defects vices that we have, the consciousness the human soul is trapped. Is bottled up.

So if you want to name the soul (Tiphereth) trapped within the beast, we have to say it is the number six trapped in the head, the number six trapped in the heart, the number six trapped in the sex. Six, Six, Six relates to the three brains that we have. Through the three brains is how the beast works through us. In other words, the beasts 666 with seven heads is the whole humanity, and is us. Humanity is made by each one of us. Society is the extension of the individual. Society exists because the individual exists. The beast humanity exists because the beast individual is speaking, existing, in each one of us. The beast 666 came from the abyss from Klipoth, right? From hell. From the subconsciousness, from the infraconsciousness.

That beast, that demon, is delivering the locusts. We are not going to boast of ourselves of being angels. All of us are demons, but we are sharing the locusts. We are explaining the knowledge everywhere. The Kabbalistic knowledge is the symbol of the locusts. We can be saved if we take advantage of it, or otherwise the opportunity that we have right now to go out of hell will be closed and the beast will return into the abyss as it is written in the book of Revelation.

Audience: What is the difference between the Innermost, and our own particular Father and the Being, or are they all the same?

Instructor: Our Father who is in heaven is our Innermost. He is our own Monad, made by three particles: Chesed, Geburah and Tiphereth; that is the Monad which is in heaven. We are part of that Monad. We are what we call Buddhata, essence, consciousness, the soul, here in this physical world. We are the beast six hundred sixty-six, that wants to stop being a beast and wants to kill himself and to return to God, but the one that is going to return to God is the Son of Man, because no one can ascend up to Heaven but the one that came down from heaven, even the Son of Man who is in heaven.

Who is the Son of Man, in other words, the Son of Adam? Who is Adam? Adam is Chesed, the true man, the spirit; that is Adam. Our own Being; that is Adam. The son of Adam is Abel, the human soul; the son of Adam, the son of man, that came down from heaven. That particle of God, which is the soul, that came down from heaven is the only part that can go up to heaven.

This is precisely why we have to understand. People want to go up to heaven with their lust, envy, greed, gluttony - in other words, the beast 666 wants to go up to heaven, No. The beast has to be annihilated, sent to hell, in order to liberate the soul from it, in order for the Son of Man, the son of Adam, Abel, who is dead, to resurrect, because Cain (the sinful mind) killed Abel. Now we have to kill Cain and resuscitate Abel through initiation in order to go up to heaven. That is the union called Religion, Latin ‘religare,’ to reunite, to unite the soul with the spirit; that is what is called religion. Religion is not going and sharing a doctrine in any church. Religion means to unite again Abel with the spirit, Abel with Adam. Adam is the spirit, Abel is the soul. Abel is dead and needs to resuscitate, and only Christ can resuscitate Abel, the son of man.

We have to understand that we are dead spiritually speaking. We have to resuscitate. Christ can do that for us, and unite us with our Innermost. When we are united with our Innermost, our Innermost then sits on his throne, the spinal nervous system (the brain and the medulla) and he says, “I have a book now, thanks to God. I need to read the book,” and then he receives the Lord. He receives the advent of Samael in order to open the seals of the book; thus Samael is the superior part of Chesed, the superior part of the Innermost which is Christ. Christ is the head of any spirit.

Each one of us as souls are connected to Christ, to our inner Being, so when we said “to our inner being” we begin from Chesed up to Binah, Chokmah, and Kether, and beyond. The Ain Soph is also our inner Being, but as you know all these parts are parts of its descent. We as the souls are part of that Being.

Audience: Even though this doesn’t directly relate to the lecture, could you give me some advice as to things we can do to have more motivation, and build willpower to perform meditation or other esoteric works, I know this sounds vain but any advise would be appreciated.

Instructor: Samael is the king of the ray of power. Invoke Samael. Samael is willpower himself. By invoking him inside (because he is responsible for this doctrine) you will receive strength. Samael can help you in any level. Because remember, Samael is a king of hell and heaven. We are in hell, so invoke Samael and ask help in order to go up. He will bless you if you defeat Esau, that is, your lust. We have to understand that in this path we always receive help if we show that we are working. This is how we receive help. “Ask and ye shall receive. Knock and it shall be opened unto you.” But when you knock you have to know what to ask. Do not ask things from the Earth because if you ask to God for things from the Earth, this is worthless. Everybody preaches on the tv and radio that if you behave good you will have a lot of money and a happy life, as if that is the purpose of the doctrine of God, as if the purpose of God is to give a lot of money to everybody. That is indeed stupid, you know. You can have a lot of money, so what? And to be disjoined from God psychologically speaking. Willpower is what we want, psychologically speaking.

If you have the book The Gnostic Magic of the Runes you can perform the rune Os; this will give you willpower. Also the rune Not is for willpower.

Audience: I have a question and I don’t know whether this makes sense or not but, I guess through what your teaching how do you explain someone, explain suicide in reference to what your talking about; Someone who commits it or puts themselves in a situation where somebody else can take their life. How do you explain this.

Instructor: About suicide. Well, life is given to us as free. It is a gift. Life relates to Binah, the Holy Spirit, the lord of creation. Life descends through Geburah, which is Samael, through our blood, and that is what we have in our body: life. When we commit suicide we go directly into Samael, which is the life in our body which is Geburah, so of course Geburah, which is the law of God, will punish us, because the commandment of Geburah is “you shall not kill.” That commandment means inside or outside of your body. The only one that can kill is the force of Binah, the Holy Spirit through Geburah. Instinctually, it does it in the animal. The lion, the tiger, kills the Ddeer in order to be fed. That’s instinctually, but we have intellect. We reason. So we have to know how to use that power under the law of God, otherwise we are punished. We receive karma. The punishment for those people that kill themselves, that take the life of God from their body - that is precisely the explanation – have to return again into a new life into a new body because it is written that we have to have 108 physical bodies in order to do what we have to do; the suicidal person when he or she reaches the same age when he commited suicide in his or her past physical body, he will not think of dying. He will wish to live but he will die at the same age. That is the punishment for the people that commit suicide. To die in the next life at the same age and everybody and he or she will see the whole life ahead as a blessing. If he marries or she marries or whatever he does but he by any circumstance will die at that age.

Student: Again?

Instructor: Yes again, in order to be punished, in order to learn his lesson. He or she dies again but this time for the law of God. In his past life he did it under his own evil will. Now God will say “I am the one that commands death and life not you. Now that you want to live, behold, your life is gone.”

Student: Now what about the person who takes the life? Or is that can that be connected to that person who got their life taken by someone else. Could that be connected to them taking there life in the past?

Student: Maybe somebody killed somebody else?

Instructor: Well that is another thing. Somebody that kills somebody else in the next life, he will be killed by the other one. That is the law of recurrence. That is the law of karma and recurrence. You killed, now you are going to be killed. That is precisely the vicious circle of recurrence, and in the next life the other person will kill you. That is the law of karma, a vicious circle of cause and effect, cause and effect, cause and effect. That is why it is good to meditate and not to kill.

Audience: What if one generation of a person kills somebody and then maybe a generation later their karma is passed to the next generation. Can they have the whole thing wiped out I guess.

Instructor: That depends on the ego, because in this day and age you see that if one of the family kills another member of another family the other family will kill that one, and this is a kind of egotistical hatred and revenge that unfortunately is very common in our day and age. The only way to stop that vicious circle or karmic circle is by comprehending your ego: self-love, pride, self-esteem, self-importance, in combination with hatred and anger. We always justify killing because of the flag, because our religion. This unfortunately is what happens in this day and age. People go and kill because of their religion. They think that after killing this group of people they will go to heaven. It is what they believe, but the problem is they don’t know about the law of karma. They don’t go to heaven; they go down to hell. The one that commands life is God in your body and outside of your body.

That commandment “you shall not kill” is given to us intellectual animals. Why? Because we have the ego inside that likes to kill; because we come from the animal kingdom. Go to the lion and say, “Ok, God says you shall not kill.” The lion will say, “Ok let me show you,” and it will jump on you. Right? They do not understand; they are following other laws. In that level, they kill by their instinct. But we are intellectual animals. God says, “Ok, now you are a soul entering into this human kingdom. Let me tell you, you shall not kill now, because you have intellect, reasoning, and you know about good and evil. If you want to advance now you have to obey my law. Now you are not going to kill. And if you do it, well, let me show you what happen.”

This is precisely why this planet is entangled in this law. People think there is a law that you have to believe and if you believe in that you will reach heaven. No, the law is there; it is very clear. Whether you believe in it or not, if you do not follow, you will be punished. That is called karma, cause and effect, which is explained in many levels. And that is Geburah, the power of Samael.

Samael has that power in the animal kingdom. This is Madim, Mars, war, also called the angel of destruction. Samael is also called the angel of death. In the animal kingdom, this is how the force of Samael acts, and likewise in the intellectual animal kingdom.

Samael said in Mexico when we were with him that we are delivering this doctrine to humanity in order for them to be free of Klipoth and to enter into the other levels of the Tree of Life. But this humanity likes war and more war. So therefore, if this is what they want, this is what we will help them to do. Right? Because he is the God of war, he has the power of God of killing and destroying. Abaddon, Apollyon, Destroyer, whether outside or inside of us. But he is delivering his doctrine in order to say. “Follow me in the upper way, not as an animal.” As an animal you fornicate and kill. Humanity is following Samael in the animal level. If you kill, you are following Samael in the animal level. You want to follow him in the human level? Then, you shall not kill. You shall not fornicate. Then you will go up.

The cycle of this Aryan Root Race is closed. The Ouroboros, the serpent of Genesis, has bitten its own tail. The biblical Eden and all gardens of delights from ancient times are lost. We are in a terrible black age!

Thus, this humanity, as a burdened, suffering man is marching on a painful karmic path, far - very far - from the Edenic wisdom of Samael; we need to return to the ancient wisdom of Eden so that we can reestablish the mysteries of Christ upon the face of the Earth.

seven horns, eyesWe need to be regenerated; and for this we need to study in depth the Gnostic mysteries and to take the fire of Samael-Scorpio throughout the spinal cord, so that our soul can be illuminated with the heavenly fire of Geburah.

The advent of Samael within Samael Aun Weor already happened by means of the cross - yes, because through the cross is how Samael comes to us and unveils the mysteries of Adam and Eve, the mysteries of Pistis Sophia, because the cross of Samael is an instrument of transformation and redemption.

Samael Aun Weor left us, but his Father Samael, the Red Christ of Aquarius, must return as a Lamb in our hearts.

Samael, the Red Christ of Aquarius, must be reborn in each of us through the Venustic Initiation.

Samael Aun Weor left to the Absolute Sun - yes, as the souls of the dead in ancient Egypt left, sailing on the boat of Ra.

Resurrected, Samael Aun Weor left but we must call for the advent of Samael, the king of fire and lord of the strength within our hearts; we must receive his holy advent so that we can eliminate from ourselves all these defects that we carry within and that places very far away from our own particular individual God. And to say with our indiviudal John when seen Yeshua (the Savior) coming unto him: "Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world." - John 1: 29, only thus, we will resurrect from among the dead.
