This is a transcription of the audio lecture Kabbalah of Genesis 05 The Hebraic Satanic Myth, Part 1 originally given live on Gnostic Radio, which you can download for free.

Much has been talked about in relation with Satan, which most people in the Christian world and Judaism, as well as amongst the Muslims, associate with Lucifer. Thus, in this lecture we have to explain that Lucifer and Satan are two different things, even though they relate to the same force. So, the study of this topic is very important in order to settle our minds and thus understand how the archetypes related with Lucifer and Satan are within each one of us, and how these forces relate with the Hebrew myth.

We find this Satanic myth in many religions, however this lecture relates to Kabbalah, to the Tree of Life, and Alchemy, the Tree of Knowledge of the Hebraic pantheon, in order for us to understand the root of it; since, in this day and age, in the Western world, Christianity, Judaism, and Islam are what most of people know.

When we inquire about the meaning of the Hebrew word "Satan," [שטן] we find that it means "the adversary, the contrary, the opposite." When we study this opposite we find that it relates to what we call darkness, the opposite of light. The name "Satan" is written with three letters. The first letter is ש Shin, which is the symbol of fire. The second is the letter ט Teth, which, as we explained in the Hebrew alphabet course, relates to the serpent; it is a symbol of the serpent. Teth, the ninth letter of the Hebrew alphabet, relates to the Sephirah Yesod, which relates to the sexual force. (Whereas the letter Tav, which is the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet, is that letter that always relates to the Sephirah Malkuth, which is below the Sephirah Yesod. The word Malkuth ends with Tav.) The word "Satan" is written with Shin, Teth, and with ן Final Nun, which is that letter נ "N" that in Hebrew is written as a half-circle, the half square is also the letter nun. However, when you write the “Nun” at the end of any word, you do not write it as a half circle but just as a prolonged line ן, down beyond the baseline; this is what is called Final nun. So this is how you write "Satan" in Hebrew. The letters שטן explain a lot to those who know about the meaning of the letters.

The word שטן is mainly found in the Book of Job in the Old Testament, in the Bible.  Satan (שטן) and Jehovah (יהוה) act together in agreement in order to test Job; as you can read in the book of Job, which is a very long book. The book of Job explains very well how Jehovah commands Satan to do his commands against Job.

And יהוה said unto שטן, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So שטן went forth from the presence of יהוה. – Job 1: 12

Now, this Satan is also named the Prince of Darkness, and in the New Testament Master Jesus calls Satan the Prince of this World.

Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. – John 12: 31

Jesus also states that Satan is the father of lying, that everything that he says is against the Truth. So Satan is always denying the Truth, in other words, he is the opposite of the Truth.

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. – John 8: 44

A simple symbol in order to show the opposites light and darkness, or that which is above and that which is below, is the Star of Solomon or the Star of David, which is the six-pointed star. In it you find two triangles. The first triangle is always related with the first three Sephiroth of the Tree of Life, which are Kether, Chokmah, and Binah, and what in Christianity are called Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, or Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva in Hinduism. Below this triangle and united with it, we have an upside down triangle; both form the six-pointed star, the Star of David. Such a symbol shows us that the opposite of the light is really the darkness, abiding in one whole.

People think that the darkness was created after the creation of the light, yet if we go back in time in accordance with the Hebrew Scriptures we find that really what we call darkness is prior to that which we call Light.

And darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. – Genesis 1: 2-4

So, this Satan or Prince of Darkness, or the symbol of it, goes back in time not only within us, but also in the creation of the Cosmos. Darkness is not a person, but a Force that belongs to the Uncreated Light. Let us see: in Kabbalah we study three aspects of the Uncreated Light that we call the Absolute, these are three Forces which are beyond the first triangle that we talked about, namely, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The three aspects of the Uncreated Light are called in Hebrew אין Ain (the first aspect), אין סוף Ain Soph (the second aspect), and אין סוף אור Ain Soph Aur (the third aspect).

So this אור "Aur" or the third aspect means Light in Hebrew, it is written with Aleph, Vav, and Reish. You read it in English "Aur" but you pronounce it "Or" meaning Light. So Ain Soph Aur is the third aspect of the Absolute.  The third aspect is Aur, because the first is the Ain, and the second is the Ain Soph these were explained many times in our lectures. Thus, when we talk about the Ain or the Ain Soph, we refer to them as eternal darkness. But in order to explain it better, we address them as Abstract Light or Uncreated Light, a type of Light that if we want to see it we will see only darkness because we do not have the proper sight in order to see it, therefore it is called darkness; yet it is darkness for us, but it is pure Light for the Paramarthasattyas, which are the inhabitants who live within the bosom of that darkness, which is Light, Uncreated Light. An example of one of those Paramarthasattyas is Master Jesus of Nazareth; he is an inhabitant of that Uncreated Light, which is the Ain, which is translated as "nothingness." Well, when you read the Bible from the very beginning, it explains there that the darkness is from where the Light emerged. It is written in the Book of Genesis:

In the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth, and the Earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the Abyss."  Genesis 1: 1

As you see, the very first words of the Book of Genesis are telling us that darkness is there before the light, "and darkness was upon the face of the Abyss, and the Spirit of God was hovering upon the face of the waters.” So, in the beginning we see the Spirit of God that in Hebrew is called "Ruach Elohim," hovering upon the face of the waters of the beginning, but everything was in darkness. And after that it is written, "And Elohim said, let there be Light, and the there was Light." So, here we see very clear that first is the darkness and thereafter the Light; thus, the Light emerges from the darkness, this is why it is written that Elohim divided the Light from the darkness, and he called the darkness night, and the light he called day.

So that night, the prince of the night or of the darkness, or what we call Satan, is a force, an entity that exists inside of us and outside of us. In the universe, Darkness is the creator of that Light, which becomes in fact its opposite. That is why Darkness is represented in many great scriptures, like the one that denied the Light, yet it is not denying the Light, the Uncreated Light, because Satan itself is a son, a child of the darkness, which is the Uncreated Light.

Ancient wisdom states that Darkness is in itself Father/Mother, and Light is its Child. It is evident that the Uncreated Light has an unknown origin, absolutely unknowable to us. In no way do we exaggerate if we emphasize the idea that the origin of the Uncreated Light is Darkness. – Tarot and Kabbalah by Samael Aun Weor

What we have to understand is that the Light that emerges from Darkness is the Light that we see here in all dimensions, which is an unfoldment of the same Light that emerges from the Ain that Genesis call the Abyss. When you think of an "abyss," what do you think? You think something with no bottom, right? Bottomless abyss! The Rig Veda states:

Nor Aught nor Nought existed; yon bright sky was not, nor heaven’s broad roof outstretched above. What covered all? What sheltered? What concealed? Was it the water’s fathomless abyss? There was not death - yet there was nought immortal, There was no confine betwixt day and night; the only One breathed breathless by itself, Other than It there nothing since has been. Darkness there was, and all at first was veiled. In gloom profound - an ocean without light - The germ that still lay covered in the husk Burst forth, one nature, from the fervent heat. Who knows the secret? Who proclaimed it here? Whence, whence this manifold creation sprang? The Gods themselves came later into being - Who knows from whence this great creation sprang? That, whence all this great creation came, whether its will created or was mute, The Most High Seer that is in highest heaven, He knows it - or perchance even He knows not.

Thus, darkness is precisely in this sense the Absolute, or what we call the Abstract Absolute Space, the Ain, the Nothingness. It is a fathomless abyss of darkness, for us, but it is Uncreated Light. So, from this darkness emerges the Light that we call Aur. But thereafter the darkness again expresses itself in the Universe and from it the Light emerges again. If we state that such darkness is Fire, we will not commit a mistake; yet, a type of Fire, which is not the fire that we find in this three-dimensional world. We can call it Abstract Fire, which is Mother-Father.

And as the book of Genesis explains, after the Elohim created the Light from the darkness, Elohim continues dividing the Light form the darkness.

When you are dividing something, it is because you are taking out from it, and putting what you are taking from it into another side, this is how you divide. Thus, by taking from the darkness what is called Light, we leave there that which is darkness. So in other words, the Light that we see here in this physical world is nothing but an unfoldment of another Light that for us, for our comprehension is darkness.

So that is precisely what we call the two opposites, in the very abstract manner, in the beginning of the universe, or what the Bible called "Beresheet" in the beginning; or as John in his Gospels explains:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. – John 1: 1-5

We see then that the Light shines thanks to the darkness; this means that if the Light wants to shine, it needs the darkness. "And the darkness comprehended it not" if this is taken from this point of view, we can state that the prince of darkness - which is Satan - by rejecting the Light it creates the Light, that comprehension is the outcome of a battle between dark and Light, between darkness and Light, about which is written in many books.

So Satan, the opposite, darkness, unfolds in many parts as the Bible explains in the Book of Genesis; when the first day of Genesis is done, then as Moses wrote "And the evening and the morning were the first day." They accomplished one day, but whom or what complemented that day? The answer is the evening, which is the darkness.   Because the evening is when the Light is gone and the day is when the Light is rising. So it is written: “And the evening (the expression of the Darkness) and the morning (the expression of the Light) were one day. As you see, everything that is being done in Genesis by the Light is thanks to the Darkness.

And this is why it stated in the second day "and the evening and the morning were the second day." And after that the two forces start working again, and the evening and the morning were the third day, and the evening and the morning were the fourth day, and the evening and the morning were the fifth day and so on and so forth. So as you see here the two forces are always working in harmony. So, in other words, as we said: the upper triangle working in harmony with the lower triangle. This is why Eliphas Levi as a great Kabbalist shows God in the upper triangle and Satan in the lower triangle as a reflection of the Force, of the same Force. So if we talk about Satan we have to talk about God too, in other words, the opposite of the lower part of God is that which we call Satan, which in the Absolute is the upper part. This is why the Master Samael Aun Weor wrote in the book of Kabbalah:

If [Elohim] the Logos surged from within the Unknowable Divine, the Devil gave Him liberty to do it.

That is, if Elohim or the Logos, the Light created the Universe, it is because the Darkness, the Devil gave him liberty to do it.

If you read Master Samael’s quotation and do not understand Kabbalah you might think that Master Samael is talking about a certain Demon, but no, the Devil is Satan, it is darkness in order for Elohim to create from it; as in the beginning it is stated: "in the beginning (בראשית) Elohim created the Heaven and the Earth," if Elohim did it, it is because the darkness gave him liberty to do it; because that which is the Light, which is Elohim, emerges from the darkness of the Absolute.

Tayish the creator created Elohim the Heavens and the Earth). This is what the Satanists were teaching, in the Middle Ages.

As we know, this symbol, this Satan, unfolds in many parts. Satan is that force against which we have to fight. Because everything that is written in the Book of Genesis is done “in the evening and the morning,” one day, etc. Thus these two forces want to create a great Being, they want to create a Being which is like them, powerful like them, and that is why when we said like them, it comes into my mind the words “Tob and Rah”, good and evil, this is how these Hebrew words are translated. Yet here the English word evil does not fit. If we translate Tob and Rah as good and the opposite of good, it would be better if we translate them as right and left, Od and Obd, yes and no. Because if you want to affirm something, you have to see its opposite, so, if you say yes, but if there is not a “Negation” there, then you cannot affirm anything. Thus, if there is not darkness, how are we going to affirm the Light?

And יהוה said unto Moses, See, I have made thee an Elohim to Pharaoh (Malkuth’s King): and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet… And יהוה spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, when Pharaoh  shall speak unto you, saying, Show a miracle for you: then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod (Vav), and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a (Od) serpent. And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as יהוה had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a (Od) serpent. Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. For they cast down every man his rod (Zayin), and they became (Kundabuffer) serpents: but Aaron's rod (Kundalini) swallowed up their (Kundabuffer) rods. – Exodus 7: 1, 8-12

This is the pure wisdom of the Gnostic Satanists who existed in the Middle Ages; and because they did not understand them, they were burned alive in the Inquisition. From them comes this beautiful wisdom.

And God said, Let there be lights (Od and Obd) in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night. Genesis 1: 14

Now, as we always state in relation with the Star of David, this Light and darkness are also symbolized as the upper triangle, the male, and the lower triangle, the female. The upper triangle is form by the Phallus and the two testicles. The Phallus represented by Kether, the two testicles by Chokmah and Binah. And in the woman’s sex forms the lower triangle which is upside down because her ovaries are above. We the men, we have the testicles below, but women have (Chokmah and Binah, Od and Obd) their ovaries above and (Daath) their uterus below, which form the upside down triangle. This is why this upside down triangle is represented by a woman, and this is why the Book of Genesis explains in the very cryptic manner how Satan works through the lower triangle, the woman, in order to make the upper triangle, the man, to fall. As you see, the two opposite forces are always working, in the higher realms as well as in the lower.

In the Elohim, in the Gods, these two - male female - forces are in equilibrium; this is why they are Gods. We say that they are not Good or Evil, we say this because they know Good and not good. They are perfect otherwise they could not be Elohim, Gods. In order to enter into the bosom of the Ain, which is the Abstract Universal Cosmic Father, the element that needs to penetrate there has to be in balance with the two forces that we call Good and Evil or Od and Obd; otherwise it cannot penetrate the Ain. That equilibrium is very difficult to acquire, this precisely why we are here, because we need to acquire such equilibrium in order to be like the Gods (knowing good and evil).

Those Gods within themselves are represented by the Star of David; this is why when somebody is a Self-realized Monad, that Monad that is represented in the Inner Being has a ring with a Star of David in his right hand. This ring symbolizes that such God within himself is in equilibrium with the two forces:  God and Satan. It is written: that those Elohim never dare to touch that ring with their left-hand, because whosoever touches that ring - which symbolizes the self-realization - with their left-hand loses the ring.

You see, many times we talk here about the left-side, which relates to the letter Zayin, which is also Eve; thus, many times we also said that to touch, that the sense of touch is in relation with sex; because the most sensitive organ which is in relation with the sense of the touch is the sexual organ. So, when it is said unto you do not dare to touch that ring-finger with your left-hand (Zayin) is equal as “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” That is, you will lose your immortality. This is how every-thing is hidden in symbols and this is how (in symbols) we need to read things. Anyhow, what this light and darkness wants to create is other beings alike and that is the whole thing, the whole battle in the universe. And this is why you read the following in the Book of Genesis:

"And Elohim said, let us make Adam in our image after our likeness." – Genesis 1: 26

The image is the first triangle and the likeness is the lower triangle. “Our image” is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. “Our likeness is the negative aspect - of those three aspects - represented in the female as we explained here, the female is the likeness; the two forces male and female are light and darkness.

"And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." – Genesis 1: 26

You see, “And let them have dominion,” “Them,” because they are made into the same image and likeness.

According to the myth that you read in many parts in many books of the bible, instead of Adam they call this image and likeness Lucifer. "Luci" from "Lux" light in Latin, and "fer" fire or ferre "carry" carrier of the Light.

You might ask yourself, who is this fire or ferre, or carrier of light, Lucifer, luciferous or lucifugous, who is this carrier of the Light? Well as Genesis in Latin explains it in the beginning, the one that is carrying the light is the darkness because from the darkness comes the Light.

Dixitque Deus fiat lux et facta est lux[ifer]. - Genesis 1: 3

So this is why this Lucifer is “ferre,” the darkness, the carrier of “Luci, Lux” the Light, who, in Adam case (microcosmically speaking), is created in accordance to the likeness (darkness) and in accordance to the image (light) of Elohim. Thus, in Genesis this microcosmic Lucifer is called Adam; this is why the Zohar describes that when Adam was created, he was created androgynous. And the light that was showing through Adam was so beautiful because all the light and the darkness - which is the Uncreated Light - were showing through him.

We learned that the beauty of Adam came from the light of the supernal knot of the brightness that shines [Which is the radiance of the cerebral spinal fluid of the (Od) serpent that relates to Abba Elohim which contains the breath of life in Briah from Aleph, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit of Atziluth]. The beauty of Eve was such that no creature could look at her, [which is the radiance of the sexual fluid of the (Obd) serpent that relates to Ima Elohim which contains the breath of life in Briah from Aleph = Kether, Chokmah and Binah of Atziluth]. - Zohar

 

Lucifer

As you know the story of Lucifer is likewise, Lucifer was the most beautiful angel created in the beginning. And as Adam rebelled against the Elohim, it is stated that Lucifer also rebelled against God, because he wanted to be like him. Isn't that what the myth tells us? That Lucifer wanted to be like God, and that is why he was kicked out from Schamayim, which means heaven in Hebrew.

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the dawn! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.’" -  Isaiah 14:12-15

Now, Schamayim is what in Kabbalah we call the Upper Eden. Is not perhaps true that Adam also wanted to be like God, knowing Good and Evil?

For Elohim doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as Elohim, knowing good and evil. – Genesis 3: 5

And this is why Adam was kicked out from Schamayim, the Upper Eden as well:

And יהוה Elohim said, Behold, Adam is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Therefore יהוה Elohim sent him forth from the [upper] Garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. - Genesis 3: 22, 23

So, as you see, that light (Lux), which we can call here Luxifer was - in a lower aspect - an unfoldment within that creature that we call Adam, who because he wanted to be like God, was kicked out from Eden, because he couldn't do it.  So do you see that, do you see the analogy in them, the similitude of the two elements?

This is why it is written that Elohim said:

And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. – Genesis 1: 26

The earth is Malkuth; in other words, Adam was the prince of this world, better said, the King of Malkuth or Tyre as the Bible says in Ezekiel 28, not prince but King of nature:

Son of man (Ben Adam), make a song of lamentation for the king of צור the (flint) rock (of Yesod), and say to him, This is what יהוה אדני (Lord Jehovah) has said: You were the summum of wisdom (Chokmah) and completely beautiful; You were in Eden the garden of God. - Ezekiel 28: 12, 13

But because he fell, now he is a prince, but he was a King, it is stated that the Man is the King of nature, such King was the androgynous Adam. Why? Because this androgynism (איש-Ish and אשה-Isha) is fire (שא) which is symbolized in the letter Shin, which is the first letter with which you write Satan (שטן).

But let me tell you the Hebrew letters hide many things. If you write Satan with the letter Tav instead of the letter Teth, then you will write the same “Satan”, you can say the same thing, Satan or Shatan. But written with Teth it means the adversary, yet with Tav it means urine. The point here is very clear, urine is Satan with Tav, and we urinate through our sexual organ. So, we are pointing always at the same thing, because if we talk about Satan with Teth, we point to the sexual organ, Yesod. So, to urinate is Satan written with Tav.

Now, if you take the final Nun out of the word Satan written with Tav, then you just leave the letters Shin and Tav, thus, you have the third son of Adam and Eve, Seth; which in another lecture somebody asked us "what does the word Seth mean in Hebrew?" we forgot, but now we remember, it means "buttocks." So it means the butt part, where you find the coccyx, from where the fire of Shin rises up, because Tav which is the cross is the letter that symbolizes Malkuth.

Anyhow, let us continue reading what the Book of Genesis says:

So Elohim created Adam in his own image, in the image of Elohim created he him, male and female created he them. – Genesis 1: 27

Behold here again, the Star of David, “male and female created he them, that ‘them’ means Adam, a perfect androgynous, made into Elohim’s own image.

Now tell me, if you want to describe Elohim and his own image or in other words, God and Adam, you will give a so beautiful description of them as a Light, shining with strength.   Since, if God is making somebody into his own image and into his own likeness, that one will shine like him as well, he will be very bright. And if we call him in Latin, Lucifer, well we will say, this is the translation for Adam, which is the Hebrew word for the primordial man, Adam Kadmon the primordial man. But when we are talking in Latin we call him Lucifer, because Lucifer is a Latin word, it is not a Hebrew word. But if we want to say Lucifer in Hebrew, we call him הילל (heylel) the "Glorified One," the glorious one, Adam Kadmon, who was controlling the Earth in the beginning. It is written in the Book of Genesis:

And God blessed them, and God said unto them (unto the androgynous Adam), Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. – Genesis 1: 28

In other words, “הילל (heylel) now command the Earth, you are the King of Nature, I gave it to you, it is the Garden of Eden.” So, Elohim blessed them, meaning, this male-female Being was blessed by Elohim and he said unto them "be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the Earth."

Thus, these creatures that were created in the earth were going to be fruitful and multiply, yet remember that they were androgynous, having in themselves the two forces, male and female, and like this they were multiplying or being fruitful to two forces. So, as we said in another lecture, when in Hebrew we say multiply, we say “Rabah” which also means Rabbi, which means Master.

As you see, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it.” should be “be fruitful and be a master of what I am giving to you,” that should be the translation. In other words, “develop everything that I am giving to you, which are your archetypes, and master them in the Earth.”

Sequentially:

And have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening (the darkness) and the [sun of the] morning were the sixth day. – Genesis 1: 28-31

Of course this Lucifer or Adam, as Genesis call him is הילל (heylel), because Lucifer is called the son of the morning, a child of the dawn, right? Yet, indeed, Adam or Lucifer is a child of the evening and the morning, the superior forces of the dawn of life, this is how the Book of Genesis describes it, that is, how Adam is created from the beginning through all of those days until the sixth day of Genesis, because Adam appears at the very end of the first chapter.

When man is created it's called Adam, but of course in Latin we said it is Lucifer or הילל (heylel) who God created Many Kabbalists state that those birds or fowl of the air that are commanded by Adam, are the Angels of Schamayim, because the translation in the Book of Genesis says "and command the birds of the air," but the reality is that it says "and command the angels of Schamayim, which is Heaven." And this is why it is written that Adam, the one who was created at the time, was even above the Angels, he commanded the angels.

Which angels are we talking about here? For there are many types of angels, the Monads from the lower kingdoms and those other Monads that are in Nirvana, Masters of the Spiral are called angels. Yet, the Adam created into the image of God, that we call in Latin Lucifer, in Gnosticism we call him Christus-Lucifer. We use the word Christus instead of Christ, from Greek, because Christus is a Greek word, the Messiah, the anointed one in Hebrew. This Adam was Christus-Lucifer, the one that was controlling the Earth and Heaven, the complete 100% developed Bodhisattva; which is that Monad that takes the Direct Path and self-realizes his Self to the point that it returns into the Absolute.

An example of one of those beings is Master Jesus, another example is Moses, or Mohammed, or Abraham, many of those Masters of the past that reach the level of Christus-Lucifer or Adam into the image of God. This is why when we read the Bible we read הילל (heylel) in the Book of Isaiah. When Isaiah describes this הילל (heylel) or Christus-Lucifer or the son of the evening and the morning, as the book of Genesis describes it. And as you know the story of the Bible that Adam-Heylel fell into sin, because he was trying to be more beautiful, or more perfect like God who created him. He wanted to reach higher levels of understanding, and because he couldn't control the darkness, his wife Eve or his counterpart, he fell. And that is what Isaiah wrote the following:

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this (Adam) the (Ish) man (fire) that made the earth to tremble, that did shake Malkuth? Isaiah 14: 12-16

"How art thou fallen from Schamayim," which is the Upper Eden, "oh הילל (heylel) glorified one," which in the Bible is translated as "oh Lucifer." We said “glorified one” because that is the right translation from Hebrew. If you want to translate that into Latin, then we can say Lucifer, yet remember that Lucifer is something different as people think. Lucifer is the same Adam that is the "son of the evening and the morning, the sixth day. Sequentially, “how art thou cast down to the ground;" the ground is Adamah, this is how “the ground” is called in Hebrew. Adamah is the opposite of Adam. Adamah is the Earth. "Which didst weaken the nations, for thou hast said in thy heart, I will ascend into Schamayim;" into Heaven, the Upper Eden.

Sequentially, "I will exalt my throne," what is the throne of God? How do we, or how any being created into the image of God, can exalt themselves more? In the Gnostic lectures we explained to you that the throne of God is the spinal medulla. In it we have the fire of Shechinah. That is why it is called the glorified one. Why were we glorified ones, or how are those beings glorified ones? It is because the glory of God is in the spinal medulla. That glory of God in Hebrew or better said, in Aramaic is called Shechinah.   The word Shechinah is written with Shin, Shechinah is Fire, the glory of God. The female aspect of God rises in the spinal column and protrudes on top of the head as the tongue of fire. Thus, "I will exalt my throne," means I will increase the Light of my Shechinah, in other words, I will increase the Light of my Shechinah which is in my spinal column which in Sanskrit is called Kundalini. So, I will increase the fire of my Kundalini, the Light of my Divine Mother in my spinal column in order to be more enlightened, this is what in simple words is stated.

"And I will exalt my throne above the stars of God, I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north." What is the mount of the congregation in the physical body of that beautiful androgynous? The mount is of the congregation is the pineal gland. The Mount of the Skull as well, if you want, the Mount of Sinai if you want too, which is the Pineal Gland, that is the mount. Because through the Pineal Gland we control the multitudes, the Pineal Gland has the force that can be in control of the forces of the Mental Plane. So the mount of the congregation is the top of the head. In the Pineal Gland we have the atom of the Holy Spirit, which is called Binah. This is why Isaiah says "I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north." which is the Pineal Gland, I will sit means the soul will sit. I mean, the seat of the soul is the Pineal Gland. Thus here in the Pineal Gland where we have the seat of the soul is where the sides of the north are. What is the north?

kabbalah-the-tree-of-lifeWell when you know Kabbalah, you have to study the Tree of Life. East is in Tiphereth, it is the east because in Tiphereth is where we have the sun, Tiphereth is symbolized by the sun. So when you say east of Eden, means the Light that is going up to Tiphereth, Kether and farther to the Ain Soph Aur. Remember that Aur means Light. So the east, or the Light, that we have to transmute has to rise to Tiphereth, even to Kether and beyond to that Abstract Sun that we call the Astral Sun, the Solar Force, the Absolute Abstract Solar Force which is in the 7th dimension. This is what in Kabbalah is called east; this is why when you say, what is the east in the Tree of Life? Well it is the solar energy that goes from Yesod up to the Ain Soph Aur. Yet, it is written:

Expect nothing from the East but from the West; Even though creatures do not know anything about any expected thing.

And what is west? Well west is Malkuth, the planet Earth, where the sun sets. What do you mean the sun sets? The Solar Light from the Ain Soph Aur sets in Malkuth. The Ray of Creation descends from the Ain Soph Aur down to Malkuth. Aur descends like lightning into Malkuth, which is where the sun sets, or in other words, all the forces of the Universe, the Tree of Life set in Malkuth, in our physical body, in the Earth. This is why Malkuth is called the west, where the sun sets. Thus, thank goodness we have the physical body, since, all the Light of the universe sets here in our physical body. But it is only up to us to raise that Light by means of our sexual behavior in order to make the morning, because we are the evening. The evening contains the fire, which is west. When the sun sets in the west what happens? What comes after that? What comes after that is darkness. So we are darkness, but this darkness is a charcoal which has the fire, which carries the Light. All depends on us, if we take that Light from this darkness, which is the west, the earth, and to rise it up to the Ain Soph Aur.

So the south is called Chokmah, the side, the right side of the Tree of Life. That is the south, and the north is Binah. Thus, south is to the right of the Tree of Life and the north is to the left of the Tree of Life. So when you say north, you are talking about Binah. Now Binah, we repeat, is the Holy Spirit, it is Shiva. We have an atom of the Holy Spirit in the Pineal Gland. So when we read: “I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north,” we are talking about Binah, in the Pineal Gland. The verse is very explicit: The mount is the top of the head and the north is the Pineal Gland because in it we have an atom of the Holy Spirit. Thus, in order to exalt our Self more we have to raise that Light to the sides of the north.  The Pineal Gland is the gland related with the crown chakra, Sahasrara in Sanskrit. We talk about that chakra in many lectures, such chakra is related with Kether, Binah, Chokmah, and even with the Ain Soph Aur. It is the chakra that connects us to Heaven (Schamayim) when we know the doctrine. Yes, through chastity is how we have to exalt ourselves, to glorify ourselves in that way. That is, to rise the Light of Shechinah to the sides of the north, Binah, the Holy Spirit.

"I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the most High," who is the most High? well the most High is Kether in Tree of Life. But beyond Kether is the Ain Soph Aur, and beyond the most High is the Ain Soph, our particular star. Similar to what is written in that song “The Man of la Mancha”:

This is my quest, to follow that star ...
No matter how hopeless, no matter how far ...
To fight for the right, without question or pause ...
To be willing to march into Hell, for a Heavenly cause ...

Well this is the longing of all knights, right? This is what we want, and this is what Adam wanted at that time, to exalt himself more, because God was so beautiful he wanted to be more, better said, to have more of God within himself.

Thereafter Isaiah says: "Yet, thou shalt be brought down to Gehenom," which in English means Hell. “To the sides of the pit,” the sides of the pit are in Malkuth because from here, from Malkuth we are trying to go up again, otherwise, we go down into Klipoth.  “They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee (at you, in other words), and consider thee, saying, is this (Adam) the (Ish) man (the male-fire or if you prefer Latin “is this Lucifer;” in Hebrew it says, “Is this Ish?” the male-fire “that made the earth to tremble, that did shake Malkuth?”

In the Bible it says that these shake the nations or in other words, the kingdoms, but in Hebrew it is written Malkuth, and Malkuth is the Earth. Remember that in the beginning God said:

(Obd) Bear fruit and (Od) be a Master, and replenish the earth (Malkuth), and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. – Genesis 1: 28

DragonyinyangYet, now Isaiah says: “Is this (Adam) the (Ish) man (fire) that made the earth to tremble, that did shake Malkuth?  Well Adam-Heylel was sunk into Klipoth because he ate from the fruit that he shouldn't have eaten. And this Adam is this (Ish) man or male-fire, Luxi-fire. So you see how these verses of Isaiah are connected with the same Adamic myth.  When you know Alchemy and Kabbalah you know very well that Adam is the same Odic light (the Odic fire which is associated with Eve, the Obdic breath like in the Hindu Prana-Yama, and the Yin-qi and Yang-qi or Dragon of Asians) Lucifer that was made beautiful in the beginning.

Satan

Now, let us see here how Satan enters into action, Satan the adversary. Listen Satan is within Adam too, because Adam is in equilibrium. As you see, this Christus-Lucifer that we are talking about here, or the Adam of the Book of Genesis is in equilibrium, יהוה his male-female aspects are not disequilibrated, because they are following Elohim. Notwithstanding, in order for us, as Monads - as we explained in other lectures - to exalt ourselves more from the level in which we are, there has to be a division of sexes; because if any Monad (Atman-Buddhi-Manas) wants to exalt and to be like Elohim (Kether, Chokmah, Binah) there has to be a division of sexes. Remember it is to be “like God,” and not to be “a God,” which is different, “to be a God” is not possible, “to be like God” is possible and this is precisely what we are to be; remember that it is written:

This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that Elohim created Adam, in the likeness of Elohim made he him; male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. – Genesis 5: 1, 2

This does not mean that Adam is another God like the Father, Adam is something like יהוה. The following verse explains what we have to understand.

And יהוה said unto Moses, See, I have made thee an Elohim to Pharaoh (Malkuth’s King): and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet....and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent. - Exodus 7: 1

So here in Malkuth is where we are and this is why Jesus of Nazareth said:

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. – Matthew 5: 48

In other words Solomon said:

There is nothing better for Adam, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul (Nephesh) enjoy good (Tob, Od) in his (sexual) labor. This also I saw, that it was from the hand (Iod) of Elohim. - Ecclesiastes 2:24

Make thy light to shine as it is shining in your Father who is in Heaven, who is a shining Angel. So you should be like him; make his light, Lucifer to shine within you.

Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. - Matthew 10: 16

Yet, in order to do it we need the assistance of the lower forces and to know about how, in order to do it. In order for us to create Light, in order for us to be enlightened, we need to know how to take that Light from the darkness. In other words, we need Satan in order to make the Light to shine.

In order to show you how and not to be scared, let me show you how the same Jesus developed that Light because of Satan. It is written in the very beginning of the Book of Matthew:

And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens (Schamayim) were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God (the Ruach Elohim) descending like a dove (the Holy Spirit, which is called Binah), and lighting upon him (in the sides of the north, which is Binah, heaven, the Pineal Gland): And lo a voice from heaven (Schamayim), saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit (of God) into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. – Matthew 3: 16, 17; 4:1

The Holy Spirit descending like a dove and lighting upon Jesus is Binah who said: “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased,” is the same Spirit who took him into the wilderness in order to be tested by Satan or by the devil.

Thus, Jesus is being tested in the wilderness, but how was this devil testing him? How was Satan testing him? Well, in many pictures that you see there or that you see in Gothics, you see the devil outside telling at the ear of Jesus "do this, do that, or give me this," right? No, that is wrong, because that devil is not outside of him, that Satan is inside of him. This Satan is the opposite of God, and that Satan is inside of each one of us. When you are tempted, when you are suggested to do something, you do not hear any voice outside of you, but from inside, this is how you are tempted. So, all of the things that we do, evil things, comes from inside.

And Jesus called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth Adam; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth Adam. – Matthew 15: 10-11

So when Jesus is taken by the Spirit, that Spirit is inside of him; or what do you think is the Spirit that lighting upon him, outside of him or is it inside of him? It is inside of him of course, but that Spirit has his counterpart because it is represented in the Star of David, the counterpart of that Spirit is his shadow, is Satan. They say: “now we have to make Light within this Being in which we are incarnated, so let us take him into the wilderness, into the ordeals of life of course, so that he can make Light from the darkness. This is why Master Samael Aun Weor stated: "temptation is fire," we would say that such fire is dark fire; and if we triumph over that temptation, we make Light; this is easy to understand, because this is how Elohim made the Universe, God made it from the darkness, thus, we want to imitate him. So, if we want to be shiny as God, well then we have to defeat the darkness. The darkness will tempt us, because the darkness tempts us in order to show us how we can make light.

Your own Satan might say: “oh you want to have Light? What you meant is that you want to have virtues, because God is virtuous, and you are a sinner. So, you want to be like God? Well create virtues, you don't know how? Okay, let me show you the opposite of that virtue that you have to build, but for that I have to tempt you. Through my temptation you will see, the lust, the anger, the pride that you have within, and then you will see that within that darkness there is Light. If you comprehend, if you understand that darkness, comprehension will be Light within you. And then you will shine in the sides of north, the Pineal Gland; because virtue is tested in the fire.”  Thus, if we are tested, we are tempted, yet, if we are defeated, then we are not creating virtues, we are not creating Light, we are instead sinking into the mud, and living in the darkness.

So, this precisely what happened when God put the man whom he had formed in Eden and divided the sexes, what happened after that division in Eden, when the sexes were divided? Darkness came through Eve because she belongs to Darkness, the lower triangle, right? Thus, this is why through Eve Satan starts doing his job.

Desire

Adam did not look at Eve's light until יהוה Elohim took her out of him, thus seduced by the 'Obd light' they sinned, and knew that they were naked, that is, their beauty, their light was removed from them. Thereafter, Adam looked at her with lust and recognized her for the purpose of animal reproduction. This is the essence of the verse, "And Adam ‘Od’ knew his wife ‘Obd’ again and she conceived, and bare Kain, and said, I have gotten a man from יהוה" (Genesis 4:25). - Zohar

Satan says to יהוה: “this Christus-Lucifer or this Adam-Heylel wants more Light, in order to be like us knowing good and evil, ok let us see if he can take the Light out from the darkness.” Thus, Satan starts the temptation through the woman. In here we have to understand that within each one of us, when we are not fallen, when we are standing with Light within, we have the letter Shin inside, in our back. That letter Shin is represented by the central column and the right and the left column of the tree of life. This is how you see the letter Shin or fire, beginning with Yesod here at the base of the tree of life; this is how you find the letter Shin. This is why when we talk about the letter Shin we are talking about the Tree of Life, the spinal column and the caduceus of Mercury. That is what we call the three serpents, the two serpents that are entwined around the caduceus or the spinal medulla, and the third serpent is the Shechinah (the brazen serpent), which is the glory of God in the center, in the spinal column. When that glory of God is shining in the spinal medulla and the two serpents Od and Obd entwined around that caduceus, behold Christus-Lucifer very well balanced. Because the three Lights that represent the three primary forces are in equilibrium, in balance within Adam-Heylel.

Obd-Aur-Od

Now then, after the division of sexes, when the shadow of God comes through the female aspect, which is always in the left column of the tree of life - we explained this in other lectures - yet let us explain it again. It is written:

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which יהוה Elohim had made. - Genesis 3: 1

That is that Obd serpent which is the female aspect which has access to the Light and to the darkness.

And the Obd serpent said to the sexual organ, the female, the woman. “Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” - Genesis 3: 1

And the woman said unto the Obd serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

And the (Obd) serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil (light and darkness). Genesis 3: 2 -5

Satan should have said: “Ye shall not surely die if you don't eat it as animals; otherwise you will die. Thus, if you eat from it in the way that we, Elohim, know now, which is sexual transmutation, if you perform the sexual union and if you do not spill the water, the sexual fluid, then the Light will shine more and you will be enlightened,” such should have been the right answer right?

But the woman took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat; that is, the sexual organ fornicated, she spilled the fire and the brain experienced the orgasm with her Thus, when that happened they discovered that they were already without the Light, the Light of Shechinah that was rising, which is called Kundalini, in their spinal column, went off, went completely out. Because the Light of Shechinah is sustained by the two polarities, the two polarities are male-female, which in the Bible are called ish and isha. And we said ish is Od the male aspect of the fire, isha is Obd the female apsect of the fire, the Shin.

In other words, when these two polarities are united in Yesod, in the sexual act, then Shechinah, the glory of God, which is the Kundalini, rises in the spinal column. But if in the sexual act, ignoring that the fuel of that Light is the oil which is called Shemen in Hebrew, in other words, that Shemen or oil is the semen. Thus, if you spill the Shemen then there is no Light, the lamp of Aladdin goes out. And then Shechinah disappears from the spinal column, thus, there is no more glory, that Being is no more glorious, because his glory has disappeared, because the glory of God is his wife, the Shechinah that rises in the spinal column.

This is why in Hebrew, in the Bible you find that man, male is called ish and female isha, because they relate to male and female the two polarities of “Esh,” the fire. And Satan is Teth that force that is also fire that acts through the woman in the world of Yesod, which is sex.

Well you know that the serpent said: “For the Elohim doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as Elohim, knowing good and evil.” Thus, if we know how to eat from that tree like the Elohim we will then be like them knowing good and evil, we will be then exalted.

Now, the problem which those creatures of the past had, they whom we call Adam and Eve, who were not only one man and one woman but who represented a whole race, the Lemurian race, committed the mistake of performing the sexual act out of the temples and when they did it in their homes without guidance they fornicated like the beasts. And because they fornicated, they became like any beast in the earth that is born, grow up, grow old, and die.

Notwithstanding, Adam-Heylel or that androgynous being of the Bible, that Lucifer or Christus-Lucifer was not a fornicator, because Elohim created Adam-Heylel in his own image, in the image of Elohim created he Adam. They were the chaste male and female (androgynous) Chasmalim, the Lemurian race.  Thus, the glory of the Elohim, the Shechinah shone in their spinal column. Yet, it is written that when they were already fallen because of their fornication, since they didn't use the sexual act in the right way, they heard the voice of God in the garden.

And they heard the voice of יהוה Elohim vanishing ("walking") in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of יהוה Elohim amongst the trees of the garden. Genesis 3: 8

When you read, “they heard the voice of God vanishing in the garden” you might think is God talking? In Kabbalah, in Alchemy, the voice of God is similar as when you touch your palette to the roof of your mouth and pronounce the sound of the letter "Hei" of Iod-Hei-Vav-Hei, which is the sacred name of God. But the sound of the "Hei" is like a hiss, touching your palette to the roof of your mouth; that is the voice of God; in other words, the “Hei” the female aspect. The voice of God is the female aspect related with Shechinah. Thus, this is why when they committed the mistake of fornicating it is written that "they heard the voice of יהוה Elohim vanishing in the garden" that sound is produced inside, in Daath, the throat, and overheard by the Vishuddha  chakra, the faculty of hearing, of listening, which in Kabbalah is related with Vav, the spinal column. The letter Vav is related with the faculty of hearing – about Vav we talked to you and told you about in the lectures “Alphabet of Kabbalah.”

So when you read “And they heard the voice God vanishing in the garden," it means that after their fornication they heard the “Hei,”  the voice, the Hiss of יהוה Elohim, the female aspect of God, the Divine Serpent Kundalini, the Shechinah like this "hhhhhhhhh," vanishing there through the spinal column, no longer there in the spinal column.

And יהוה Elohim called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

And יהוה Elohim, Binah, from the Pineal Gland called unto the male aspect, the Brain and said unto him where is your "hhhhh," where is your female aspect, the Light of Shechinah, where is the glory, my glory, where is it; it is written in simple words "where art thou?" yet, where are thou? means where is thy "hhhhhhhhh," implying, where is your “Hei”, your Shechinah? It vanished.

And he said, I heard thy voice (thy Hei) in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. And he said, who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? (Thus this is why Shechinah vanished)

When Adam and Eve hid themselves from the presence of יהוה Elohim amongst the trees of the garden, which trees are these? Adam and Eve were naked thus they hide amongst the trees, what trees are we talking about here? In the Garden grow several symbolic trees that were pleasant to the sight, and good for food, but there are only two main trees in the Garden which we are concerned with, namely, the Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil which are in the midst of the Garden, this means that these trees are entwined in the spinal column. So, when Adam and Eve heard the voice of God, which was there in the middle, in the spinal medulla, a voice that is vanishing there, they hide amongst those trees, Adam hides in the right side and Eve in the left side.

And he said, who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?” (thus you have eaten like the beasts, and this is why now you are naked, implying you have not glory) And Adam said, the woman (Eve, the sexual organ) whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. And יהוה Elohim said unto the woman, what is this (bestiality) that thou hast done? And the woman said, the serpent (Obd) beguiled me, and I did eat. – Genesis 3: 11-13

And this is why יהוה Elohim addresses the serpent, what serpent? The serpent Obd which is in the left, which is related with the sexual fluid:

And יהוה Elohim said unto the serpent, because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. - Genesis 3: 14-15

"And dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life," which is the dust of the ground. The ground is Malkuth. But, what do you think the statement “the serpent will eat dust all the days of its life” means? Well, in order to understand about that we must go into the next sentence, when God said to Adam:

In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. - Genesis 3: 19

The ground, Adamah, is Malkuth, in other words, the fallen Obd serpent that is a fornicator is eating us, he feeds off us, we are dust, we were created from the dust of the earth. We are from the dust of the earth and to the dust we will return, this is why unto the serpent was said " and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life."

In other words, that Satan, the fallen serpent is inside of us. Yes, Satan, the fallen serpent is not outside as many people think: "oh the serpent is Satan outside, yes, the serpent that tempted Adam and Eve that beautiful couple long time ago; and now Satan is outside trying to make us sin." Wrong! Satan is inside of us all the time, Satan is that fallen serpent which makes the tail of Satan in us and feeds itself from us because we are dust of the earth, as it is written: “for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return” and God said to the serpent: "and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life." So Satan is inside of us, yet, people are looking for Satan outside, meanwhile everybody carries Satan inside.

We stated in other lectures that when that misfortune fell upon Adam and Eve, they then had their first son, and that first son was Kain. We explained that Kain mean "nest" and that the Solar Light makes a nest in us and that is Kain, which constitute the serpent; we also said that when we transmute the solar energy we create the Solar Man. But when we fornicate (spill the solar energy) what we create is a bestial mind. Thus, Kain is the origin of the animal mind that we have, Kain is the mind nourished by lust. And that is why Jesus when referring to the people of that time 2,000 years ago, he said:

Ye are of your father the devil (whose offspring is the outcome of fornication), and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning. – John 8: 44

Who is the one that killed from the beginning? Was it not Kain? So in other words what Jesus is saying is that we are children of Kain. Yes, the root in us of the sinful mind that we have is Kain.

The book of Zohar states that Kain is the same fallen serpent. Zohar is very explicit when saying that Kain is our mind which is the first outcome of fornication and that such mind is the seed of the serpent.  This is why when the man and the woman committed the mistake of fornicating like the beasts, יהוה Elohim said to the fallen serpent:

Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field. - Genesis 3: 14

The field is Yesod, sex, in other words, we are cursed above all cattle because we activate the sexual force like cattle, like every beast of the field which drive out their sexual seed through orgasm, which is fornication, thus, "upon thy belly shall thou go and dust shall thou eat all the days of your life."

And here comes a very intriguing thing, remember that it is God the one who is addressing the serpent Obd, יהוה Elohim said:

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. - Genesis 3: 15

Who is the woman? The woman here refers to the sexual organ, when we utilize it in the right way, and “Thee” is Obd, which is the serpent of fornication. In other words, who is that enmity that is between the seed of God in the woman (the Shechinah) and the seed of the fallen serpent? That enmity is the adversary, who is Satan. In other words "and I will put Satan, my shadow, between your seed, and her seed." So that Satan is inside of us between the seed of the serpent Obd, which is the fallen serpent, that seed is Kain, and all the generations after Kain which are inside of us.

The seed of the woman is the generation of that woman (sexual organ) that follows the path of chastity, she is the Kundalini of that initiate that enters into the path and takes care of the sexual force, because the woman which is the Shechinah rises in the spinal medulla when we enter into chastity. When the fires of Kundalini enter into activity that is the seed of the woman; the first seed of the woman is called Abel.

Abel the first seed of the woman is positive, whereas Kain is negative; yet Kain is stronger than Abel because he is the son of the fallen serpent, Kain is the ego inside of us. In other words, what we call "my pride, my vanity, my laziness, my lust, all of that is Kain, the generation of the seed of Kain, or the serpent. All of that is in enmity within us when we enter into the path of regeneration. When we enter the path of regeneration we want to make Light in the darkness, right? We want to awake our Shechinah, yet Satan is there inside of us, testing us.

Because of your fault, says Satan, of having utilized your sexual force in the wrong way, now my seed with Obd, the serpent, the fallen serpent, is all of this filthiness that you have within, rooted in your lust comes out of me; thus, anger, pride, laziness, gluttony, all of that is the seed of the serpent.

When you enter in this path you want to act uprightly, perfect, you want to follow the commandments of God, meanwhile, the enemy is inside of you, because God put that enmity there in order to show you the mistake that you made, and Satan is that enmity. Every time that you want to do something perfect, you want to do chastity, Satan appears within you and says "look at that woman, do you like her?" or if you are woman Satan says "look at that man is not he handsome?" then you say "uh-uh I shouldn't see because I am following the path of God, I have to be perfect, chaste." And then Satan says "forget about that," and pushes out the lust from inside of us, that lust is Satan’s seed inside of us. So, in the end we start following Satan’s seed, thus, this is how we are in enmity all the time.

When we are on this path, there is an enmity between Satan and the woman, yet if we follow the right thing that is, the seed of the woman, then she will crush the head of the serpent, which is called Judas, Pilate, and Caiaphas inside of us. Pilate, the demon of the mind that washes his hands, the mind that always justifies its defects, "no no, says the mind, I am just watching this pornography or reading this because I have to know myself, you know," this is how Pilate justifies, always washing his hands, he says:  "I'm here just wanted, just trying to be perfect."

Judas is in the sex, he completely betrays the Lord by openly committing adultery or by selling his Lord for mundane things. All the power of the Christic energy that we have within the sexual, motor instinctual center we utilize for what? Through the motor center we squander energy for any activity in order to make more money; we say “we have to be rich, in order to be successful in life.” So Judas pushes you, and say "sell your lord, forget about your Christic force, you have to be successful here in this Earth, forget about the kingdom of Heaven.  But Jesus do not want you to be president or the King of Israel, Jesus says no my Kingdom is not from this world, thus Judas is discouraged because of that because Judas want to have a strong army in this world, but this is our Judas.

Caiaphas hates the Lord; he is the evil will in our heart. Caiaphas is that desire that we always satisfy at every time; we know that we are doing the wrong thing, but we do not care. A wrong thing that we should not do, because in accordance with the Law of God, in accordance with the scriptures, in accordance to the path that we are following we should not do, but any how we do it because we have the need, the evil will to do it. In other words, Caiaphas does not care; he himself is evil will, self-willed.

So these three traitors, Judas, Pilate, and Caiaphas, form the upside-down triangle inside of us, and this is why Judas, Pilate, and Caiaphas form the head of the serpent, because Satan controls them, because through fornication you created them, now you have to defeat them. And in order to defeat them you have to be tempted by Satan in order to show you how they act through you, thus, if you defeat Satan, then you will be crucified and resurrect. Regrettably, not all of us pass the tests of Satan.  This is why it is written:

From that time forth began Jesus to show unto his disciples, how (was he going to pass the ordeals in order to defeat Satan) that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Then Peter took him, (thus, Satan entered into Peter) and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but (the dust) those that be of men. – Matthew 16: 21-23

So in the path we always experience Peter inside of us and outside of us, who says: “hey don't do that, it is too painful.” But Jesus says clear to Peter "don't tempt me, I want the things of God, not the things of men, for the things of men are dust," and Satan feed itself with the dust of the Earth, that is, with us. That dust in other words is all of that that we have within, defects, vices, and errors. So we have to defeat that in order to defeat Satan, we can comprehend the ego and annihilate our defects and vices in order to triumph on this path, but we will never eliminate Satan. Because Satan is the opposite aspect of God and Satan is inside of us because God needs him in order for us to be tempted, as he tempted Jesus, who was tempted by his own Satan.

Now, in other symbols, Satan is always symbolized by the mind, in other words, in the mind is where we have the throne of Satan or the den of Satan, which utilizes the mind in order to tempt us. Remember that Kain is the mind

So, in synthesis, before the fall, we were like Christus-Lucifer, like Adam-Heylel in the Garden of Eden, enjoying all the powers that God granted unto us in order to command the whole Earth. But when we committed the mistake of fornicating, we went out of Eden, out of Schamayim, out of Heaven and fell into the ground. Now, we are the dust of the earth and Satan inside of us is feeding itself with that dust that we created. Thus, our mission is to raise the fallen serpent and to eliminate Kain, the ego; yet without the help of Satan, without temptation is impossible, we cannot do it.

There is a word in Hebrew which is Vashat (ושט), you take the final nun from the word Shatan and place it at the beginning of the letter Shin and Teth, the nun then becomes the letter Vav and you read “Veshat,” which means esophagus, as you know you put all what you eat in there. When you eat in the wrong way the letter Vav of “Vashat” esophagus, elongates, thus becoming the letter Nun, final Nun. As many times we said, the letter Vav and the letter Nun are the same letter. The esophagus elongates when you are glutton, or when you are eating in the wrong way so that Vashat becomes your Satan. And this is why it is written:

But of the tree of Daath of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. – Genesis 2: 17

Kabbalistically, this means do not use your Vashat, your esophagus in the wrong way. Since all of this mystery where this Vashet or esophagus is, begins from the larynx because here in the throat is the top of Tree of Good and Evil, Daath, that gives us knowledge, which is its fruits, because the very roots of the tree of knowledge are in the sexual organs. So here in the throat are the fruits, and in the sex are the roots of the Tree of Good and Evil. So when Adam and Eve took from the fruit, they put it in there Vashat, in their throat, in their esophagus, in Daath. And this is how it is written symbolically that they ate, and when they did it, they engulfed themselves with the fruit of desire. And the letter Vav (spinal medulla) elongated into the final Nun (the tail of Satan), that is, Vashat became Satan, desire in the belly. And since that moment we engulfed ourselves with desire. Thus, from here, from the belly comes out desire, because we ate it; thus now everything that comes out is the outcome of that action. This is why Master Jesus said:

Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth Adam; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth Adam. – Matthew 15: 11

If you do not digest (transform) that which you eat (food, air, impressions), what comes out of it is just defects, vices, errors which we have to control from inside; because Satan pushes from inside the belly all of the egos that relate with indigestion (degeneration) in order for us to be tempted by the devil.

This is how Jesus was tempted, in the wilderness. It is not like people think, that Jesus was tempted from outside, no; it was from inside, from his own mind, from his own egos, which at that time were tempting him; Satan was pushing them. But Jesus was triumphant, he defeated Satan. In the same way, we have to be tested, in the same way we have to be tempted; are we going to be triumphant as Jesus? We have the same forces, the same elements, the same fires that Jesus had and became triumphant; yes, the same elements are inside of us. If we follow his example of course we will be triumphant. But it is not by reading or memorizing the Bible, that we are going to follow his example, but by overcoming the temptations of Satan, which are inside of us, not outside, these are in your mind, in your heart, in your sex, these are the three traitors.  Thus Satan is darkness, and Satan is temptation. If we defeat temptation, we make Light in the darkness, that is precisely the mystery of the Satanists of the Middle Ages; they were not condemning Satan because they understood that Satan was the shadow of God. Thus, why are we going to condemn the shadow of God, or why are we sending Satan to hell or blaspheming against the shadow of God?

Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. But these (ignoramuses) speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Kain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. – Jude 1: 9-11

Thus, when that shadow of God accomplishes his duty God then absorbs him because it is his own shadow, then the ring with the Star of David in the right hand of that initiate appears as a sign of triumph. The Star of David means, I triumphed against the enemy which is the shadow of my own God and that is why I am now shining, this is what Jesus did, in other words he defeated Satan and became Christus-Lucifer or Adam-Heylel.

I am (Adam) the root and the offspring of David, and (Lucifer) the bright and morning star. - Revelation 22: 16

Question:  Can you explain about the Tongue of Fire that appears on top of the head of the apostles.

Answer: Well that happens in anybody who knows about the mystery of the fire that we are talking about here; Ish, the male fire and Isha, the female fire which are related with the Caduceus of Mercury. The male fire is in the right, the female fire is in the left, and when they are united in Yesod then the fire of Shechinah rises and appears on the mount of the congregation in the sides of the north, which is Binah, the Pineal Gland, thereafter that fire goes into the atmosphere and is like a tongue of fire. That appears 7 times because the true man has seven bodies, the first tongue that appears on top of the head is the tongue of fire related with the physical body. It is when the glory of God, the Shechinah has risen from the Muladhara chakra, which is called the Earth through the medulla to the top of the head. So, we have to rise that Shechinah 7 times or 7 Kundalinis, we have to develop the 7 tongues of fire.

Question: Do you raise it all at once or a bit at a time, more intense fire as you go...

Answer: Well that tongue of fire that rises and shines is the Shechinah; actually I told you in other lectures that this is why in many religions they use the turban or the Kippah or the hat in order to hide for the clairvoyant eye that Shechinah or that flame or tongue of fire, which is the outcome of chastity. Of course that tongue of fire in order to be shown here on top of the head, you need to rise the 33 degrees of fire, 33 vertebrae, which is the symbol of the 33 years of life of Master Jesus. If you remember the lecture about the letter Zayin, in it we explained that Zayin which relates to the fallen serpent is also related with the tongue, as well as with the sword. So when that flame rises and reaches the top of the head it is because we are reaching chastity, it is because M.M. Mary Magdalene is no longer a prostitute, she became a saint within us, you know? Because related with this symbol of Alchemy, Mary Magdalene is that fallen serpent, that fallen woman, who represents in all of us the wrong use of the sexual organ, sex in the wrong way, but when we start using it in the right way that prostitute disappears and becomes a chaste woman inside of us. And the proof of that is that tongue of fire that appears on top of the head, which means a chaste person in all the levels of understanding, which means Binah.

Question: Can you tell us about the temptations or tests that Satan puts on us all the time.

Answer: Satan’s main temptation is in sex, that is his main thing, that is why it is written if we triumph in sexual temptation, we triumph over any temptation. But we do not have to put our weapons down, you know? Because also Satan knows that he could put you down through alcohol or through pride as well; for instance Satan can tempt you as it is written in the Bible:

Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, this is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world. When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone. – John 6: 14, 16

They are going to proclaim Jesus King of Israel, president of that nation, yet Jesus rejects it because that is related with pride. So, when you enter in this path, Satan, your mind will tell you, “hey you could be proclaimed here Master and you will be famous and people will worship you, why don't you utter your name? Say it! You will see how I will give you all the kingdoms of the Earth,” this is what your mind will say unto you. This is how, most of initiates fall into the path of hasnamussen because of pride, and after that they say "I am such and such reincarnation" and then they fail in that temptation and Satan starts feeding their mind through pride. Alcohol, many initiates fail because of alcohol, because alcohol resuscitates the egos that we were comprehended or annihilated.

Question: If you were to ask me, where is the nearest liquor store and I would tell you where it was, you know not knowing what your going to do once you get to the liquor store, would that be an example of a test that was given to me and I failed?

Answer: But in which way were you tempted or tested, just by knowing where the liquor store is? Oh you gave the person the address?

Well that is using the virtue of being courteous with a person in the wrong way because Satan uses virtues also in the wrong way; this is something very important regarding Satan, in some virtuous persons - when there is not defects to manipulate - then Satan pushes such people to use their virtues in the wrong way; many people use wrong virtues, they use them in the wrong way. To be courteous is to answer the right way: if they ask, "hey can you tell me please where is this bar here?” Then you answer: “oh I don't know really, I'm sorry”  But if you indicate the place and say "Oh yeah its around the corner," thus the guy go there and get drunk, so we are pushing him, helping him to vice, to get drunk. So of course in that case we will say that you allowed your own mind to use a virtue in the wrong way, so we have to know how to use virtues. As we said in other lectures, not to give alms to a drug addict,

instead give to those that are really in need, that is good. But if you don't know that - when you give money to some beggar - he is going to use that money for drugs, then Satan is using your own virtue in the wrong way and you think "I'm doing good," no, you are worshipping Satan, the shadow is overpowering you, you see.

So Satan is always a good fellow that will act against you all the time, in order to force you to develop the right virtues and to force you to use them in the right way. When you triumph over him, behold Job, read the Book of Job in it you see in the very beginning how Satan is doing the commands of Jehovah and putting Job to test, it is written:

PangenetorNow there was a day when the Beni Elohim came to present themselves before יהוה, and Satan came also among them. And יהוה said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered יהוה, and said, from going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. And יהוה said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth Elohim, and escheweth evil? Then Satan answered יהוה, and said, Doth Job fear Elohim for nought? Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face. And יהוה said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of יהוה. – Job 1: 6-12

Thus, Satan comes down and takes everything from Job under the command of God and in the end Job succeeds:

Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, and said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: יהוה gave, and יהוה hath taken away; blessed be the name of יהוה. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged Elohim foolishly. - Job 1: 20-22

Again there was a day when the Beni Elohim came to present themselves before יהוה, and Satan came also among them to present himself before יהוה. And יהוה said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered יהוה, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. And יהוה said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause. And Satan answered יהוה, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life. But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face. And יהוה said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life. So went Satan forth from the presence of יהוה, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown. And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes.
Then said his (Isha) wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die (that is, eat the forbidden fruit, fornicate, and die). But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good (Tob) at the hand (Iod) of God, and shall we not receive evil (Rah)? In all this did not Job sin with his lips. - Job 2: 1-10

So Job is defeating Satan, he is using the virtues in the right way, but what is what common and ordinary people do when they are passing terrible ordeals. They said "Oh God, why are you doing this to me?" Right? And they blame God about that, and then Satan says "oh yes I triumph here," this unfortunately is what happened to us and that is why we need meditation, analysis, comprehension.

Question: Is Lucifer the tempter different than the ego, will he tempt you through the ego or is he the ego?

Answer: No, Lucifer is not the ego. Satan is the fallen Lucifer of course, but Satan is not the ego either. Notwithstanding, the ego is Satanic because it is the outcome of the fall or the wrong use of the sexual creative force, which is called Lucifer. So, if we defeat the ego we are defeating Satan, but at the end when we are clean of any defect, vice, and error, Satan is there, transformed into Lucifer. So he might say to God: “well what can I do now? This fellow defeat me in many ways,” so God might says "ok your job is done, he is perfect, come into me," Thus God will absorb him. Then Satan returns into the same source because in the end (Eheieh Asher Eheieh) He is what He is, He is the shadow of He. And the son which is the soul Tiphereth becomes as well thanks to Satan more enlightened after having defeated all his egos.

Nevertheless, you have to be always careful because that shadow is inside of us, it is always there. If God wants to see if you are strong, he sends Satan. This is what happened for instance with Master Samael Aun Weor in the beginning of this root race, he was already perfect, a Christus-Lucifer, Adam-Heylel into the image of God. Thus, the sexual act for him was prohibited, because it is not necessary for a Christus-Lucifer or Adam-Heylel to have sexual act unless it is under the command of God. But Master Samael Aun Weor said that he became in love with a beautiful woman, and he knew that he should not touch her. But anyhow he fell in love and took her in the sexual act, so, when he took her in the sexual act then the shadow of his own God entered into action: Satan probably said, "oh somebody is calling me, I have nothing to do but now I am seeing that I am pulling down from the heights," and then his Satan descended and said, "oh he wants to do the sexual act, let me help him." Thus, Satan helped him and he fornicated and fell. As you see, this is what happened to all of us, because God always gives freedom to us and he frees his own Satan, his own shadow in order to do what we have to do.

Another thing is when we obey, when God says: "take her, I command you, I am with you," but if you take her by your own choice, by you own will and do not remember God, Satan is there because God always knows everything. God might says: “my child doesn't want me to be there but my shadow will be with him and I will put enmity between his seed and her seed and then the whole story repeats again, the story of the fallen Angels.

Question: You mentioned the beauty of the light side Adam and I read where Samael Aun Weor where he talks about when someone falls in love with the flower, he falls in love with the Astral Light, is that what happened to Samael in that case when he fell in love with the woman?...

Answer: Well what happened to Samael Aun Weor is that he fell in love with a woman. That woman was another initiate as well and was beautiful, both of them were standing. Both of them were prohibited to do the sexual act and both of them decided to do it, both of them fell for disobedience because it is written that the resurrected Masters should not do the sexual act. Thus, in order to rise again to the same level they have to do it through the sexual act, but by defeating Lucifer because Lucifer or Satan in other words is the one that gives the sexual strength and he acts through the sexual seed. Remember that it is written:

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ (better said: Christus-Lucifer). – Galatians 3: 16; and again "I will put enmity between thy seed and her seed," so that is the duality inside of us.

Every time that we want to perform the sexual act, Satan is there, if we fornicate Satan says "oh well, more creatures for me, more seed, more children, offspring of the devil." And the woman, the Shechinah says: "when am I going to have my offspring?" So when you start on this path and transmutes your sexual force then the woman is having the child of God inside of you, but the seed of Satan is there in order to fight against that child, and who created the seed of Satan? You did it of course. This is why the Master says, Lucifer is a golden friend, is a dragon, if we defeat him, then we become an Arch-Angel like Michael (He who is like God), but unfortunately, right now, there are not Michaels in here, right?

Question: When Master Samael Aun Weor said that when someone wants to create a real man, this is a testing lab, this Earth right here, is he talking about Tiphereth or Kether?

Answer: When he says that the sun is making a great experiment here in order to create Solar Men, he is talking about the Ain Soph Aur, that sun is the Light, the Abstract Light, the hidden sun in the 7th dimension that descends through Kether, Tiphereth and makes nests in Yesod-Malkuth, the physical body. So that Light wants to create Solar Men, so it descends from Ain Soph Aur, but projects his shadow in order to make the work. And the evening and the morning one day, and the evening and the morning second day, and the evening and the morning the third day, so between them they are creating the Solar Men, right?

But everyday is really a fight, a battle that we have to do between Light and darkness inside of us, and the outcome is precisely the sixth day, in the sixth when Elohim says let us now create the man into our own image, the Solar Man is To Soma Heliakon, the Solar Man shining like the sun, that is the Christus-Lucifer right? But solar men can be in the danger of losing their Light if they do not know how to control the evening.

For us, as men, the evening is the woman but for the woman her evening is the man. But it is more dangerous for us the males because males are active and women are passive, the Master Samael said: "for me all women are snakes from the abyss, only my wife is not, he said," this is true, but all of us think that all women are Angels from Heaven and we are just fascinated with the female body and end just as all men, fornicating. Yet, now women are also entice by men, and that is the problem, because that lure, that Light that gives beauty to the woman and beauty to the man is called “Esh” sexual fire, Ish and Isha.
