This free online course of audio lectures and transcriptions explains the meaning of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil [עץ הדעת טוב ורע] depicted in the book of Genesis / Bereshit. Da'ath דעת [Hebrew: knowledge; Greek: Gnosis] is the central theme of the story of Adam and Eve and the expulsion from Eden. In traditional Judaism and Kabbalah, the teachings of Da'ath were always restricted, given only to the elite. Now, the secret teachings are available to anyone who wants to return to Eden.
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge [Daath, Gnosis]: because thou hast [fornicated, thou hast] rejected knowledge [Daath, Gnosis], I will also reject thee, that thou shall be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law [Torah] of thy Goddess [the Schekinah], I will also forget thy children." - Hosea 4: 6
To return to Eden, we need to know how.
"Wherever we direct our attention, we spend creative energy. We can save creative energy if we divide attention, if we do not become identified with things, people, and ideas. When we become identified with things, people, and ideas, we then forget our Self and lose creative energy in the most pitiful way. It is essential to know that we need to save creative energy in order to awaken the consciousness, and that the creative energy is the living potential, it is the vehicle of the consciousness, it is the instrument in order to awaken the consciousness."
