Kundalini

Kundalini

The Sanskrit word Kundalini is derived from "kundala," which means ‘coiled," and is descriptive of the form of a specific energy when it is latent or "sleeping" in the common person. When through application of an ancient, exact science this energy is activated or awakened, it illuminates the nervous system and energetic centers, activating superior senses and abilities. In Christianity, this energy is called the fire of Pentacost. In Judaism, it is the Shekinah. In Aztec mysticism, it is called Quetzalcoatl. In Buddhism, it is known as candali or tummo: "she who terrifies the ego."

This is called Prakriti in Sanskrit. That womb manifests from itself a light, which is the light of the Christ, or the Ray of Creation. And this ray is an energy or a “going forth” of a creative impulse which gives rise to all existing phenomena. And Logos, which in Greek means “word” or “verb.” We use the term Logos because the word that we speak is the expression or the manifestation of thought. The thought is the unmanifested impulse. When it becomes manifest, it is the Logos....

If you could comprehend what it is to be awakened… Listen to me, I tell you, about the Dhammapada, the sacred work of Buddha Siddhartha Gautama… “For the awakened one, forbearing patience is the highest austerity. Nirvana is supreme,” says the Buddha. He, verily, is not an anchorite who harms another.  Nor is he an ascetic who oppresses others. The awakened ones who are intent on meditation, who delight in the peace of renunciation, such mindful perfect Buddhas even the gods hold (most)...

The Yogi who draws his semen up and preserves it, conquers death. - Swami Sivananda, Kundalini Yoga In Oriental Occultism, on the topic of Tantric esotericism, there is a lot of material to investigate, study, and analyze. Throughout Asia, there are numerous schools that agree with the virtue of continence and the non-ejaculation of seminal fluid. Some are partisans of the system of celibacy or brahmacharya; others practice the Maithuna, i.e. restrained sexual connection without attachment, but unfortunately, with orgasm and ejaculation of the precious seminal fluid.

Kundalini is mentioned throughout our lectures and the books of Samael Aun Weor. The Kundalini is at the base of all existence. It is the raw foundational energy that the spiritual seeker wants to cultivate, develop, or awaken, depending on which tradition or terms they use.
