Bible

The Bible is a collection of mystical Jewish and Christian writings that have been edited repeatedly. All of the modern language translations are but vague shadows of the original writings, partly because the letters and words of the original languages (such as Hebrew and Greek) hide the mysteries of the Kabbalah, and also because translators have always had political and doctrinal agendas to propagate. Nonetheless, through study and reflection, much of what is hidden in the Bible can still be seen, if one knows how to look.

...the Bible is the book of the Gnostics, and only when one becomes a Gnostic can one understand it." -  Samael Aun Weor, The Revolution of Beelzebub

This entire website is filled with explanations of the Bible. Here are a few articles to get you started:

This is a transcription of the audio lecture 01: Introduction to the Gnostic Revelation, which you can download for free. The Book of Revelation is a book that is very difficult to understand when we do not know a bit of Kabbalah and Alchemy. Indeed, the Book of Revelation is an alchemical book that requires a lot of meditation and, more than that, a practical life in initiation, because really it is guidance for the path of the Self-realization of the Being. In English, the name of the master that wrote the book is John. And if we go to the Middle East, they will call him Johanan. In Spanish, which was the language in which the master Samael Aun Weor wrote his books, the name of John or Johanan is "Juan." The fact that this book is written by Juan, Johanan or John, is important because this name is directly related with the Word....

Friends of mine, we meet here tonight after Christmas 1972 in order to talk a little bit about the dragon of darkness.  Remember that these teachings will constitute the Christmas message for the years 1973-1974. It is necessary to clarify, to specify, to indicate with precision, the crude satanic reality, since, indubitably, in this day and age the subject of the Devil disturbs the public opinion abundantly. Frankly, I do not acknowledge the Devil of dogmatic religions whatsoever, and I think that you cannot acknowledge that fetish of the profane clergy either. It is obvious that in Atlantis before the second transapalnian devastation, and in the land of Mu, existed a Neptunian type of flying reptile whose skin was covered with scutes or scales. That famous Atlantean amphibian was always utilized by the Chaldeans in order to...

Poreuomenon is a Greek word derived from poreuomai, meaning “propelled, depart, transfer, to pursue the journey on which one has already entered, to continue on one's journey, to go beyond physical life, to follow somebody, that is: to become his devotee; to lead or order one's life.” Ouranon is translated as Uranus so Gnostically, the title Ouranon Poreuomenon means “to ascend to heaven” or “ascension to heaven.” In Kabbalistic terminology, heaven is - in the first instance - the psychological side of the Kosmos Human; although it is within the physical body (Malkuth), it is absolutely different and higher than it. This psychological heaven corresponds to the highest parts of the three-dimensional visible “heaven,” which is the planet’s atmosphere. Thus the psychological heaven does not belong to the physical earth. When we read about the...

The sacrament of extreme unction is the final of the primary sacraments of the Gnostic Church. In that sense, it is the culmination of the previous sacraments. It is built upon all of the previous sacraments, sacred rituals, sacred acts. To understand extreme unction in its true application, in the esoteric sense, in the depth, we have to recall the very purpose of Gnosis, or in Hebrew, Daath: knowledge. Daath is a hidden sephiroth, a sphere in the central column of the tree of life. The knowledge, Gnosis, that is being given to humanity in these moments is being given with a specific purpose, which differs from the knowledge, Gnosis, given in the previous centuries. This is because humanity is dying. When we observe humanity with the eye of a physician, when we step back from our attachments, personality, and our grievances, and we observe humanity scientifically as if we were extraterrestrials or a doctor observing a patient, we would see humanity as a single organism, one body, that...

This is a transcription of the audio lecture Daath, the Doorway to Knowledge (1), which you can download for free. The doorway to knowledge is what we seek when we enter into a religion, or any kind of spirituality, that doorway of which Jesus spoke in the Gospel: Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. - Matthew 7:7-8 To knock on that doorway, we have to know where it is, and to aid us we have many religions in the world, many mystical teachings throughout all the different groups and ages of humanity. Contained...

The knowledge that we seek to understand is symbolized in the book of Genesis as a tree whose fruit Adam and Eve are forbidden to eat. Now the Lord God took the man, and He placed him in the Garden of Eden to work it and to guard it. And the Lord God commanded man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat. But of the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat of it, for on the day that you eat thereof, you shall surely die." - Genesis 2:15-17 Adam and Eve make the mistake of being tempted by the fruit of the tree of knowledge and from that moment suffering began. If we look at it historically, all of the suffering that we have, the suffering of death, of age, of illness, of pain, emotional pain, spiritual pain, began with that mistake. But we know that every symbol in the Bible and all the great scriptures holds more than one meaning, and in the Gnostic tradition, we go deeper than the literal meaning and penetrate into the other levels...

The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil that is symbolized in the Book of Genesis, the first book of the Bible, is a very deep and profound symbol that requires a great deal of patience in order to grasp its real meaning.  This is because this Tree of Knowledge, Daath, relates to the very fiber of our Being.  It is not something that you can grasp simply intellectually or as an idea. Daath is concerned with the fire that animates the atoms in your body.  Daath is concerned with the energy that is within every thought, the energy that drives every emotion. The substance of every sensation that we experience is related to the Tree of Knowledge, Daath. Do not make the mistake of thinking that simply by hearing a few lectures or reading a few books that you will comprehend what Daath means.  The fact is that this mystery of Daath has been explored by saints and prophets for centuries, and its depths still have not been fully explored—because there is so much wisdom, so much to this science of...

Come and see: each of the six days of Creation has its own form and face of the grade that guides it. You will not find a day that has no good in it. That is, it says in them: "And Elohim saw that it was good" (Genesis 1:10). Although "that it is good" was not mentioned on the second day, you will find it on the third day. Therefore, "good" is mentioned twice in it. And God said: Let the waters [of the second day] under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land [Hod] appear: and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters [of the second day] called he Seas [Yesod]: and God saw that it [the second day] was טוב [towb, good].  And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in...

Deuteronomy 5:5-23 (Moses): And Moses summoned all Israel, and said to them, "Hear, O Israel, the statutes and the ordinances which I speak in your hearing this day, and you shall learn them and be careful to do them. The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. Not with our (Inner) fathers did the LORD make this covenant, but with us, who are all of us here (with the ego) alive this day. The LORD spoke with you face to face at the mountain, out of the fire, while I (as willpower) stood between the LORD and you at that time, to declare to you the word of the LORD; for you were afraid because of the fire, and you (because of your egotistical condition) did not go up into the mountain. He said: I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of...

The prophets that appear in the Bible are symbols, archetypes. For us, the Gnostics, the names found in the Bible and many sacred books are symbols. We are not stating that these prophets and great masters did not exist—they do exist. But, each one of them came in order to represent and to give the wisdom related to their particular archetype. For instance, Jesus Christ, the Great Master, the most elevated of all the Masters that came to this planet, symbolizes an archetype that we have within, which is our own particular individual Jesus Christ. Buddha is another archetype; Moses is another archetype. When we study all of these masters, we must go deep into our consciousness in order to discover and develop what each one of them taught. As we explained in the previous two lectures, Jacob, the prophet, the...

We need to learn how to be aligned on the path that leads all of us to the final liberation. Since very ancient times, in the Bible we have seen esotericism, alchemy, magic, astrology, philosophy, mathematics, etc. I.e. if we carefully study the book by Moses called Exodus - and in the rest of the Old Testament - we discover esoteric prodigies: exorcisms, resurrection of the dead, sortileges, bewitchments, transfigurations, levitations, healings by mean of concentration in the magnetic field of the root of the nose or by means of magnetic passes, or by means of water, or by means of consecrated oil, or by means of a small portions of magical saliva placed over the affected area, etc. Thus, by carefully studying the book Exodus by Moses, one discovers in it - as in ancient times - the practical magic of the Egyptians. Moses himself was a great magician. Obviously, Moses was born in order to fulfill a gigantic mission. No one ignores that he was a cousin of the Pharaoh, and that he was a...

Parsufim (Partzufim) is a plural Hebrew word that means “faces.” Partzuf is the singular word for face, image, or countenance. Parsufim is plural and refers to the different symbols of the Tree of Life - the way in which we can understand the different triangles and the different aspects of the ten Sephiroth that are the basis of the science of Kabbalah. In Kabbalah, we study five Parsufim, five faces, or five symbols, images, countenances. We are going to talk about these five Parsufim and to see how they are related not only with Judaism and Christianity, but also with other religions. 1: Arik Anpin The first partzuf is related with the first triangle of the Tree of Life - the triangle of Kether, Chokmah, and Binah, which when translated into English...

This is a transcription of the audio lecture The Sons of Samael, which you can download for free. We study the Kabbalah in order for us to go deeper in our understanding of the scriptures. Scriptures can aid us in our psychological revolution to come out of the painful circumstances within which humanity has been submerged. The sad truth is that, as much of an optimist as we may be, death is inevitable and suffering is a fact of our daily existence. We live in times of incredible uncertainty, with an ever growing number of terrifying threats surrounding us. From day to day and year to year, our circumstances appear to grow more desperate. All of us would love to find some solace, some respite from the terrors that hunt us...

In Kabbalah, we name them when pronouncing The Invocation of Solomon, a special invocation that activates the forces of the Tree of Life in our body, mind, soul, and spirit. One part of this Kabbalistic invocation...

This is a transcription of the audio lecture The Ark of Noah (1), which you can download for free. Today we are going to talk of the symbology of the Ark of Noah, that which in Greek is called To Soma Heliakon, meaning "the solar body of the solar man," or "the body of the solar man." In Greek "to" means "the," "soma" means "body," and "heliakon" means "solar" from "Helios," "sun." Heliakon is a compound word that denotes plurality; thus, Soma Heliakon means many solar bodies; so, To Soma Heliakon: "the solar bodies of the Solar Man," which in Hebrew is the Ark of Noah. The Ark of Noah hides the secrets of the Self-realization of the Being, the secrets of Tantra, which are hidden in different verses in the Bible. We need to know a lot of Alchemy and Kabbalah in order to understand what the Ark of Noah...

Let us delve into the symbolic mysteries of the Gnostic tradition, which encompass the root knowledge of all the world’s religions. The word Gnostic indicates a type of understanding that arrives not through the intellect or through something written, but instead that comes through the consciousness, something that we discover through our conscious experience. Conscious experience has nothing to do with beliefs or theories, but is a living reality. The Gnostic understanding is the very heart and root of all the worlds religions, which in their foundations are based upon and directed towards conscious experience, not belief or theory. Stated...

This whole lecture will be related with the second chapter of the book of Genesis. We will explain the different aspects of the Garden of Eden that the second chapter of Genesis explains in a very cryptic, Kabbalistic, Alchemistic manner. To begin, let us explain that in Kabbalah when we talk about
