Le Triomphe Hermetique

Image

Le Triomphe Hermetique, from Collectanea chymica
by C.L. Morley and T. Muykens, 1693

The text at the bottom reads, “In the cavern of hidden metals is the venerable stone. Hermes.”

The fires of the earth (the sexual fire) heats the vessel, the Grail, within which is placed the energy of the Sun (the male) and the Moon (the female).

With heat and pressure there arises the Staff of the Master, upon which are entwined the arisen serpents of Adam (Pingala) and Eve (Ida).

This work is crowned by the sulfur (the cross and triangle, within which is the Phoenix Bird), and by the triple crown of the Kabbalah: the Cosmic Christ.

Quote of the Moment

"The occultist needs to establish perfect equilibrium between mind and heart. When the mind has become excessively frozen in the brain, leaving at will in the Astral Body becomes completely impossible because there is imbalance. It is urgent then that the intellectual occultists re-establish the equilibrium between mind and heart. Fortunately, there is a technique to re-establish the lost equilibrium. This technique is inner meditation."

- Samael Aun Weor, The Perfect Matrimony
