- Kabbalah
-
(Hebrew קבלה) Alternatively spelled Cabala, Qabalah from the Hebrew קבל KBLH or QBL, “to receive.” An ancient esoteric teaching hidden from the uninitiated, whose branches and many forms have reached throughout the world. The true Kabbalah is the science and language of the Superior Worlds and is thus objective, complete and without flaw; it is said that “All enlightened beings agree,” and their natural agreement is a function of the awakened consciousness. The Kabbalah is the language of that consciousness, thus disagreement regarding its meaning and interpretation is always due to the subjective elements in the psyche.
"The objective of studying the Kabbalah is to be skilled for work in the Internal Worlds... One that does not comprehend remains confused in the Internal Worlds. Kabbalah is the basis in order to understand the language of these worlds." - Samael Aun Weor, The Initiatic Path in the Arcana of Tarot and Kabbalah
"In Kabbalah we have to constantly look at the Hebrew letters." - Samael Aun Weor, The Initiatic Path in the Arcana of Tarot and Kabbalah
- Kabbel
-
The word קבלה Kabbalah derives from קבל Kabbel which means "to receive" a revelation from Chokmah (the Cosmic Christ/Iod-Havah), received by Tiphereth (human soul) and passed to Netzach (mental body) through oral or written actions of Malkuth (physical body).
- Kabir
-
The word "Kabir" is equally well-known in India and in the Middle East, although in each case the word means different things (in many areas it is used as a proper name). From Arabic it means "great" or "the Most High." It is usually attached to the name of a great teacher, as "Sri" is in India. Esoterically, it refers to the Divine Calf, the child of the Divine Mother (who is symbolized by a cow in India, Greece, etc.) The word is related to the ancient and mysterious Cabeiri of the Greek mysteries.
Kabir is also the name of an Indian religious leader who pioneered a religious movement that combined elements of Islam and Hinduism and is considered the precursor of Sikhism.
- Kain
-
(Hebrew קין) Also Kayin, Qayin or Cain; means ‘smith’, as in metal-smith, or more precisely as in blade-smith, a required skill (or kenning = knowing) of Alchemy (the melting of metals). Thus the name (Cain) in the Book of Genesis is a descriptive appellation to Alchemists.
"And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bore Cain, saying, I have acquired a man from the Lord." - Genesis / Beresheet 4:1
"The mind is called Cain. The mind is a hunter. The mind is hunting for fortunes, social positions, fame. This mind is utilized by the know-it-all-scoundrels in order to triumph; they feel they are wise and powerful with that animal lunar mind that is well-cultivated. [...] We must kill Cain, which is the lunar mind. This mind is worthless and it must be eliminated. It must be killed because it is animalistic." - Samael Aun Weor, Tarot and Kabbalah
"The third Root Race, the Lemurian people, arose (always by modification) from the Hyperborean. This race was the separating hermaphrodite Cain and Abel, which lived upon the gigantic continent of Mu, or Lemuria as it was later called, that was situated in the Pacific Ocean." - Samael Aun Weor, The Gnostic Magic of the Runes
- Kali
-
(Sanskrit, "the black one") In the sacred Vedas, this name refers to one of the seven tongues of Agni, the god of fire. The meaning has since changed to refer to the goddess Kali, the consort of Shiva.
"In India, Kali the Divine Mother Kundalini is adored, but Kali in her black, fatal aspect is also adored. These are the two Marys, the white and the black. The two Serpents, the Serpent of Brass which healed the Israelites in the wilderness and the Tempting Serpent of Eden." - Samael Aun Weor, The Perfect Matrimony
"The Kula order and their goddess Kali come from the black magic of the Atlanteans." - Samael Aun Weor, The Major Mysteries
"In the human being, the Cosmic Mother assumes the form of the serpent. There are two serpents, the tempting serpent of Eden, which is the Goddess Kali, the abominable Kundabuffer Organ; and there is the Bronze Serpent that healed the Israelites in the wilderness, the Kundalini Serpent. These are the two Feminine principles of the universe, the Virgin and the Harlot, the Divine Mother or White Moon and Astaroth, Kali, or Black Moon, which refers to its tenebrous aspect. In synthesis, two great fires exist: the Sacred Fire of Kundalini which ascends through the dorsal spine, and the Kundabuffer which descends, precipitating downwards towards the Infernos. Kundalini is the serpent of Bronze which healed the Israelites in the wilderness, the serpent which Moses rose upon the Staff. The Kundabuffer Fire is the Tempting serpent of Eden, which descends downwards towards the Atomic Infernos of the human being. In Egyptian wisdom, this tempting serpent receives the name of Apep. In the rituals of ancient Egypt, Apep was portrayed in wax and with its head aiming downwards. Thus, they exorcised it and conjured it. The Initiate must fight against this tempting serpent of sexual passion, against this horrible Apep. The Initiate must fight to the death. This negative fire of Apep is the negative aspect of Prakriti, in other words Kali. Kali assumes the aspect of a horrible viper which is writhing in the mud (see the life of Krishna). If we want to defeat this Viper in the Cosmos, we must first defeat it within ourselves. We most not forget that we have a very terrible legion of devils, which is “Kali,” the abominable Kundabuffer Organ, the frightful “Apopi” serpent. People are victims of Kali, the Tempting Serpent of which the Hindus speak." - Samael Aun Weor, Tarot and Kabbalah
- Kali Yuga
-
The fourth, the black or Iron Age, our present period that began during the Greco-Roman epoch.
"And at that time (Kali Yuga) shall Michael (the Genie of the Sun, the Solar Christ, the Son who is like God, the Archangel whose solar energy make Solar Men, Christified Adepts, Elohim, Gods) stand up, the great prince (Chokmah, the Son of Kether) who stands (through the Venustic Initiation) for the children of thy people (the Daath-Initiates): and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some (through the Kundalini) to everlasting life, and some (through the Kundabuffer) to shame and everlasting contempt. And they (who awake their consciousness) that are wise (through Chokmah) shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they (the Bodhisattvas) that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. But thou, Oh Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end (Kali Yuga): many shall run to and fro, and knowledge (Daath-Gnosis) shall be increased." Daniel12: 1-4
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Daath-Gnosis): because thou hast rejected knowledge (Daath-Gnosis), I will also reject thee, that thou shall be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children." Hosea 4: 6
- Kalki Avatar
-
(Sanskrit) According to the prophesies of India, in his tenth and final incarnation Lord Vishnu will incarnate himself as the Avatar Kalki, who will come riding his white horse and with his blazing sword in his hands. At the end of Kali Yuga (the present eon) He will punish all evil doers in this world, destroy this world, and recreate a golden age again. As it says in the ancient Vishnu Purana:
When the practices taught by the Vedas and the institutes of law shall nearly have ceased, and the close of the Kali age shall be nigh, a portion of that Divine Being who exists of his own spiritual nature in the character of Brahma, and who is the beginning and the end and who comprehends all things shall descend upon the earth. He will be born as Kalki in the family of an eminent brahmin, of Sambhala village, endowed with the eight superhuman faculties. By his irresistible might, He will destroy all the barbarians and thieves, and all whose minds are devoted to iniquity. He will then reestablish righteousness upon earth, and the minds of those who live at the end of the Kali age shall be awakened and shall be as pellucid as crystal. The men who are thus changed by virtue of that peculiar time shall be as the seeds of human beings and shall give birth to a race who shall follow the laws of the Krita Age, the Age of Purity. Vishnu Purana 4.24
This is the Buddha Maitreya of the Mahayana Buddhists, Sosiosh of the Zoroastrians, and “The Faithful and True” of the book of The Revelations of St. John 19:
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean (without ego). And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword (the Word, the knowledge), that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron (Iron is the metal of Mars, of Samael): and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh (next to the phallus) a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.).
(See also Maitreya). - Kama Kalpa
-
(Sanskrit) An ancient book about love and sex.
"The Kama Kalpa of India teaches all the asanas (sacred postures) of the Maithuna; however, it is obvious that many of these postures are inappropriate for occidentals and others are too shocking." - Samael Aun Weor, Christmas Message 1966-1967 (aka The Buddha's Necklace)
"The Tantric postures of the Kama Kalpa are very exaggerated and many of them degenerate into Black Tantra." - Samael Aun Weor, The Perfect Matrimony
- Kama rupa
-
(Sanskrit, "body of desire") The lunar, mechanical, protoplasmic astral body or body of emotions.
- Kama Sutra
-
"It is lamentable that the Hindu Kama Sutra was adulterated and deformed in a very monstrous, sinister, and abominable way." - Samael Aun Weor, Cosmic Teachings of a Lama
- Kamaduro
-
(Sanskrit: Kama, "desire"; Duro from Dur, “bad” or “difficult,” from Duristha – "very bad, difficult, or wicked"; Duro, "great crime or wickedness.") (But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it. - Genesis 2: 17).
In the human organism, Kamaduro corresponds to the uncontrolled sexual fire, the uncontrolled creative energy of Shiva (the Holy Spirit) brought into action by means of animal desire and which culminates in the emission of the sexual fiery fluid through the orgasm or sexual spasm.
Kamaduro originates the decomposition of the sexual creative energy through which Kama (desire) is expressed as karmic poison - death, in other words - as a lustful Duro (very bad), a destructive, uncontrollable force (for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. - Genesis 2: 17).
- Kanda
-
(Sanskrit)
"This is situated between the anus and the root of the reproductory organ. It is like the shape of an egg and is covered with membranes. This is just above the Muladhara Chakra. All the Nadis of the body spring from this Kanda. It is in the junction where Sushumna is connected with Muladhara Chakra. The four petals of the Muladhara Chakra are on the sides of this Kanda and the junction is called Granthi-Sthana, where the influence of Maya is very strong. In some Upanishads you will find that Kanda is 9 digits above the genitals. Kanda is a centre of the astral body from where Yoga Nadis, subtle channels, spring and carry the Sukshma Prana (vital energy) to the different parts of the body. Corresponding to this centre, you have ‘Cauda equina’ in the gross physical body. The spinal cord extending from the brain to the end of the vertebral column tapers off into a fine silken thread. Before its termination it gives off innumerable fibres, crowded into a bunch of nerves. This bunch of nerves is ‘Cauda equina’ in the gross body. The astral centre of ‘Cauda equina’ is Kanda." - Swami Sivananda, Kundalini Yoga
"Prana circulates throughout all of our nadis and vital canals. All of the 72,000 nadis of our organism have their fundamental base on the nadi Kanda. The nadi Kanda is situated between the sexual organs and the anus. The Kanda collects all of the sexual energy that circulates throughout the 72,000 canals of our organism. The sexual energy is Prana, life. The Angel Aroch (Angel of Power) taught us the Pranava KANDIL, BANDIL, R for the awakening of Devi-Kundalini. These mantras act over the Kanda, reinforcing the vibration of Prana. Thus, the spouse of Shiva, who is coiled in the chakra Muladhara, is awakened when Prana is reinforced. The correct chanting pronunciation of this Pranava is as follows: KAN dil..... BAN dil..... Rrrrrrrrrrr…… KAN is pronounced aloud. DIL is pronounced with a low voice. BAN is pronounced aloud. DIL is pronounced with a low voice. The letter R has to be rolled and acutely pronounced, imitating the sound produced by the rattles of the rattlesnake. This is how the Prana is reinforced, so that from the Kanda, from where the Shushumna nadi and the chakra Muladhara are joined, Devi-Kundalini awakens. The Kanda is precisely situated in the same point where the nadi Shushumna and the chakra Muladhara join. This is why the Pranava of the Angel Aroch acts so intensely over the Kundalini. The Kanda nourishes itself with the sexual organs. The Kanda has its physiological correspondence in the “cauda equina” of the spinal medulla... The Kanda is found situated within the chakra Muladhara." - Samael Aun Weor, Kundalini Yoga: The Mysteries of the Fire
- Kaom
-
"The police of Karma, the Kaom, emerge inside each one of us, within those intimate regions where love is missing. To flee from the agents of Karma is not possible, since inside of each one of us exists (the Kaom) the police who inevitably will conduce us towards the tribunals." - Samael Aun Weor
- Kaph
-
The eleventh letter of the Hebrew alphabet, it symbolizes the Crown Chakra, in other words, it represents the Light-Power of the Ain Soph self-realizing its latent spiritual power in Chesed, the Monad, through the Three Supernals in the Brain. The letter Kaph indicates the necessity of remembering the power of Elohim within us from moment to moment, so that the Three Supernals can fully manifest their power in our physical body and thus make their presence concrete within us. Its Kabbalistic value is 20.
- Karma
-
(Sanskrit, literally "deed"; derived from kri, "to do...") The Law of Cause and Effect.
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." - Galatians 6:7
- Karmasaya
-
The sum total of the impressions left by any sexual interrelationship (physical, emotional, and mental). In other words, impressions of past sexual encounters leave karmic traces within the subconsciousness (protoplasmic bodies / ego) as a residual, potential memory; Karmasaya is the Karmic receptacle of the active effects of those impressions.
Karmasaya is totally overcome through comprehension of its cause. Through in-depth meditation on the great emotional crises originated by Karmasaya, comprehension arrives through the superlative consciousness of the Being. Without crises and meditation upon them, comprehension and subsequent elimination of Karmasaya are impossible. In such a case, Karmasaya remains within the mind as a cause of suffering.
You have heard that it was said by them of old time, you shall not commit Adultery:
But I say unto you, that whosoever looks (with his right eye) on a (Isha, Ob) woman (the sexual force of Malkuth, physical body) to Lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart. Therefore, if your right eye (related to kindness - venus) offends you, pluck it (that lustful impression) out, and cast it from you: for it is profitable for you that one of your (psychological) members should perish, and not that your whole body should be cast into hell (Karmasaya). - Matthew 5: 27 29 - Katebet
-
A queen from Atlantean times.
"The Initiates remember that beautiful woman named Katebet of gloomy memories, Queen of the Southern States and the powerful city of the Gates of Gold of that submerged continent. Indeed, amongst the Borgia and Medici’s family history there does not exist a similar perversity as that of Queen Katebet. She captivated with her malignant beauty and Necromancy. She fascinated and seduced princes and kings with her enchantments." - Samael Aun Weor, The Kabbalah of Mayan Mysteries
- Katun
-
A Mayan term which refers to epochs or periods of time, and also to regions or Heavens. The Thirteen Katuns are..
"..thirteen periods of time for each human race. Obviously, the prophecies for each one of the past Katuns of our Aryan Root Race were exactly fulfilled. Presently, we are approaching the Thirteenth Katun. The Mayas say that between the years 2040 and 2043, the Thirteenth Katun will enter into activity. The great catastrophe that will destroy this present humanity, which lives on the five continents of the world, will occur during the Thirteenth Katun...
"Ain, Ain Soph, Ain Soph Aur.
"Kether, Chokmah, Binah, Chesed, Geburah, Tiphereth, Netzach, Hod, Yesod, Malkuth.
"These are the thirteen Aeons or supra-sensible atomic Regions, which are mutually penetrating and co-penetrating without confusion. The Unmanifested Absolute is beyond these thirteen Aeons." - Samael Aun Weor, The Pistis Sophia Unveiled
- Kaya
-
(Sanskrit) Mahayana Buddhism describes perfect Buddhahood in terms of kayas or bodies. There are varying ways of understanding the kayas.
1. Dharmakaya: Truth-body, or Formless body, related to the Absolute and visible only to inhabitants of its realm.
2. Rupakaya (body of Form) which is divided into two more:
a. Sambogokaya (Body of Perfect Enjoyment), the "spontaneous clarity" aspect of the buddha, which is perceptible only to highly-realized beings.
b. Nirmanakaya (Body of Manifestation), the compassionate aspect of the buddha, which appears in the world. - Kechari Mudra
-
A practice from the Hindu Kundalini Yoga tradition which is mentioned by Samael Aun Weor but not taught or practiced. It is described by Swami Sivananda in his book Kundalini Yoga: "Khechari Mudra: ‘Kha’ means Akasa and ‘Chari’ means to move. The Yogi moves in the Akasa. The tongue and the mind remain in the Akasa. Hence this is known as Khechari Mudra. This Mudra can be performed by a man, only if he has undergone the preliminary exercise under the direct guidance of a Guru, who is practising Khechari Mudra." This mudra requires the cutting of the tendon of the tongue. About it, Samael Aun Weor stated: "A Yogi/Yogini can live with their physical body throughout the millions of years and move about within the pure Akasha without the necessity of cutting the inferior tendon of his tongue, as the Kechari-Mudra unfortunately teaches. What is important is to attain the Elixir of Long Life and to become strong with the practice of internal meditation." (Kundalini Yoga)
- Kether
-
(or Keter; Hebrew כתר; means Crown) The first sephirah of the Tree of Life.
"Kether is the Father within us, a breath from the Absolute, profoundly unknowable to Himself. Kether is the Ancient of Days. Each one of us, in our depth, is a blessed Ancient of Days... Indeed, each one of us has in the depths of our consciousness a Venerable Elder. This is the First Logos. The Kabbalists denominate Him Kether. The Ancient of Days is androgynous, meaning man and woman at the same time. Kether is the first and last synthesis of our Being. The Elder of Days is the first terribly divine emanation of the Abstract Absolute Space. The Ancient of Days is original in each human being. He is the Father; therefore, there are as many Fathers in heaven as there are human beings on Earth."- Samael Aun Weor, Tarot and Kabbalah
"O Supernal cause OF ALL CAUSES, KETER, I wish to strive for your honor, to establish the attributes of Aba and Ima, BEING CHOCHMAH AND BINAH, for your honor's sake." - Zohar 16:4
