Where is the treasure?

Friday, March 02 2012, 12:58 PM
Hello ^^

Jesus states in Matthew 6 that the treasure is where the heart is.

In  Proverbs Sophia says that she will enter our hearts when we attain her.

In the  Upanishads and Bhagavad-gita it's written that braman/shiva/Krishna etc is in the heart.

Are they all talking about the heart charkra or the organ?

Many thanks =]

In each case, the heart mentioned is symbolic. While the physical heart is important, in terms of spirituality it is merely a transformer of energy that should be utilized by our consciousness (Soul) and Innermost (Spirit, Atman, Brahma, Krishna, Christ, etc). The real treasure of the heart is a spiritual atom that connects us with our Innermost Divine, but it is a treasure we have never bothered to seek out. It is found thorough meditation.
