Sexual practice v3

Sunday, April 08 2012, 10:55 PM
Hello again,

Have a question related to something I asked before. I have been using a sort of anesthesia for sexual practice to make it easier to withdraw from orgasm. After asking your advice earlier, I've stopped using this.
But I have read from other sources that it is good to train the muscles of the buttocks, pelvis, coccyx area etc. to make it easier to refrain from orgasm. Not just during sex necessarily, but also in order to avoid wet dreams.
Is there anything in SAW's writings that support this? I've read a book about tantra full of excercises that should help in order to refrain from orgasm, most of them are things like clenching buttocks in order to strengthen the pelvis area. Does Gnosis support this kind of practice? Do you have any experience that this sort of training could be of benefit?
I'm practicing Ham-Sah meditation, but still have trouble with wet dreams and orgasm in general. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

If the mind is tense, so will the body be. If the mind is calm, so will the body be. Therefore, if the mind is engaged in lustful processes, the body will be too.

Physical training (clenching muscles etc) is near meaningless in comparison with psychological training. If you stop engaging with lustful elements in the psyche, then the body will become trained naturally. That is why we do not teach those physical exercises. They become an excuse to avoid dealing with the actual causes of the lost energy.
