This is the first in a series of free online courses designed to give a complete introduction to the Initiatic Kabbalah, also called the Tree of Life.

We begin with the shadow of the tree, or the lowest levels of the dimensions of nature, because this is the level of existence we know and experience on a daily basis. By understanding the world around and within us, we can better understand how to reach the worlds above us.

In religions, the lowest levels of matter are called hell, averno, inferno, avitchi, qliphoth, or other names. In Kabbalah, they are called in Hebrew קליפות, which in English can be spelled Qliphoth, kliffoth, klippot, kellipot, Kelipot, Q'lippoth, Qlippoth, etc.

By understanding these levels we can understand the state of our world and our mind today, and thereby the need and method to free ourselves from suffering.
