| Hanuman |
(Sanskrit) A symbolic character in the ancient Ramayana. Hanuman, the so-called "monkey God," the cynocephalus is not an ordinary baboon (Hebrew Kuf); Hanuman is the manifested animal-mind-essence of Supreme Consciousness that spiritizes all. The word Hanuman comes from : • “Ha” is a mantra that vibrates in the head; it means ‘Supreme Spirit.’ It is also another name of Lord Shiva (Binah). • Nu means ‘that which spiritizes’ • Man means ‘mind’ Hanuman is a symbol of the human soul (Tiphereth / Manas) who must serve Lord Rama (Atman / Chesed).
